Really interesting Mexican food. A park of five we sampled all the small plates and each of us had a favorite. Tlayudos also innovative and tasty. Great margaritas and cocktails.

We had booked a reservation through open table and still had to wait over an hour to be seated. After the wait, they tried to seat us at the bar immediately by the door which was cold and drafty. I didn’t accept and asked for a proper table which they did eventually provide. While the staff were very polite, the overbooking and lack of care for a reservation means I am unlikely to ever come back. We were offered cocktails while waiting, but even with the ridiculous wait there was no offer to comp the round of drinks. To be clear: the food, ambiance and wait staff were all fantastic. But the wait made for a terrible first impression…

Perfect choice for our weeknight get-together with friends. The patio vibe was just what we wanted, and the Oaxacan food was amazing. We craved something different and the cuisine here is delightfully so. Excellent carne asada plus refreshing hibiscus drinks plus awesome location equal superb casual summer dining!

Some dishes are awesome, some are meh.. fish taco, tomato salad, Japanese’s yams, eggplant salad, Valle tequila - amazing! Not too excited about the mushroom mole and few unmemorable others. The experience would have been better if we didn’t have to wait 1:30hr for a table even though we had a reservation. But the good tequila got us chill and relaxed. They pack a 25% service charge to the bill no matter what type service you got. The place is really busy on a Wednesday night. Overall good experience, hopefully they get better with organization.

The food was excellent and our waiter was great. However, we waited 45 minutes past our reservation time to be seated, and we were not alone. This restaurant does not seem to understand the concept of reservations and must be double booking them. Our waiter informed us that this happens all the time and he has waited on tables that had a reservation but still waited for a table 90 minutes past their reservation time. Additionally, the hostess offered us drinks while we wait for a table, implying that they would be free because of the wait, and they ended up on our bill later. I would like to return here because of the food, ambiance, and waiter, but the extreme wait times even with a reservation will probably deter me.

food was amazing. service was good, but they don't honor reservation times so we ended up waiting 40 minutes for our 7:30 dinner reservation. they did comp a margarita for our wait, but apparently this is a common issue. the waiter told us some people wait 2 hours for their reservation time?? sounds like a management issue that needs to be fixed.

Everything was yummy!! The squash blossom quesadilla was super tasty. Also had the tlayuda with the pork (and asked to add nopales); cauliflower; and pork adobo tacos. The outdoor seating upstairs was so pleasant, and Isaiah was a great server. Note that they add a tip to the bill. Definitely will come back again.

Came to celebrate my first wedding anniversary brunch with my husband. Food took a very long time to come and when it did, my entree was wrong. Took too long to bring me my correct entree and I lost my appetite by then and we decided to leave. Super disappointed.

The food was amazing but service was not. We went for lunch and it was not busy at all yet we had to be calling our server over as he was not being attentive at all. Also, this place is definitely not kid friendly. I tried to order the chicken tacos for my 7 year old son and asked for no salsa but I was told changes/modifications to the menu are not allowed. I honestly don’t understand how hard it is for me to ask for no salsa on 2 tacos. My husband and I enjoyed our meals. Bummer because we were hoping to make this our to fo to place for our family.

Great food but not worth the 30 minute wait on the street past our 7:30 reservation or the 30 minute wait for the over-priced margaritas once seated (delicious but mostly mix with a decided lack of tequila). No wonder there's an included 20% mandatory service charge as who would tip for subpar service. Horribly run with indifferent & poorly trained staff. An offer of drinks or at the very least an acknowledgement by the dare I say hostess of the unavailability of a table would have mitigated the ill-will. Too many finely run restaurants in the area as an alternative to Valle to get me to go back.

I was very very very disappointed by my dining experience. Our food came out very slow and they kept saying the kitchen was backed up but the restaurant was no longer packed and tables around us were getting food. The food was bland and unexciting. There was no taste to the tacos. Pork belly was lackluster. Octopus was boring. Cauliflower was basic. The rice was the most flavorful. Vegan quesadilla was ok. I was really disappointed. The server did apologize and took a dish off the menu but he wasn’t attentive until we brought it to his attention how late our food was coming, meanwhile everyone else was getting served. Mind you our reservation was on the later side, so the kitchen being backed up, I find hard to believe. It’s really a shame.

While our food was delicious, the service wasn't particularly kind, timely or helpful. We were a party of 5 and we ended up spending around $220+ for the meal, which was a splurge for us. Despite paying this kind of money, what separated our experience at Valle from being a top-tier dining excursion was our waiter, who said to our faces that we "would not be receiving a free dessert just because it was someone in our party's birthday." (shrug?). It was unnecessary and frankly rude. We came to Valle to celebrate our friend and have a good time, but in the end, our waiter tarnished this experience.

If you order the Falda Rosa it's the perfect drink if you are trying to keep it light on the drinking. I love mescal! Guacamole and chips are so delicious. We order the Vegan Tlayuda and the Barbacoa so rich in flavor, definitely recommend!

Totally… underwhelming. Reservation was at 7:30. We waited outside until 8PM to be sat. Had to ask for our server 3 separate times (once to order drinks, again to order apps, and then again to order dinner). The drinks were excellent. The ceviche and pork belly tacos were a highlight. The bill included a 20% gratuity that was hardly deserved, but the ambiance of the upstairs rooftop was nice. Had to try it, but was overall a disappointing experience. I’ll stick to Nueva down the street instead.
