   Loved this place!! So underrated for brunch and coffee. The staff were all so so kind and welcoming and the food was insanely delicious and generous portions. Will definitely be my new regular!

   It was a wet, cold morning but staff were helpful and friendly and served us very enthusiastically. I was able to have a blanket later in the time as it turned quite cold. Lovely new staff member was fabulous at checking information about a dish for me due to an allergy. Very much appreciated.

   A lovely way to spend a rainy morning, enjoying the fabulous surroundings, great breakfast and coffee and warm and friendly service.

   Beautiful place to dine or coffee - the cakes were quite pricey - with no prices shown - but didn’t take away from our morning. Staff are friendly and attentive.

   Getting quite expensive to enjoy lunch there. Sorry to say I probably won’t be back any time soon. Food is great as always. Just very expensive

   We had to wait 45 minutes for our food. We had to ask twice about when it would arrive. Dirty utensil, only forks provided as knives still in dishwasher. Then we we had to get our own when our food arrived. Disappointing staff not able to pre-empt customer needs. (We understand it was a public holiday). However, the food was enjoyable.

   Met up with some old friends today at van loons. So upset and disappointed. A table next to us had 14 kids. All yelling and running around non stop for the entire time. Couldn’t hear or talk to my friends. Really disappointed and sadly won’t be back. The food was lovely and the service good but this should never have happened. Felt sorry for the staff as they couldn’t do anything!

   Met with friends who were retiring to Queensland for farewell dinner. Food, venue, service etc ok. Terrible shock when we got the bill. Over $200 for lunch with only one glass of wine. One of the party was a teen. The surcharge, whilst l agree with it was not reasonable. Over $40. I must say it was on Good Friday. However it was the only place l could find open. Went back to find out if the bill was right the next day. I was slightly overcharged and got a small amount back. I guess patrons beware, my error for not checking it all out. Online menu prices were out of date by two years and no prices available for cakes. A vanilla slice $10. Won’t return.

   Great!! Loved it! Food was perfect for brunch/lunch. Service was slower than I would like but could have just been a busy day. I’ll be back in a heartbeat thanks Van Loons!

    Food is always very good. Plenty of choices and good value for money. Staff are always helpful and friendly and service is quick. Highly recommend it.
