Food was amazing. Too expensive though
Loved the food delicious.
Our visit to Maui included stays in Napili, Paia, Kihei and Hana. We dined at many, many locations and this was, BY FAR, THE ABSOLUTE BEST VALUE! Everything we tried from the menu was amazing and the prices were incredibly reasonable. I really hope they stay true to their form and don't change like so many great places do.
If you enjoy fresh, local food prepared with a thoughtfulness to complimentary flavors that are new and interesting, this is your place.
Wonderful romantic dinner. Seared ama ebi with caviar. Kauai prawns grilled with a spicy peanut sauce Devine. The som recommended some sake I had never heard of and took the rest of the bottle to go. Love this place. This is the best restaurant for foodies on the island. Bring a romantic date. Reasonable prices given the high quality and fine dining. We sat at the chefs table and watched the talented chefs. The ambiance and setting and food are all a 10.
With all the great places in Paia, sorry I wasted my time here
The food was good but small in portions considering $21 for eggs Benedict’s and part of the dish they ran out of however informed me that it was 86’d. The focaccia bread was a small square and really it took me a minute to realize it was there. Portions need to be a bit bigger not the The Cheesecake Factory type but bigger to make spending $21 on a single entree. I found that $10 for a small bottle of sparkling water was a lot as well but found out it was for two small bottles but wasn’t advertised on menu. The tables are a lot better and more comfortable seating. Signature Cocktails weren’t available for brunch so maybe make a different menu to reflect what you can order. Overall I’d recommend the restaurant to my friends who don’t mind spending $50 per person.
Service was friendly, but felt extremely rushed. All of our five dishes were delivered Within 15 minutes of sitting down. We were out of the restaurant within 30 mins. It felt like we were being rushed out? Despite being only the second table there. The food was good, but the whole experience was $100 USD for two, which when you consider we don’t drink alcohol, and that it was only a 20 minute meal - felt extremely steep.
The courtyard is small but lovely. You can watch the chefs cook in the outdoor kitchen. The fish was fresh but the plates were small and expensive for dinner. I highly recommend their everyday brunch menu. The gnocchi and Benedict’s were perfect.
Brought our family there before our flight back to the Bay Area. It was perfect and the staff happily accommodated our 10 month grandchild.
One of my favorite places on Maui, with an amazing wine list!
Sushi rolls were mushy, tasteless and poorly presented. Beer was warm. Service was ok. Restaurant floor and entry was soaking wet, slippery floors due to rain - with no attempt by the staff to make conditions safe. Rain was leaking around their makeshift awnings. Bad food, marginal atmosphere. I would never go back or recommend this restaurant.
Waitstaff was fantastic. Food was prepared perfectly and all was fresh and delicious.
Exceptional fine dining experience! Perfect service. Hanger steak with foie gras. Caviar. The seared salmon belly was the best we have ever had. We were 8 of us at the special monkey pod table and everyone said by far the best meal on Maui. Wine list impressive we had the best night drinking French wine while eating exquisite sushi on Maui.
Best brunch on Maui, hands down.
New hottest place on Maui to eat. Take your favorite date. Exceptional quality food, service and wine list.
Sushi beautifully prepared and presented. Wonderful cocktails.
The food is incredible. Best sushi and specialty items. Fois gras seared sushi. Yumm. Caviar sushi yum. The vana spoon is the best dish on island I’m sure it will win some award. Seared scallops. Yumm. This new place is set to be the best restaurant on the Island. Friendly staff and marble cocktail bar. Celebrities already hanging out.
Best Sushi on Maui
Best steak on Maui
Try Vana Spoon and sushi
Wine selection and craft cocktails are the best on Northshore.
We were looking for a place to eat after we landed in Maui. It was great to make reservations on Open Table. This was a perfect spot to enjoy Brunch/Lunch for our family.
Great food - wellness drinks have a real kick - cool outside patio and while not on the ocean you get the Paia vibe. Service was really good
We arrived hungry and caffeine deprived after viewing sunrise on nearby Haleakala and were greeted with genuine warmth and grace at the Paia Inn Café. The menu offered several delectable options; the food was fresh and well prepared; the outdoor dining area, while a bit unconventional in some of its features, was charming; and service was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. We four each ordered a different dish and were all quite pleased with our choices. We definitely recommend stopping here any time -- especially fresh off sunrise at Haleakala!
Service was awesome. Food presentation was nice, good portion, healthy and taste was excellent. French toast was the best and my partner liked his eggs Benedict.
Loved this cafe!! My family and I ate there there times on an 8 day trip. Fantastic
Good ambiance, good options, friendly staff
Pricey, fantastic food. Cozy breakfast/brunch vibe in lovely downtown Paia. The only real BUMMER, (and disclaimer: We have 4 dogs, an assortment of animals and my husband is a veterinarian) The owner's labradoodle was wet and dirty and running back and forth under all the tables hitting legs with it's fluff, dirty, wet tail and thrusting it's nose on legs. The entire meal. :( We complained nicely to the waitress but she couldn't do anything. I'm all for dog friendly establishments, but my breakfast platter was $19, matcha tea pricey etc... I could have done without the stinky wet dog touching my legs the entire time and not even getting the hint when it got a well placed shove. I can get that at home. :) To be fair, when we got home we saw the owner had refunded our meal on our card-- we refused and asked to be recharged. That wasn't the point, it would be nice to see them succeed and the food and service was fabulous-- just not the wet dog. Besides I don't think to was within health codes.
Excellent eggs Benedict. The hostess who sat us was a bit snobby. All the tables except one is bar high and uncomfortable. The low one sits empty for the owner who may show up. He or she didn't show when we were there. He or She must know the high tables are uncomfortable. The Chef was nice and food really good. This is an outside but shaded back of restaurant cafe. The hostess was snotty that we weee not hotel guests and could not go view the ocean. Not the custom Hawaiian welcoming personalities here.
Wonderful experience, delicious and beautiful food, decor is amazingly gorgeous, service was great! Only thing was I thought I notated that we were celebrating a birthday on the reservation but there was no mention of that at all during the meal or afterwards by the waitress.
A lovely hidden jewel in fun Pa'ia Town. Although I'm not a vegetarian, their non-meat options were delicious, full-flavored, unique and filling. I didn't miss the meat one bit.
Great service. I was seated quickly, great waitress, and food came out fast. However, the food was a little bland and overpriced.
First time ever eating at Paia Inn and I loved it. The atmosphere was calming and a nice setting. The food was also great but could use a bit more selection. And the coffee was delicious
Even with a reservation and an empty restaurant on an early Sunday morning, it was 10 minutes before the waitress even acknowledged our presence in passing our table. It took more than 5 more minutes before someone (not the waitress) took our order. The actual waitress did not come to take our order until 20 minutes after we'd been seated. She was perfectly friendly, but she appeared a bit over her head - overhearing conversations at other tables, she was not efficient in both taking the orders and dealing with multiple actions. The other waitstaff could clearly see she was overwhelmed, but offered no help.
When the food did come, it was boring and utterly bland. Now I know why they asked every table, "do you want ketsup or hot sauce?" Even with those, I'm not sure it would have helped.
This place is popular because it's one of very few places in Paia with outdoor seating and it sits directly on the main street. Aside from those two things, I see no reason this place would attract business. Given that it's a tourist town, they're aiming for one-time-stoppers. Good thing, as I can't imagine anyone wanting to return.
Paia is sorely lacking a great, casual, outdoor restaurant. Good food, drink, and atmosphere would attract great attention. Unfortunately, this is not the place.
Best Brunch ever!!!!!
Eggs Benedict yummmmmm
Huevos rancheros amazing

Love the ambiance of this European style outdoor cafe.
