    Food took long, and when it came it was cold and not flavorful. The one nice thing is that they bright out the chicken strips for our kid first.

    Food wasn’t bad just not a lot of flavor. Garlic rice was very bland. Couple with us found a hair in their food and I was super disappointed with how the manager reacted and treated this situation. Probably will not eat there again.

    The Torta was on a weird roll and the steak was cold. Not very flavorful. Could have gotten a better torta at the corner Mexican restaurant. The Caesar Salad was lackluster. My wife loved the Salmon. The atmosphere is great though and got an easy reservation.

    We were British hotel guests for 5 days and ate here for breakfast and dinner every day. The staff are fantastic - each of them went the extra mile and were personable and very efficient. We both have dietary needs and the staff went out of their way to adapt the food and the way it was cooked to suit our needs - this is so valuable to us. Not the cheapest in the area, but for us, it was worth the money. Thank you.

    I enjoy going to new restaurants especially after they have been open for a few months. I was excited to try out this place. The potential for this place to be on my list of local restaurants was better than average. I have had a food allergy my entire life. I always make it a point to call a new restaurant in advance. I called Valencia’s and I asked if they could accommodate me. They said yes, and then I set up my reservation. My party is loving the atmosphere and furnishings. We wondered why it was so dead. Literally, there was only 1 person eating on a Friday night. We are seated menus come out and I let my server know about my allergy. He leaves and comes back with we CANNOT serve you. What? I called in like I have done 100’s of times before. Bummed out. The manager comes over and says let me see what we can do. After 20 mins, the manager says we can make some changes. We order and 45 minutes later and several tortilla chips and salsa later… we get served. Up to this point, I was hoping the food would be great. All the other obstacles thus far have sucked but we were trying to make the best of it. Well, the guacamole came out and it was 4 ounces and it looked like it was a few hours old and bitter. Then the rest of the dishes came out and the common response was underwhelming. My taco dish supposedly made fresh was not so it missed the mark. My wife got a quesadilla and all the cheese was not melted. My daughter got a hamburger that was too big with pretty good fries… the beers were nice and cold. The potential for success at this place is huge. I think the reason why our visit was so poor, the menu is too big for the staff they have in the kitchen. They should cut down the menu by half. I think our visit was poor however I think they have the potential to be a good place where locals would visit…. They just have to work on the food… quit trying to make it a foodie restaurant and just make some real Mexican food & success will yours..

    Nice looking restaurant and the service was good, but the food was a super disappointment. Super duper small portions and extremely salty. Best part of the meal was these homemade tortillas which you are only given two. Again, nice staff…. But the food was a big fat zero.

    I must start by saying what great service experience had. We started with the guacamole and chips and my son who does not eat avacados, ate this dip. So that says alot. Great Drinks and Carne asada!! Love the ambiance too!!

    Oh man, where to start. We made a reservation later in the evening and when we arrived, the host wasn’t as friendly, she was short with us. Anyways, we got seated and the waiters were really friendly and attentive. We ordered two orders of chips, salsa and guac. The guac was great, but they gave us 6-7 pieces of chips in a small plate. We asked to get a refill and they said it’s $6 for chips. Like what? We’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant where they gave us a small plate of chips and a full bowl of salsa left. Ridiculous. We also ordered two ceviche plate, a salad, two burgers with fries and two Campechano tacos. Fries were uncooked and the tacos were all fat. It was oily and fatty, took one bite of it and it was just bad. We all lost our appetite at that moment, we didn’t want to replace the tacos but tried to finish eating the fries that they had to redo. For all this, it was about $200, it was definitely not worth it. We could’ve gone to Javier’s for a better experience.

    It’s in the new hotel (The Viv hotel, part of Marriott). Very good Mexican style dishes, fresh ingredients with good execution. Good volume and quality. Their churros is a must try!
