Great food and amazing atmosphere!
The buffet menu changes weekly and is always delicious and the value is fantastic! Parking is a bit of a trick since you can't park in Devon Parking Garage anymore. You have to find a spot on the street and cut through the Colcord Hotel. The girl at the computer checking us in said it will not go back to the way it was. Makes it hard to want to go to Vast since so much time is taken in parking and getting back to your parking spot when you are on a lunch time limit!
Come for the views stay for the food was our intention when making reservations here. They have the most amazing view of the city. Even after making a reservation and noting it was a special occasion we were still sat at the back of the restaurant and after those that came in after us. I would give 1 star to the awful hostess for being judgmental and unaccommodating and five stars to both the manager and server for being so kind to fulfill our request. The service was the resin we stayed. Our waiter was speedy efficient and made awesome recommendations. We spent over $500 due to the bottles we purchased for our 3 top but it was worth every penny to see the joy on my dads face as he scanned the skyline.
Great food, view, service, and ambiance. I will absolutely come back.
This place was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Will definitely be back. It's very different and one of a kind. If you want a good steak this is the place for you.
My wife and I were disappointed with our dining experience at Vast when we celebrated (1 week late) Valentine’s Day. It began by being routed through a dark parking lot with no security to get to a side door instead of being allowed to enter the main door (which I assume is now reserved for Devon business entrants only??). The welcome and seating was great, the view was amazing, then the service was adequate, barely when compared to the multiple waiters constantly attending to our needs the following night at Boulevard Steak House. The biggest disappointment was the food. While the cheeseboard was very good, our man course, Filet Mignon and Bone-in Filet were both tough and over cooked. The Lobster tail was good but not great.. The mixed vegetables were average and the chives mashed potatoes wrapped in a pastry shell had a nice presentation, but difficult to eat with crumbly pastry going everywhere and the potatoes were again, just average.
It was a perfect evening. Delicious food! Chef went above and beyond with a food allergy that was at our table and we had littles that were experiencing their first fine dining experience, so he catered to them a little. Chloe was our server and she was amazing. We watched the sun set and the city lights shine. Perfect!
love love love taking new Okies to try the most talked about place in OKC!
If the Vast prices scare you, I would totally recommend the lunch buffet it's affordable for a lot of delicious food, and lets not forget the amazing view!
Special occasion with a very special woman. Table as isolated - a good thing. A beautiful time and well worth the price of admission.
It was my husband & I’s anniversary. They treated us so well!!
We had dinner at Vast to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff were very accommodating and went out of their way to add to our celebration.
Good food. Better experience
It's a nice experience. But we've been there 4 years in a row. And it's the same food exactly each time. Overpriced imo.
We celebrated my daughter’s
Birthday, and lunch was great
The view was excellent the food was Phenomenal and the service was the best around
Absolutely wonderful evening. First time dining at Vast, looking forward to returning.
We went for a combination Valentine's/Anniversary dinner. The ambience and food were wonderful and our server, Jake, was very knowledgeable. We will definitely be going back in the future.
Fantastic Valentine's Day experience. I felt like a queen. :)
It was PERFECT
The restaurant overall was great. But the lack of choice in food opposed to what it was this time last year was disappointing. We all ordered steak and shrimp and every single one of us had to forcefully eat our food because it was so salty that you couldn't really enjoy the meal. The service was wonderful. The ambiance was beautiful, but for what we paid for the drinks were atrocious and overall tart, when they were supposed to be sweet. I will be back I just hope things have changed by that time.
Our evening at Vast was exceptional. Great Food. Wonderful views. Attentive service.
Wass really good beautiful restaurant my kids. Love it
We dined at the Vast during lunch. It was completely affordable and beautiful. It was one of the best dates we have been on. We will be back with our kids because you cannot beat the experience. I have recommended it to all of our peers!
Eating at Vast exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere, the food, the service. I would say it was probably the best meal ive ever had. We ate there on a cloudy evening so there was no view but the food, atmosphere and service more than made up for it. I look forward to the next time I eat there.
The food was amazing the entire night actually was fantastic! Unfortunately both my husband and got sick after and realize it was something we ate at the restaurant. Which is unfortunate considering we dropped over $300 on the meal. Not sure if we would return sadly.
We had an amazing anniversary! Thanks!!
A very lovely and very nice place for dinner! The view is amazing and the food is even better! The staff is very friendly and helpful!
We love eating at Vast. The food is always top quality and taste's amazing. The staff are always helpful and friendly. I would recommend his restaurant to anyone.
It was a great place for a very important meeting.
This was an early valentines surprise for my boyfriend. I was so excited to take him. From the time we first entered the building your employee’s was not what I would say as very friendly. I had the filet well done as I always do wherever I order one at. I was very disappointed it was over cooked and very salty. I did not like it.! My boyfriend got the bone in ribeye which he had told me he would like to try before he even knew we was going. He ate his but wasn’t real pleased with his either. All we was ever asked to drink was water. As far as price it was way overpriced!! I was so disappointed with this place I will not recommend or come back
Great service from parking to driving off. Everyone was very processional and helpful. Food was awesome.
I always love Vast when I can make it. Great views, great food with a little bit of a twist and always great service. I've never been disappointed.
Our anniversary dinner was wonderful. Spectacular views. We requested a window seat (when I made the reservations) and they honored that with a nice table overlooking the OK River, Bricktown, the Omni hotel, Scissortail Bridge, and more. Watching as the lights blinked on all over OKC was a treat. Food was great. Delish. Hubbie had a steak, I had chicken, and we shared an appetizer of shrimp ... soooo yummy! The chef spoiled us and hand wrote in chocolate "Happy 25th Anniversary!" on our dessert dish. Our server, Stephanie, was amazing. We took our time and enjoyed coffee with our chocolate dessert. Lovely evening! -- (regarding Covid safety ... everyone wore masks / we were spread out with empty tables between us ... lots of safe space / QR code used for menus on our own phones ... brilliant! they thought of everything)
The atmosphere was great, the view undeniably the best, however the food has a lot to be desired. The steaks have a reduction that masks the flavor of the meat, leads one to think it’s lower quality meat. The food came out tepid at best, our server didn’t come back to check on us until we were about through eating so I’d say he failed. Mind you he was so very generous to take off $8.00 for the cost of the sides, I didn’t ask for that, it really offended me. My wife asked that her steak be butterflied when cooked but for some reason that didn’t happen, the kitchen cut the steak in half, all examples of failure. If we were dining at oh say Outback yes I would expect things like this to happen. This was a disappointment, but it helped me to know there are much better establishments in the city.
We were there for a quiet birthday dinner, just my husband and me. We’ve been to Vast many times over the years, both for occasions and simply to dine. The food is always excellent, but this time our service was interminably slow. I saw no more than a half dozen other patrons—the restaurant was virtually empty. It took an hour to get our food (15 mins just to have our order taken). Then we had to ask for the check after putting on our coats and being obviously ready to leave for 15-20 mins. I finally put my head down on the table I was so tired after a 1 hour, 1 course meal took over 2 hours. That did it and she finally brought our check. Disappointing. Has Covid ruined Vast like it is ruining everything else?! I won’t say the server’s name, but she might try being more attentive to those on whom she waits. Perhaps it was because we are older? We were in suit/tie and dress/heels. I just don’t understand.
I went there for my birthday and it was good experience, I enjoyed it.
Nice table with a million dollar view of the sunset from 49 stories up! Great drinks and service. My salmon dish was a little disappointing however. Good piece of Scottish salmon but too busy of a plate with mostly pungent sides that overwhelmed the salmon, especially the chimichurri sauce. Might be time for a reboot of that recipe.
Absolutely loved everything! Thanks to the staff who made my family feel very welcomed.
Great food and great atmosphere!! Vast has the best trained staff in Oklahoma!!
We had our wedding at Vast and go back every year for our anniversary dinner (and usually couple other times over the year). This year, due to covid pandemic, Vast opened up meeting room for dining to support social distancing. We had a nice view in the room but the space is not near as nice as the restaurant and I felt like we were seated in a conference room with a nice view. The waiter was pleasant but limited on F&B knowledge in relation to our past experience at Vast but sommelier was great. The service was a bit choppy and slow and our food did not come out as hot as normal. I will no longer go to Vast if I cannot be guaranteed seating in the actual restaurant and I hope they improve waitstaff training. The food running needs to be more prompt if they use these extended service areas.
