Food was great. Best steak ever thanks.
The food was PHENOMENAL! The staff was kind and the serving sizes were large.
We've been customers for over 5 years. The menu has recently changed, and we were missing our favorites. But everything we ordered was delicious. A little more expensive than usual, but that's understandable. There is a seafood pizza on the menu for $95. I asked the waitress if this was a mistake, but she said that it wasn't. I asked her how much seafood is actually on the pizza for that price and she said that she didn't know because she's never seen one. Anyhow, they seem to be following all of the CDC protocols, service was excellent, food was delicious. Well worth it after not eating in a restaurant for more than a year.
Steaks were prepared according to our requests and were excellent. Neither of us are fond on asparagus and would have appreciated an alternative.
Not what it used to be. Chicken Saltimbocca was highly recommended by our waiter. Chicken, a bunch of diced potatoes and a bland brown sauce dominated the plate. Artichoke appetizer was 2 small pieces albeit tasty. Overall a definite disappointment.
Thank you for your feedback. I sincerely apologize for the bad experience you had with us on your most recent visit. We take great pride in any product we serve and are taking your issues very seriously. We hope you can trust us again some day, and hope to prove that we are what we used to be and more. If you would like to reach out to us and let us prove that to you please don't hesitate. -Chef Josiah Henry
Food was good, but the prices were on the high end.
Very nice atmosphere. Elegant but not stuffy. Food was beyond delicious.
very good two times in three weeks but open table did not give points because they did not open until 4:00 made reservation at 2:00 went their to be told won't open till4 but went back told them to make sure that open table be informed of their mistake I really like open table sorry
Jeffrey is the best waiter ever!
everything was delish chef made veal chop perfect Have not been here four years but it won't be four this time
We are long time diners at Vallozzis's. We have been going there for over 20 years. I have to say they never disappoint. This meal was absolutely fantastic and during a time of covid the thought and attention to detail was exceptional.
First the young lady who was our server was knowledgable, friendly, willing to advice us on menu choices and efficient without being pushy or making us feel rushed.
Mac has been a long time bartender and his cocktails never disappoint. My lemon drop martini was exceptional! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Manhattan.
We started with the romano artichokes which were delicious. The aioli underneath them was absolutely delicious. Then we went on to Helen's salad which was a nice blend of spring greens and simple ingredients. Their house Italian was fine, but I wished I would have remembered to ask for their creamy balsamic which is amazing.
My husband had the porcini mushroom ravioli which was topped with a beef ragu sauce. The portion size was huge. However, my husband it a tall guy and hadn't eaten lunch so he was quite pleased. I had the sea bass special. I was reluctant to try it because in the past I've had sea bass that was underdone (even wet) and that is something I simply do not like. Our server promised me I wouldn't be disappointed and I most certainly was NOT. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection on top of a delicious artichoke & zucchini risotto. Some of the best risotto I have ever eaten.
Rarely if ever do I order dessert, but Vallozzi's has some of the best cannoli which I just had to splurge on. I enjoyed every calorie!!
Only one complaint - we are wine drinkers and their wine menu has been greatly diminished. I'm sure covid comes into play and I understand. Their wines by the glass list is actually better than their wines by the bottle. This worked out well for us this time based on our dinner choices. Vallozzi's stands the test of time! KUDOS!
Vallozzi's consistently provides the highest quality cuisine.
An absolutely perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. It was the first time I went there and I would love to come back. The food is a little pricy compared to other restaurants at glance, but it is well worth it for what you get. Me and my date had a lovely meal with an appetizer, drinks, and dessert. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful in deciding what to order. The atmosphere was wonderful and everybody was friendly. The valet parking was also pleasant. I couldn’t have had a better experience and I look forward coming again in the future!
Outstanding food, great atmosphere and staff.
Always enjoy my time at Valozzi’s. Great food, good service, and the ambience is second to none. Truly a Greensburg treasure.
Great service and good was delicious as always!
Food and service always great. We will definitely return again.
Good food! Worth every penny! Wonderful true Italian food.
From the appetizers to the chocolates for dessert everything was delicious. Staff was fantastic with great recommendations. We will return soon!
Very nice overall
Great service, delicious food, very friendly with our children. Valet service was an unexpected bonus! Highly recommend!
Great dinner with great service.. our favorite place to eat
Service and dessert were the two big downers of the evening.
Other than stopping to deliver our meals, our server was largely missing. We had long periods of time with empty drink glasses. Never offered bread.
Arancini for the appetizer course were great. My wife had the crab stuffed lobster tail, which she enjoyed. The red sauce on my chicken parmesan was great. We both had cannoli for dessert. They were hard, overdone, and seemed almost stale. My wife’s barely had any filling.
The scallops, lobster and shrimp with rizzuto was awesome.
Area where we were seated was to cold. Had to put on jackets, which took away from the evening. Also, no toilet paper in ladies bathroom area. Never a good thing!
Love your restaurant, a little disappointed for a "Special Valentines Occasion"
Always a treat to dine here when in the area. Delicious Food, Excellent Service and Awesome wine list.
Food choices are good, it is at an accessible location for the area, and they have some nice accommodations for a several occasions.
Attractive, although dated, atmosphere, and excellent service. Food was good but pasta sauce lacked flavor, had to ask for more vinegarette for my salad and prices were too high. Downtown Pittsburgh prices but not in downtown Pittsburgh. $28 to $30 for chicken and pasta, side salad an extra $7, small glass of wine $11 and small piece of cheesecake $9. Spent $100 for two chicken and pasta dinners, one glass of wine, one dessert and tax and tip. Could have gotten the same meal at other nice Italian restaurants for $60 to $70.
The food was fantastic.
The waiter Abe was very attentive. The food was excellent.
Place is nice. A little. Dated. The dining area was cold. People were commenting on the temperature overall good
Met with friends there for lunch. Service was good. Salad was excellent with a good amount of Gorgonzola cheese. Disappointed in the salmon, which was of poor quality and very simply prepared, almost unseasoned. The risotto with mushrooms was good - except the mushrooms ere undercooked. We have eaten at Vallozzi’s for many many years, this was the first time I was ever disappointed in their food. I liked the place enough that I am willing to give them another chance.
Fantastic restaurant and food. Grilled octopus was the best!
This is our go to and favorite place to enjoy our weekend meal out. The lounge has great atmosphere, lively yet classy. The service is outstanding and the drinks are the best (they have the best bartender-Mack). Jennifer and Molly are our fave servers. The pizza is the best around. A little pricey but it’s worth it to have this gem in our hometown to really look forward to a night out!
The salmon was perfectly prepared. One of the best meals I've had in a long time.
New Year's Eve would seem not a good time to judge a restaurant and yet everything was first rate. Food, wine, service all excellent. Probably even better when not so very busy but hard to imagine just how.
Found New Years menu to be truncated - although we were told when reservations were made that the full menu would be available.
Pgh's was posted online - couldn't find Greensburg's listed anywhere in advance.
Each year this seems to be the case.
Each year we keep coming back !
Horrible service, and the food was terrible. This place has gone downhill.
Great food and service
