Food and service was awesome
The food was delicious! This is indeed a hidden gem.
Very nice very nice very nice In like in love denner
One of my favorite spots in the city! The food and ambiance are both amazing. It's hard to find that nowadays. I was craving the artisan pepperoni pizza and it was on point per usual! This spot is the perfect photo opportunity too.
Atmosphere is outstanding. I would suggest getting a bunch of small plates instead of an entree. They apps taste way better than the entrees. Drinks are good. A great place to go on date night
Our second waiter was great, very attentive, helpful, and amazing attitude, Thank you
Unreasonably loud, waiter with a negative attitude, cold food - I have no reason to go back. I am so disappointed in Tao group - the question I am asking now if this is a property not properly managed or an overall decline of Tao brand.
Second time to Vandal and just as excellent as the last!! Definitely recommend the mushroom sopes, frosé, and off the wall cocktail.
Landon was our waiter. Amazing service with amazing food to share. Great prices for the amount we ordered. Will definitely return.
Just went for dessert and drinks. Loved the ambiance and decor of the restaurant. Friendly staff. I’d definitely go back
Everything went perfectly, I was a little disappointed that they change the menu every 3 months. They need to bring back the lobster sopas.
Our waiter was amazing! Great energy and very accommodating. Will be back very soon!
Dissapointed of being charged for bottle service at the club after eating and drinking for $350. We only wanted to have a look and then decide if we want to spend more money there
Very good experience nice fashion crowd that night will definitely recommend
The decor, the food, the amazing staff, this place was great!
Great decor and a fun vibe, but the food was a little disappointing. My steak was cold by the time it arrived, and the server forgot to put in our side order of brussel sprouts, so we never got them. It's a better spot to grab a drink than it is to eat dinner.
Fun experience, art is amazing. Fantastic service! A bit pricey.
Don't go hungry. Food is very small portions. Drinks weren't the best.
Great place for drinks and hang time...decor is beautiful and great place for photos
I had ordered an off
It’s an amazing place to take pictures
I had a good time however the dish ordered the rice wasn’t to my liking however the waitress made it her business to ensure I was satisfied and bought me our plain rice . We were pleased
Came for restaurant week and the food was good. Definitely will be back.
Vandal is one of those places that every time you go it feels like the first time. I took a friend of my Who was the for the first time. She loved every minute of our experience. Service was outstanding, food delicious, drinks elegant and tasty. Loving the new art exhibition. Vandal is my #1 choice is terms of places that I know for sure it won’t disappoint me. Hospitality 💯
Love the environment — very cool and eclectic. Food was great! The tortilla soup dumplings were awesome! Went for restaurant week, so everything was a great value.
Not that anyone in this hospitality group wouldever care or attempt to change these things- but I had some big issues with my time at Vandal the other day. I booked this reservation for DRINKS ONLY. And even wrote that in my reservation notes. I said it was my friends birthday and the two of us were there for cocktail hour before dinner. This is a great example as to why the Hosts need to pay attention to their soignes. As we walked in, I spilled a bunch of toothpicks on the ground which honestly was hilarious because of course I would do that. The host watched me pick them up in complete silence, I certainly didn’t expect her to clean them for me but she didn’t acknowledge it or anything. No smile on her face, which again is like fine I guess? She just kind of seemed annoyed. Which listen accidents happen okay. So she took us over to our table and chatted to my friend, who said it was her birthday. As we were being seated I was taking my time to take off my 413 layers as it is winter, and the host refused to put down the menus claiming “I have to wait for you so I can push the table in.” Which was very awkward and again made me feel very much like an inconvenience. Finally we were seated and LITERALLY the only people in the dining room. Our server was VERY unhappy with us being in the dining room for only drinks and she explained she would move us to the bar. We explained we would only be there for 45 minutes and that the hosts were the ones to sit us here knowing our situation, but she said “I mean I guess I’ll take it but technically you’re only supposed to be in here if you’re eating.” So I decided not to waste my time and we went to the bar. The bartender was pleasant and probably only because he was more polite than the others we had encountered, not because he went above and beyond or something. The drinks were very over priced for nothing too astounding in the ingredients list. For two drinks and a tip I paid $46 for an honestly aggravating experience.
Food and drinks were out of this world. Service could’ve been a bit better. It was very busy for a Wednesday night but also it was restaurant week so understood. Will be back !
The environment is fun and creative, but our food was mediocre . It is presented nicely but the flavors are overdone. The scallops were cooked perfectly but the sauce surrounding them was way too heavy. It tasted like a smoked mayonnaise sauce that overpowered scallops. Our waiter was fine but fairly non interested in describing the food. My husband had a slider that he says was bitter.
We went for our monthly get together. The food was great service. The noise level was too much and the crowd was really young and obnoxious. But the space, the food and the service was great!
Wow, great food , vibe and people ...lovely service, will surely come back ;)
Had Reservation for 8pm on a Monday for dinner, showed up 7:45 and was quickly seated. Cool date spot, we ordered crispy cauliflower taco (vv nice if you like cauliflower), crispy barrio style chicken taquitos (generic chicken taquitos similar to those from trader joes you microwave), tortilla soup dumplings (vv good), NY pretzel steak tartare (not bad), Entrée we split the prime skirt steak medium rare (not overcooked, VV NICE) and for dessert we did a vandal smores ice cream. We also had four cocktails --> cocktail menu vvv good and I would come back just for drinks here. Our waiter was also top notch.
The ambiance was perfect for a night out with friends who want to be around energy. Music was perfect and service is second to none. Everything was very reasonably priced and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend it!
NOPE. Not impressed.
Food was dreadful and I mean dreadful. Overpriced and overrated. I had a salmon entree that was way, way overcooked and tasted only of wasabi. I got some excuse that it is new to the menu. Come on. You have to have taste tested it! The menu is limited, not at all interesting and is worse than airline food. SALTED to the hilt.
I had my daughter's 16th birthday here - just okay. Very difficult to find the cake order form and then you have to give a copy of your credit card (front and back) AND license AND call again and again to confirm receipt of it all.
The only good thing - the servers for our table and my daughter's birthday table were very good.
Don't waste your money or time.
Took our daughter there for her 6th birthday. Staff were very attentive and delivered a great atmosphere and great food. Will be back.
Was anticipating a good vibe at vandal and it did not disappoint plus the food was truly delicious.
Amazing service and excellent food. Never a disappointment
The atmosphere and venue itself is phenomenal. The food tasted great and the price was affordable.
Staff was amazing and the nicest I’ve come across
Once again food was amazing. Went for restaurant week and you get way more than what you pay for. The tortilla soup dumplings are so yummy!
Cool, eclectic ambiance. Food used to be amazing, not so much anymore. Is "instagrammy" an adjective yet? Because that's what Vandal is.
