Server in the lounge messed up numerous times even charging us the wrong things. Husbands steak was cold. We have been there 3 times. This time was not great!
Was great, Phillip did awesome!
Increíble experiencia!!! Algo que excepcional mi pareja estaba encantadisima con la vista. Volveré a ir
I really enjoyed vast and the view. im glad I got to experience such a great restaurant. im not really into fine dining as much as I would be a large portion of something tasty. say like texas roadhouse. but I understand the quality and expertise of the chefs is an acquired taste. so I went ahead and gave it five stars anyways. the devon tower build ing is beautiful though really enjoyed it
Amazing view. I could have sat at my table until the next morning, just to watch the sunrise on the 49th floor. Our wait staff was incredibly personable and deeply cared for our wants, needs, and experience. The food- don't even get me started. The meat melts in your mouth, and the spices/sauces had unique flavor. It was perfect. 10/1 the best place I've dined at. ( yes, I mean 10 out of 1). Thank you for the experience!
Food is average to below average. Buffet style should have more options for the pricing and the meat was very dry and bland. Can easily find more value options with superior food. This place is only worth drinks and some scenic views.
The food is perfect, the Staff is even better! They anticipated our every want and need, and went over the top taking care of our party.
The food was delicious! Service was nice. Supporting staff was more enjoyable that our main waiter. I thought he was a bit rude, which is a shame..
Great service and good food. Great cocktails. Only complaint were the clouds/fog.
The Braise of the day (lamp shank) was amazing and the short rib was heaven. Then scallops were only 3 and ok, but not worth the higher price point. Should have come with more substantial side(s). The service as exceptional. The view amazing. I will be back for the braise and the short rib, but I am wondering if seafood is not their strength. Complimentary dessert bc our anniversary, which was such a nice surprise! Overall, recommended!
My husband and I had a great experience dining at Vast to celebrate my birthday. The food was very good, but even more impressive was the service. Our waiter, Tio, was the most attentive and thoughtful waiter we’ve ever had. He treated us with great respect, he was knowledgeable, and was incredibly thoughtful. We had a late reservation at 9pm. When a window table with a better view opened up, he offered to move us there and we took him up on it. He also took several photos of us in various locations in the restaurant during a private tour after dinner (his suggestion). We were so very impressed and grateful!
The service was great and the food was very good. The views were awesome.
The food was very good. And the service was excellent.
Everyone in our group thought it was great! Food was excellent, service was good. Noise level low so we could visit with each other.
Vast food and service are always top notch. View is best at night. Good wine list, if pricey. They will give you a corner table if you want to talk. In the running for OKC's #1.
Thanks to Peter our professional and willing server
The people serviced us perfectly, never once they didn’t make us feel comfortable and it was just an amazing experience!
Most breathtaking views of Okc! Food was perfect and service was impeccable! Great Scotch and my wife said her martini was as good as she has ever had!
My wife and I have had dinner here twice. Two best meals of my life.
Everything was great! Service was exceptional! Price was way out of line. Especially since I didn’t get a window seat.
My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and our tradition is to go to a fine dining restaurant. This year we chose Vast and were extremely pleased. We had requested a window-side table which was ready for us shortly after we arrived. The hostess offered a coat check service. After being seated, we were offered a choice of sparkling, still, or tap water while we reviewed the beverage menu. After ordering our drinks, we were given a complimentary amuse bouche consisting of crab meat on a house made potato chip. It was quite good. We were also each given a warm dinner roll and butter. Also good. I had the maple glazed duck and my wife had a featured dish of coconut poached cod. The duck was fantastic and beautifully plated. The cod was very good, but we both agreed the duck was far superior. Both were perfectly sized portions. Afterward, we were offered the dessert menu and ordered a Black Forest cake and some milk and cookies. My wife loves chocolate and thoroughly enjoyed the cake. Cookies are my kryptonite so I loved the selection of large warm cookies they provided. By the time we finished dessert we were quite full, but it was worth it.
All of that took just under two hours and it was well spent admiring the beautiful night view of Bricktown, the Chesapeake arena and the surrounding area. Overall, we had a lovely anniversary dinner and I would recommend Vast to anyone looking for a romantic spot for fine dining.
Had dinner with my spouse and enjoyed everything very much! Looked out on the beautiful lights of Myriad Gardens, shared a delicious appetizer of shrimp. Enjoyed the filet of beef for my entree and ended with a delicious deconstructed Black Forest cake. Everything was delightful!
Lovely food! Friendly service! Beautiful ambiance and view! Thank you!
Anniversary - great views. Food was good.
What can I say...restaurant is exceptional. Was there for 40th wedding anniversary.Food was great, atmosphere impeccable, absolutely beautiful view of the city and our waiter was "OFF THE CHAIN ". He really made our occasion very special. Will definitely recommend and will be back.
Great view and alright place to dine given the options in the area. Always room for improvement regarding reservations/ seating/ food options.
My 10 year-old daughter was physically ill several times hours after eating at the buffet, and only recovered the following day. I used to like this place, but we won't be back.
The food was average. I enjoyed the chicken. Had a 4 course meal. It was extremely overpriced and the hype for vast was oversold. It’s a great view and killer service but for the cost wasn’t worth it at all.
I knew what I was walking into cost wise! But I won’t be revisiting. So overall not completely disappointed but just wasn’t overall impressed with the food.
It’s was a nice place for a romantic New Year Eve Dinner...
Came here for a late dinner on New Years Eve, and was surprised to see many empty tables. That may have contributed to the atmosphere overall, which wasn't energetic and festive as I thought it would be on NYE. The food was all excellent, but considering the price per meal, the service was a bit lackluster. I say this as someone who moved from Chicago only a few months ago, where top notch service is often as much a part of the dining experience as the food itself. We waited over 10 minutes until someone stopped by just to give us menus and water, and it was probably almost 20 minutes until we got our first drinks. That in and of itself can be excusable on a busy night, but again it didn't even seem that busy, and the waitstaff didn't apologize or even engage with us much throughout the night (we were left with the feeling that we were a secondary responsibility, almost like the waitress had more important things on her schedule to attend to- she didn't seem excited or even interested in explaining anything about the food or the restaurant itself). Again, this probably comes across as quite nitpicky and elitist, but we've been to some of the best and most talked about hotspots in Chicago, where we could still pay 2/3 or even half what they charged here and felt really taken care of, like the staff were as excited to be a part of the experience as we were. For $115 a head, before alcohol, I expected a lot more. (The cocktails we both had were also pretty subpar- one was far too sweet, and the Thyme after Thyme seriously tasted like Robitussin- and we both know and like a well-crafted cocktail).
New Years Eve late dinner. Very busy and a little slow and inattentive service. Food and view wonderful.
Recommend to any one.
New Year’s Eve dinner.
Meals were four courses - but didn’t allow for any changes in the sides - ie Brussel sprouts for ANYTHING else -
The server basically explained the menu like this “well the menu is self explanatory”
Then the person serving the food - didn’t know which dish was which - and the food was average at best - the potato mash “their specialty” - was hardened on the top and had been cooked much earlier - for a meal costing over $250 for two - I would have expected a bit more -
Also they had a table in a glass boxes area - that were SO loud - and when we said something to the waiter - the response “it’s the 2nd or 3rd time I had customers complain about the noise and left me a crappy tip”
The view is wonderful - but the overall food quality was sub par...
Everything was really good, only thing i would suggest is servers didnt know where food went and was giving to incorrect person at every course. This class of establishment you would think they would know where meal went.
Wasn’t aware that there was a limited menu when I made a reservation for New Year’s Eve. It was my first experience there and it was my anniversary. It reminded me of an airport restaurant. The food was very good but no where near the $450 price tag for 4 people to dine!
Everything about Vast from the service to the atmosphere, the view, food and price was perfect. my only issue was the hair in my salad. I would recommend Vast to everyone..
Vast is an experience worth the drive. This is my third year going to Vast on New Year's Eve. The food and service have always been very good. However, this year the food was the best. The special menu offered a variety of options for its diverse patrons. The creme brulee is to die for. The staff was very personable and exemplary in their service. I live two hours away and look forward to my next visit.
It was my sons 19th birthday and our reservations for 4 got mixed up online and they had us for 2 separate reservations, one for 7:30 the other for 8:15 not our fault computer error so while I arrived on time for my 7:30 and was waiting on my husband to drive from Shawnee after working we were seated promptly but waited for a very long time to have anything to drink offered to us, the holding table we where sent to was filthy and the manager wiped it off while we sat that knocking crumbs on us. After we finally were seated together as 4 it still took at least 30 minutes for drink orders to be taken and the food was not prompt at all! Aaron & Tip were the only helpful people during our visit on 1/29! This was our 5th trip to vast, 2 have been with my husbands work through inframark and we will definitely not be back and we will be advising his corporate offices to find other accommodations for future gatherings!
We anticipated the ambiance of sunset at 49 stories but never thought the food would taste so amazing! This gem is well worth the price for a special occasion! Service was highly above average from the minute we were seated. Vast offers the elusive 'food buzz' I generally associate with trying a variety of new flavors. Every bite was cut from a familiar ingredient; shrimp, potatoes, filet, carrots, etc. But the kitchen at Vast transformed those basics into culinary magic. I must admit I did not expect that I would leave with such a high opinion of this restaurant's food. I cannot wait to come back!
