I've spent alot of time in Italy, the pizza that I had was the most authentic pizza from Rome that I've had from anywhere in all the places thar I've had pizza in The USA

The table we were seated at was too small to be comfortable for dining. We felt very crowded and restrained, especially with 2 water glasses, a huge wine glass, and a mocktail glass, plus the regular table settings. The noise level is also an issue especially for us “older folks”.

A surprising excellent restaurant in a Hilton Garden Inn. Shocked me. Very nice design attention to detail. Entire Staff I observed smiling and joking with each other, the mark of a great management and Restaurant. my food was excellent well served. I poked you up perfectly cooked and Great sides. One of the better restaurants have been in for a long time.

The food, service, and cocktails are top notch. Always a friendly greeting and willingness to help with menu options. The lobby, restaurant, and outdoor seating are very comfortable and well designed. We are grateful to have Van Acres so close to home.

I’ve been here a few times while in Wausau for business and all I can say is that I would put this place in the “hidden gems” category!!! Food is delicious, interesting menu with a great selection, the bar is great too!

This was our first dining experience in Wausau. Van Acre's was recommended by the staff at Courtyard. It was a great recommendation. We arrived a few minutes early, so we waited in the lobby. When our table was ready, they seated us at a table for two with a busy walkway beside us. It was also noisier than we desired. We asked to be moved and the manager checked to see if a booth would become available. We waited just a few minutes and had a great experience. Our waitress, who was engaged, was outstanding. She was pleasant and offered great recommendations. She was attentive, but not hovering. Everyone made this dining experience wonderful. We both had the tomahawk pork chop which was very good and highly recommended.

Literally every aspect of our experience this past weekend was incredible. From service to food...all perfection. Clearly strong leadership, as they worked well as a team. Both Carly and Marsha took such great care of us! Will be back many more times!
