Our seating times are 11am & 1pm. Reservations are Required.

Chefs Nate Davis & Dustin Valette showcase the culinary bounty of Sonoma County and pair perfectly the award winning Valette Wines. This was a special event at the Mathewson. Chef Dustin Valette and his team provided a stimulating tour of the Healdsburg farmers market, a genial introduction to local producers, an outstanding demonstration of the preparation of each of the three courses for lunch, and five Valette wines selected to pair with the meal. Simply fabulous!

Dustin and the Valette staff have done it again!! What an amazing Pick Up event. No detail was spared. The Food. The Wine. The Service! And the extra unexpected touches! The Olive oil and the Tomato plant, complete with recipe!! You guys are the best! Yum Yum.

Rooftop 106 is comfortable, elegant and relaxed at the same time. Dustin Vallette’s food is consistently wonderful. The wine pickup parties are among the best.

Event was too crowded. Food was OK as well as the wine. if the entire top floor was dedicated to the event rather than just a portion it would have been much better. Maybe staging the time people were allowed to attend it would have been better. Also the way the tables were arranged made it impossible to sit in a middle location if people were occupying an end of table location.

The Valette Wines experience was great. Started with coffee, pastries and a little Sauv Blanc. We walked around the farmers market with Dustin, who knows everyone. Learned and tasted what's fresh in the middle of October. Went back to The Matheson for an amazing demonstration, and enjoyed a four course lunch paired with Valette Wines. Chef has partnered with a star studded group of winemakers to produce a superb array of wines, available at reasonable price points for the value. Go for the food, go for the wine, go for the experience.

This was a lovely and interesting experience. 30 mins of sau blanc, stories and intros. One hour walking with Dustin around the Farmers' Market and getting info on foods. A first-class lunch with great wines back at the restaurant while Dustin showed how the dishes were made. The only issue was that we were seated farthest from the cooking demo table. And, while Dustin did his best to speak up, and came around to show the finished dish, it was hard to hear and see what was being said and done. Get up closer!

Excellent wine made to go with food. Wonderful way to get to try Vallette’s array of wines, including the 100-point Cab!The“nibbles” were so good and actually were enough for a full lunch. Nick and MacKenzie were friendly, knowledgeable and low-pressure hosts, making it very enjoyable experience.
