Vaquero dining is nestled in under the Old Albion town hall built-in the 1800s. Full of character this venue lets the imagination run wild.
The speakeasy-style entry through a vintaged themed butcher shop sees the space open up into a beautifully fitted out dining haven.
The food is inspired by the Spanish Vaquero (herdsman) with aged and cured meats front and centre on a beautifully designed ever-changing menu.

Chef Angellic Lokeni and his team work side by side with a skilled team of bartenders and waiters.

It’s been a while since we last dined at Vaquero, too long. There being three of us, we opted for the Premium Banquet. There are enough choices to satisfy most tastes. The table staff and kitchen staff were mindful of food allergies; we find it a good idea to advise the restaurant when booking. Our table staff were polite and knowledgeable, offering suggestions and explaining the cooking techniques. And all went well with a bottle of Tempranillo, selected from a perfectly adequate wine list. A good time, indeed.

This was a wonderful dining experience. We had the set menu with the wine pairing. It as all expertly put together.

My recent visit to this restaurant was nothing short of a disaster. Despite having a reservation, my partner and I were made to wait for a whole hour before being seated. Once finally seated, our excitement quickly turned into disappointment as it took another agonizing hour before our food arrived at the table. To add insult to the injury, we discovered that my steak was overcooked and burnt to a crisp, with not even a hint of salt to salvage the flavor. The service was abysmally slow, and the overall dining experience was a complete letdown. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone seeking a pleasant meal

Meals and services were great (amazing), but the waiting time was long. The main meal only came 2hr 15mins later. Generally, it was good

Food was great, however we wait almost 20 minutes to be seated on Valentine’s Day. Every meal took so long to arrive too. All meals were excellent
