Took a friend here for the Bourbon selection. He was blown away by the choices and amazed by the food!
Such an awesome ambiance. From the hostesses to the servers and managers- what a welcoming and accommodating staff. Everyone was so kind. The atmosphere is upscale yet relaxed.
Great waiter Mike. Excellent food. A bit noisy atmosphere. Appreciate chef making our fave cauliflower appetizer!! Always a good experience.

First time we ate inside. Very noisy, nothing special. Festive crowd though. Bartenders are too busy to be cordial and do their job well. We really just go there for the outdoor ambiance which is excellent. Servers are always very good. What it lacks in food it makes up for in outdoor ambiance and great servers.
Only issue was the noise hard to talk, but the Food was fabulous.
Exposed kitchen is loud
We always love this restaurant! We had family in town from Atlanta and blew them away with the brisket. It was a nice evening even after the tough loss of a loved one. Thank you valley smoke!
We really enjoy the appetizers and entree's at this restaurant and like that there is a different take on some of the dinners. We had the cauliflower with thai chili sauce for an appetizer and it was very good.
The cauliflower was tender and the sauce was sweet; it could have used a touch of spiciness. I ordered a combo dinner of ribs and brisket. They were both extremely fork tender and was flavored well.
Unfortunately, we have never had much luck with the desserts here. This time I ordered the strawberry brulee' with chantilly creme, which was the special, and my friend ordered the hummingbird cake. After several minutes, the waitress advised me that the kitchen did not inform the servers that they were out of the strawberry brulee'. I did not order any other dessert. I did try the hummingbird cake my friend had ordered and it was lacking in flavor, which was also a problem with the desserts we ordered the last time we dined here. The cake was very cold and may have tasted better if it was at, or near, room temperature. I will say the icing on the cake was delicious. It was very light tasting and not overly sweet. We will continue to eat here for dinner but we will definitely be skipping the desserts.

Great atmosphere, beautiful location on the inter coastal waterway. Food was great, and waiters were super attentive and nice. Nice big parking lot and valet parking available.
My family went for Sunday brunch. Everything was delicious, service was top notch, the view was beautiful. A great value and a lovely environment.
Disappointing that large groups aren’t very welcomed but the ambience and food made it all worthwhile. If you are doing a big group, probably not the ideal location but otherwise amazing.
Family dinner for my daughter’s 17th birthday. Had a party of 8 & loved that we were at a round table so we were able to talk with everyone. Wish more places did this. Food was amazing! Only negative was they were a little short staffed due to sick staff being sent home, so service a tad slow. Other than that a fantastic experience!
Definitely need a reservation on a Saturday night, the food is great and their bourbon/whiskey/scotch collection is very good. We had a party of 12 so I was worried about orders and checks being understandably incorrect but everything came out perfect. We will definitely be back
Packed on Friday evening at 6:30. Reservation honored and seated on time. Only one server for our area and she was not well supported with bussers, etc. She did a good as well as she could under the circumstances. By the time we left, another server had appeared. All hard surface interior made it very noisy throughout. Parking was a problem by the time we left. Exit lane blocked by abandoned cars waiting to be valeted. The food was good and plentiful. Not a small bite kind of place. Not one of our table of 6 could finish their order. Clearly a popular, trendy place deep in Ponte Vedra.
Glad we had a reservation, even at 6:15- the place was packed! Such good food, loved the brisket, shrimp and pasta and vermillion redfish special. When we left, there were 30 people awaiting seating- they are doing well-

Heard this place was good so invited few friends and had an early dinner. Everything that we and the people at our table tried was excellent. Our Waiter (Kale, I think that is how you spell it) who took over for someone who was late to work was the best. We will probably be asking to sit in his area next time. He did not miss a thing while waiting on eight of us and it looked like the entire section we were at. We will definitely be going back and taking anyone new who wants to try it.
Our first experience was absolutely amazing. We will be back often! The server was so knowledgeable about every detail on the menu. The food was outstanding. We had the snapper special, which had such great flavor. We also had the brisket which just blew our minds. Simply exceptional!
Great food, generous portions (you will take some home), good spirits and wine selections, very popular so you will need reservations even for lunch but worth the drive.

We had ribs. They were very good, very tender, and flavorful. I also enjoyed trying the different sauces. The green beans and bacon were outstanding. The grilled broccoli, not so much. It was charred, and had a pretty bad taste. Put them on a griddle with butter and I think they would be better. In my opinion, throwing them on an open grill is a bad idea. I was impressed with the whiskey wall. If it had been a nice day, I would have also enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the boats go by. 4 out of 5.
Had a party of 7, we all enjoyed it very much. Next time i will remenber to ask that the brisket be sliced thin not thick like it was.
This is a go to place for a relaxed informal dinner. There is a cool country vibe to Smokes with an extensive menu. My wife enjoyed the venison and my steak was cooked to perfection. If you like bourbon you will feel like you have landed in Nirvana. Try the Taylor’s brand which is excellent without breaking the bank.
We really enjoyed the poutine and the brisket. The creamed corn was very good. The mashed potatoes were just so so as well as the drinks. We really liked the chocolate cake at the end. If you sit outside the gnats can be annoying.
It’s my new favorite place. I love sitting at the bar, and yesterday we sat outside for lunch and watched the boats go by. You will not be disappointed
Enjoyed the beet salad and the deviled eggs with my group. They also enjoyed the BBQ beef and the brisket. The yucca chips are to die for! Sat outside and enjoyed the water view! We will be back!
We scheduled a table for New Year's Eve, and had a great view of the water outside. We both ordered the snapper, one was a special entree, the other was on the menu and they were both delicious. We shared a bottle of wine, had appetizers, entree and dessert. The wait service with Brady was excellent.
This was our first visit. The restaurant is so attractive. Our waitress was outstanding! Food different, but good. We did come away smelling of smoke: no surprise! The bar is lovely and the selection of bourbons

You'll never have BBQ anywhere else again! The brisket was moist, flavorful and just amazing with no sauce. The ribs were beyond anything I've ever tasted. I wanted to try all the sauces but they were so good that I didn't want to change the flavor. The service was really great despite how incredibly busy they get. What an amazing dinner!!!!!
We have been to Valley Smoke on multiple occasions, this place never disappoints. This time we brought some out of town visitors and they loved it. One of them was even a vegetarian, she was impressed with the Wood Grilled Cauliflower Steak and fried green tomatoes. Meat entrees, always delicious, my favorite is the brisket, it is melt in your mouth good. The service is always excellent, servers and very knowledgeable about the dishes and cocktails. More upscale than most BBQ but it's menu is worth it, we will be back many more times!
