   Unexpectedly, we were treated to a "Bollywood Songs" singer. She was very loud (we were six feet away) but very good, despite the fact that we have never seen a Bollywood film. Food: superb. Not overly fancy, but perfectly presented, served politely and well. The place itself (we wondered what it might have originally have been) is amazing, like a three-floor variety hall. Very expensive (well over £100 for to of us without a bottle of wine), but worth it. I recommend you go.

   The entrance to the restaurant is probably worth all the points as it is just beautiful. The food was stylishly presented and was interesting and unexpected. It was a little over styled but the food is actually very good. Would recommend the place for large celebratory groups/dinners

   Total theatre upon entrance, fantastic. I hoped the food lived up to this and it did. Top quality food and service, first time here and we will certainly be back!

   We dined at varanasi restaurant for my birthday. What a fabulous and unique find. Blown away from the moment we stepped in. Pleasant and friendly welcoming. Entrance and as you go into the restaurant almost as though you have transitted into a restaurant in a different country. Decor and design is truly immaculate, classy, elegant and completly different to what i have seen in birmingham. Food absloutly outstanding, exceptionally tasty, flovours and spices just right and moctails very nice. A special thank you to the waiting team who served us with such professionalism, friendliness, made us feel so important, thank you also for bringing out the cake and singing happy birthday you can actually sing guys. We loved our evening, thank you to the waiter for giving us a tour of the restaurant we loved the private dining rooms very equisite and luxurious, we are looking to hold a christmas party so we will most definently will be back.
