I just love this place - the ambiance the food creativity over the top the choices amazing!!! Love love love
Great menu. Great food. We really enjoyed ourselves
We went on Saturday "date night" Food was excellent. Service was very good although sometimes it was hard to hear the waiter because the noise level in the restaurant is pretty high and he spoke softly.
Vasili’s Kitchen nails it with traditional Greek cuisine at it’s finest. Unlike their competitors, Vasili delivers on quality & quantity and truly mouth watering authentic dishes. The vodka sangria is refreshing, along with our order of the trio of dips and Greek Village Salad for starters. More than enough to pass around for a table of 3. A+! For dinner, we split the perfectly prepared whole Branzino (minus the head and tail) and the salmon entree. The crispy warm Bougasta for dessert completed the meal and WOW on the Irish Coffee! We have been to Vasil’s several times before and were mildly pleased...they have stepped up their game and the results are awesome. Keep up the good work, we will be back for seconds! Bravo sas!
Excellent mixologists. They are awesome and know how to make cocktails! Small plates lamb meatballs, shrimp pea spread on homemade bread, chicken and more. Food is tops! Staff and service is always spot on
Wonderful food, with special take on several dishes.
But what made the evening superb is our waitress, who was friendly, professional, efficient and quickly became good friends with our young daughter. Would definitely eat here again!
Great location, tasty food!
Tasteless bland bolognese. Outdoor patio so LOUD you can’t talk to your companions. Server was pushy and rude, clearly wanted us gone.
Vasili’s has definitely upped their game. We came in an evening when there was a live band so the noise level was likely higher than normal. Aside from that the food is quite good and the service was great. We had the hummus which featured charred chickpeas(what a great idea!), olives marinated in oil, lemon and orange peel and really unique and great fried zucchini balls. Dinner was good too. I had the cat h of the day which was slightly over cooked but the white bean, sausage tomato base was delicious! Overall a good experience. We will be back.
When we arrived, the host asked us if we wanted a table or a booth. We said a booth and they brought us over to our booth. The food and drinks came out in a timely manner. My favorite drink is a Green Mango Cocktail. Our favorite food included Chicken Agvolemono Soup, Grilled Octopus, and Shrimp Penne. Don’t forget to order complimentary bread as it’s made to order.
Staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. Food was prepared well and was hot. The ambiance was lovely! It was the perfect place to go on a cold rainy evening!
My first visit to Vasili's Kitchen was a good one. The ambiance, service, food and drinks were so, so delicious. I especially remember the house-made blood orange sorbet. Very intense taste! The only drawback to this restaurant are the prices. It's a nice place for a special treat or celebration but not one I can frequent very often.
Wonderful wonderful food! Not inexpensive but this has become my family’s special occasion spot.
Love Vasili’s. Love the atmosphere and ambiance. Great service. Very attentive. Food always consistently and delicious.
Overall a very nice place with great food - but seems a bit too pricey for certain items.
Vasili's is a real gem. Innovative menu. Excellent dishes well presented. THe staff always is friendly and professional. Cozy atmosphere. While not the least expensive restaurant, you definitely get what you pay for.
Service was excellent, food was GREAT, and I definitely will be dining with you again soon!
This was my first time there I heard many great things about this restaurant silver Swiss a little slow considering the amount of money in which we paid for are entrees. I expect when I go to a very well-known restaurant for this service to be impeccable I don't know what was going on that evening but the service as far as servers when it's very slow overall the food was awesome I will definitely come back but I expect the service to pick up
Overall very good experience. We ordered mezze to share between 2 of us. Table was small and there was struggle to get plates on table, even though I suggested that delivery of food be spread out. At one point, server reached directly over my plate to grab empty glass. Also, they brought same plate twice accidentally and never did order one dish that we asked for. Other than tableside manners, service was friendly and accommodating. Some items were a little overpriced, in particular the bottled wines, and I am well aware of their distributor cost and what other restaurants sell same bottles. Lastly, the shrimp saganaki had extremely hard chunks of bread, that did not soak up the tomato sauce well and simply served to make the amount of food in the plate appear more plentiful.
Just a great time from the moment we walked in the door. The hostess was super nice and very friendly to my 3 year old kids. Our server stopped over very frequently asking if we needed anything; also she was super friendly and never made us feel rushed. The food is always great. I do wish they offered more non-meat entrees/dishes, but the ones they do offer are super good. I don't know if it is an every night thing, but Chef Lucacos was walking around talking with everyone, making sure they were having a nice time; I thought that was very nice and thoughtful.
Jessica and Angel were absolutely outstanding. Wonderful service and the drinks were impeccable! Bar became a bit crowded and almost impeded service. We’ll be back for sure!!
The food was delicious, but the portion was small. The service was great. I will recommend it to my friends
Everything was great and our waiter was fantastic. The only issue we had was that it took way too long to get our food and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant at that time.
Was a beautiful evening and enjoyable dinner at such a warm environment. The servers as well as the bartenders are top-notch. I would highly recommend Vasili’s to anybody who wants to have an wonderful and enjoyable evening.
I brought my sister & brother-in-law who were visiting from out of town to Vasillis for brunch. Everything was delicious and they loved it as much as I do!!! I love the atmosphere and ambiance as well!!!
Angel makes the best drinks and the hummus is amazing!
Dinner for two was lovely. Menu for wine by the glass was obviously carefully curated.
Local gem. Great meals with a Mediterranean flare. The ingredients are always fresh and the drink selections from the bar are creative too.
B’day brunch. Food and service was fantastic ... and at a moderate price. All good.
We arrived early for our reservation, so we took up space at the bar and ordered a couple drinks after chatting with the very personable bartender. My wife's wine was good and my cocktail was decent, and we liked the bar setup and vibe. Then our table was ready, and we were escorted to a quiet corner in the back room where it took almost 10 minutes for anyone to notice us and bring menus. At that point we were wishing we'd stayed at and ordered from the bar. But from then on the service was good. We ordered a humus-based appetizer with vegetables which we really liked. The entrees, however, didn't quite measure up. My "homemade pasta" was a good value but not striking in any way, and not something I would re-order. My wife got a halibut that was nice although undersized and under sided for the excessive cost of nearly forty dollars.
We'll come back sometime for a second try, maybe sit at the bar and try some other entrees.
Excellent as usual
Brought another friend for first time. As usual, food was tremendous, service top shelf and will be back again soon. The special of the Tuna Tartare was exceptional!
My lunch companion and I both had the Moussaka and we agreed it was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The downside was the noise level and inadequate parking. We had to park two blocks away from the restaurant- because of this we won’t return.
Disappointed. Did not consider the food authentic at all and the price for value is too high
We went for my boyfriends birthday and the food was some of the best I've ever had. I had the roasted chicken (highly recommend) and he has shrimp bucatini (which was also amazing). The only downside was we had a not so great server who seemed to want to spend as little time conversing with us as possible. It made the dinner uncomfortable and definitely distracted us from how amazing the actual restaurant was. It was especially upsetting because we could clearly see that everyone around us was receiving killer service. I'm not one to call and complain, but I did simply because I was upset that it happened on my boyfriends birthday. The manager was so amazing though, he genuinely cared about what had happened, apologized, and asked we give them a second chance. It is because of his response to the situation that I will for sure be coming back!
Good food; outstanding service
We have been to Vasilas before and had a good experience, but this visit was most disappointing. When I ordered my meal I asked if I could substitute vegetables for the potatoes, after checking with the kitchen I was told I could. I ordered the zucchini and peppers. I was told there would be a $2 up charge. Personally, I think this is ridiculous as I was removing an item and the place is not inexpensive, but I will pay for something if I want it. When the food dish came, they brought vegetables, but not what I ordered (and items I could not eat). They had excellent customer service as they did not leave my husband's dish, they took them both away to make the change. They then brought my dish with twice the amount of salad (and twice the amount of dressing) and artichokes- which I also could not eat. They should of told me from the beginning no substitutions as I would of ordered something I could eat and would fill me. The fish was delicious, but the sides were disappointing. To make up for it, they offered to bring us dessert. Ironic since I was concerned about eating healthy. My husband ordered the baklava since it was coming for free. But it was so covered in cinnamon, it was uneatable. I was very upset after this meal. I left hungry and disappointed. Not sure I would go back.
The food was outstanding!! Will definitely be back!
Food was good but the restaurant was super busy with normal dinners and a private party so time between courses lengthy. We wished it was a bit quicker as we were too tired to stay for dessert.
