The Valley Restaurant brings a European feel to Niagara dining. Tucked away on a quiet street in north St. Catharines close to Niagara-on-the-Lake this trattoria style restaurant serves homemade Italian inspired cuisine. Everything is made in house from the fresh baked bread, fresh pastas and sauces, gelato and incredible desserts. The menu includes veal, seafood, steak, a variety of pasta dishes including gnocchi, lasagne, ravioli. There is a full cocktail menu and fabulous wine list including local and imported selections. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a large fireplace, intimate tables, white linen tablecloths and impeccable service.

    One of my very favourite places to enjoy a beautiful and delicious meal and or to celebrate a special occasion. Yes it is considered pricey but well worth it. You get more than what you pay for. Highly recommend.

    The Valley is one of our favourite restaurants in Niagara and last night's meal was truly on of our best yet! The special was lobster ravioli and they were delicious as were the pistachio crusted scallops. As always, Nadia stopped by our table to make sure everything was to our liking. The entire staff is pleasant, professional and so engaging. It is the place to go for all our special occasions.

    This was my first time trying Valley Restaurant and it was amazing! I don't get much time off work, and as such me and my partner don't get to go out often. I wanted to do something special and I've heard good things about Valley so I thought setting up a date night would be sweet and it was! The aesthetic of the restaurant is very natural and cozy (I enjoyed the table lamp having different brightness settings), the service was both swift and courteous and the food was absolutely delicious - I recommend the lasagne! I'm definitely looking forward to eating here again in the future.

    Valley is normally my go to for fine dining. However my experience was hit and miss, this time around. The pasta was delicious , my whipped ricotta/vegetables was cold, didn't look freshly prepared. Our server was amazing! The coffee was barely lukewarm. 3/5 for this visit.

    We have been dining at the Valley for over 50 years. A family favorite. Love that Nadia kept the same type of integrity with adding her touch. We are not exotic or adventurous in our meals and truly appreciate that our go to's are still offered and excellent!

    Always great service and food. Can be a little noisy as it is a small space that fills up quickly. However overall one of our favorites!

    We have been here a few times and we are NEVER disappointed. It's always delicious, authentic Italian food and a great atmosphere. Not too stuffy, but still great for special occasions or any occasion.
