A great place to show a business person visiting OKC for the 1st time many of the area outstanding features.
Everything was outstanding for our first dining experience in 18 months.
very impressed by bartenders, wait staff and reception. everyone very polite and professional. food was very good also.
Delicious food and outstanding ambience!! Well worth the price!! The views are amazing!!
Best view in Oklahoma City! Excellent food. I had Caribbean jerk chicken, steak and grilled salmon on their Daily Table buffet. The price was very good for the quality of food offered, and the ambiance speaks for itself with an unbelievable view from the 49th Floor of the Devon Energy Tower.
The buffet is only available between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. from Monday through Friday, so you need a an afternoon open during the work week to be able to check it out. That being said, I highly recommend doing it at least once, especially if you live in OKC.
Great views, great food!
My Father’s Day surprise to my husband began with an all night baby-sitter and dinner at Vast. This was our first time here and WOW! Our server, Chloe, was AMAZING! We needed some substitutions for our sides which was easily accommodated, and Chloe was a huge help and very knowledgeable about all the food and wines. The soup of the day was INCREDIBLE. The food, atmosphere, SERVICE, and view were all beyond top-notch. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you to Chloe, and the other support staff, for the BEST date night and such a special start to Father’s Day!
Great experience. Will probably be a new anniversary tradition. Food, service, setting: all great.
The ambiance, spectacular. The view super spectacular. The food, the salads, the entrees, the desserts, so scrumptious, like none other. The service, however, was somewhat slow. It took all of 45-60 minutes just to get our dinner. It was all worth every penny. So when you go, and you really should, plan to be there 2 - 2.5 hours.
Great experience!! Highly recommend! Service and view was perfect for our anniversary!
Loved the experience. We'll most likely be back. The bread was a little too hard but still good.
My only complaint is that I can only give them 5 stars 10/10 would recommend great service wonderful food excellent atmosphere and view. Perfect for special occasions.
All around perfect!
Great food & view!! We always enjoy dining at Vast. Wonderful place to relax or celebrate any occasion.
Vast is the place to go for that special occasion or just because!!
This place is amazing. Francisco was an amazing server. It was my wife and I's first time, and we will definitely be back.
Great Experience food was decent service was nice highly recommended!!
Amazing experience! Will definitely return.
Food was amazing, and so was the staff. Cameron was fun, and spot on, on all his suggestions.
The food and ambience was great but our server was so awkward that it made the experience a little uncomfortable. He thought he recognized my boyfriend from somewhere and didn’t take it well when he was wrong, we asked for a wine rec and he talked in detail about multiple wines on every page and didn’t leave the table for several minutes, and throughout the meal made other gaffs. Hopefully he was just having a bad day! However, if this is the serving style that the restaurant recommends I would skip Vast.
Delicious buffet with several meat selections. Very reasonably priced ($22) lunch considering the location and food. Superb service and the best view in Oklahoma.
An evening at Vast was what I expected- a true escape of an adventure compared to average dining spaces. The service was top notch and the food was as advertised. And the atmosphere with the view was amazing.
It was wonderful..the staff was very friendly. Are waiter was very kind. The atmosphere was beautiful.. not like any other restaurant in okc, ok
First, the view was excellent and ultimately everything here is trumped by the fact that you're paying for it. All of the negative and positive factors below are heavily outweighed by it.
Reservation said valet parking was $10, but there was no valet parking and instead we paid $5 to park and had to walk around the building to enter. Not a big deal, but don't advertise valet if you don't have it.
Food was a solid okay for the cost. Not great, not terrible.
Scallops were cooked perfectly, but the flavors were a bit awkward when combined with anything else on the plate. They had a green sauce under them that was bitter and just not very good. I found myself wiping it off the scallops instead, which isn't what you want or expect. The "salad" was a bit bland and lacked impact. Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen in Vegas has a comparable scallop (first course, not a main dish) that's overall superior and less expensive. Knowing I can get better for less sours the experience in some ways.
The Rack of lamb was cooked perfectly and had a great sauce and wonderful flavors. Totally worth the money and zero complaints.
Wine pricing is a bit expensive. We had a bottle of Tintero, which is about a $20 bottle of wine priced over $50.
Waitstaff was excellent, even if stretched a little thin it seemed.
The food was really salty I got the steak and took two bits of it and could not eat it . The alcohol drinks were really really undrinkable also way too much liquor. The manager was really nice and took care of everything the first 5 times we went there was excellent. I hope y’all fix the problems. And also the waitress came to our table maybe three times in an hour and a half. Overall it was just a really bad experience for my wife’s 40th birthday
The expectations of a prime location with a high reputation for quality were exceeded only by the cordial professional staff which made you feel important and a little pampered. Yes it is at the top of my list for many reasons. The Chefs staff is introduced in the form of a small sample for your taste palate. Ours was a crab salad on a chip. The human touch is ignored in many fine establishments. I would rate this as a 5 star restaurant with an added flare for the staff and ambiance of it’s unique location.
We enjoyed our 15th Anniversary sitting in what seemed the best seat in the house overlooking Myriad Gardens, Scissortail Park, and Bricktown Ballpark just to name a few hotspots. Our waiter was accommodating and quick. The food was divine and perfect portions. The cocktail I enjoyed was an amazing blend of flavors. The best part of the entire night was receiving a complimentary dessert tray with miniature portions of 3 different desserts and a fudge drizzle spelling out Happy Anniversary. Everything was superb and well-thought out.
Birthday for daughter
Our server (Chloe???) was absolutely lovely. The food here was comparable to any random roadside steakhouse. I went to Vast twice when Kevin Lee was there, two best meals I’ve ever had in my life. That guys food literally blew my balls off. They’re gone. This new guy? Get rid of him. I’m sure he’s a nice guy, but he can’t cook.
They brought out a crab cake that was complementary from the chef at first. It was over cooked and cold. It took a hour before they even brought out the salads. The charcuterie board we ordered as a appetizer was definitely not impressive. No one at the table would even eat most of it. After waiting forever on our food, the steak was ok. Not impressive either. The dinner was over $300 all together and the only thing good about it was the waitress and the view. Probably my last visit! Not worth the price….
Excellent food, service and view of Oklahoma City. We were there for my wife's birthday and she loved it. We'll be back.
Good food, great service, excellent view. Super selection of well-made cocktails. Very pleasing experience.
Food is overpriced and quality was only so-so. The charcuterie board was underwhelming, the scallops cold, and the soups watery and salty rather than filled with flavor.
Awesome experience... All the food was amazing! So glad we went there.
The charcuterie was really nasty. We ate it because it was expensive...the salmon was fine, but over priced. The service was excellent.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed dinner at Vast together for the first time to celebrate her birthday. I work in restaurants and can sometimes be a little over-critical of service standards and food quality when I go out; however, Vast did a lot of things very well and seemed to have a well put-together team on its dining room floor. My general sense is that the great experience we were provided would be consistent and there for us again if we go back.
Francisco was our server. He was very polite, helped us out with some great recommendations, and gave us plenty of space.
I asked for a window side table if available when making the reservation, and they were happy to give us one.
The room is very quiet and the high view provided a wonderful sense of escape and removal from the chaotic city below - this was my favorite part of eating at Vast. Watching hawks sail on thermals outside the windows while eating was also a nice touch.
The runner that brought us our charcuterie board took the time to describe the assortment to us and our steak and rack of lamb were high quality.
The menu is priced mid to high, but it was apparent that the staff cared about the food they put in front of you and strive to maintain a good standard of service - adding value.
I recommend giving it a try.
What a nice evening - the views from the 49th floor were great. Food was very good, but the best part of the experience was our server Cameron. His knowledge of and pride in his city were amazing and he went out of his way to make our time there memorable, including a tour after our meal to a private room that overlooked the other side of OK City and the red ball of the setting sun. The meal was ‘above and beyond’ all around!
