Welcome to our new Van Winkle West End location, we look forward to welcoming you. We’ve sampled food all across the USA but our heart fell in love with the taste of classic BBQ and Grill dishes from Kentucky. Comfort food for the soul and incredible flavours.

All our food is locally sourced, using on the highest quality products and prepared fresh, in house at Van Winkle.

Lovely food, staff were warm and friendly, decor was inviting. We were sat next to 2 other live tables and next to the door (it was a little cold there), would have been better to have been placed at a more private table (as it gets busier that obviously changes but separation when space available should always be first choice). The mini plates and sides were better than the mains we got but the food was really good, but still argue overly priced for quality and portion size.

We asked to mov3 from our designated table as we were very close to a large party and could hear ourselves speak. New table was a high top with I don't normally like but the seats were very comfortable. Waiter was great remembered everything ordered without writing down. Food was very good. Onion rings a little on the greasy side but overall very happy with what we had. Great size portions. We had chicken wings macaroni and chicken burgers sides of dirty fries and Onion rings. Will definitely return. Great music and good atmosphere.

Had amazing food here. Went for a Sunday brunch/lunch. Every dish was perfect and the staff and atmosphere were brilliant. Try the chicken and waffles, you won’t regret it. Buffalo wings were also spot on. The guys serving us were really friendly and chatty. Can’t wait to return and try more on the menu, it all looked great.

We haven’t been in here since it became Van Winkle but happy to say the ambience is just as good as it was before! The staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. The food is the star of the show the excellent all round. Also loved the country tunes ♥️

Popped in on the way to a gig, barman was friendly and served us straight away , food order was quick and the food was fantastic, I had a beer and my wife had a cocktail which she said was very nice, if I lived locally I would be in there all the time

Service was amazing, Ashleigh (hope I'm spelling that right) was so lovely and attentive nothing was any bother. Food was great too! Highly recommend the corn dogs and 4 roses bourbon was delish! And got to pet cute dogs! So we will definitely be back

Comfortable seats, friendly staff. Pulled pork burger was delicious as was the bacon cheeseburger. Enjoyed a cocktail as well. Reasonable price and, apart from a bit of a noisy table on the other side of the restaurant, a pleasant environment and dining experience.

Our server was very good, always cleared out empty drinks and asked if we wanted another one. Also moved us to a bigger table when one was free which was nice. Ordered the hell burger challenge which said you’d get a photo on the wall of fame when finished. I cleared my plate but wasn’t asked to do a photo : ( disappointing! The burger was great though! Unfortunately my girlfriends food came cold but didn’t send it back as we did wait some time for our food to come, we were starving at that point! The bar was pretty full when we arrived but by the time we left it was very quiet but for some reason the waitress decided to sit at the table next to us and started drying wet cutlery and throwing them inside with the others very loudly! Really not the place to do it and there were plenty other empty tables away from customers that she could have done it at. My partner and I couldn’t even hear one other and the noise was going through us!! Great to try the challenge, disappointing not to go on the wall of fame and the cold food and loud inappropriate noise, don’t think we will be back.
