We were sitting down for over 30mins before I finally had to ask for a waitress. 56 min before we even received drinks. Place was not busy, so the wait was ridiculous
The food and the server couldn’t have been better - not much of a selection but they have an amazing steak dinner. For only being at limited capacity, the service was extremely slow. It took 15 minutes for the server to recognize us and take our drink order, then the food took over 30 minutes, plus dessert we were in there over an hour. I understand the resort is extremely understaffed due to the fact that people are making more by staying home and collecting the unemployment stimulus, but it’s time to get back to work. Stop hiding behind covid, stop being lazy, and stop wasting our tax dollars - the service industry is suffering.
Food awful worst coffee was cold and very overpriced!!
I had a party if 8 and we enjoyed our meal and was very satisfied. Our server was great as well! I will come back
Very busy and short staffed. We got seated and waited 15
Min before anyone came over. Food was good.
Overall, our experience was pretty good. Our favorite things were the chicken wings, fries and the desserts.
Good food. However a bit overpriced for what you get.
Service is spread thin. Our server had tables inside and out and did not follow up after food delivered. Food did not live up to the price. Gratuity is included which is not a bad thing but with such poor service it should not be included.
Over priced and I would equate it to Disney food quality. So not great.
The service was excellent. The food was subpar at best and the alcohol selection was limited.
Horrible service. We waiting 20 minutes just for a waitress to come and take our drink orders. The buffet mentioned an omelette station, but that had to be ordered through the waitress, who was MIA when we finally got food, no silverware or straws, waitress seemed annoyed. We ended up walking out. The food was also horrible and we found a hair in our food.
Easter brunch was very busy. We didn’t get service until a good 30 minutes after we were seated. Food was good but cold.
Horrible place. Didn’t even get acknowledged by a waiter for 20 minutes. It took another 20 to get our drinks. The Easter buffet was complete garbage. For $35 a head it completely sucked! Worst service and food I have ever had.
Went for an Easter “brunch” and it was the worst one we have been to! $87 for two adults and all I had were cold, frozen tasting mini waffles with mushy chicken tenders (chicken n waffles), mediocre fruit platter, sausage, bacon, store bought, dried out “pastries” eggs, and the lunch items I guess was supposed to be the ham and shrimp n grits. Food was mediocre. Our waitress didn’t explain the details to us or even that we had the option to order an omelet with her. I honestly could have had a better breakfast at the Cracker Barrel and paid 3x less.
Food was great and the kids loved seeing the Easter bunny!
This restaurant was nice to eat at during our stay the resort. No driving. Good ambiance and it was great food and atmosphere.
Limited menu, nothing special. Unfortunately, it's the only place to eat here! So, we're disappointed over the food.
Brunch with the Easter bunny was extremely over priced. Food and coffee were cold. Only good thing was nice waitress
Food was delicious. Pricey but good. The live music was awesome.
The Resort as a whole leaves alot to be desired. They are severely short staffed, and they have not worked through their processes. Once seated, I did not receive a greeting from the wait staff. Often, others were seated after me, but greeted and served before me. Observantly, this also happened to several other patrons. Additionally, the tables need to be replaced. They look dirty even after cleaning. Overall, my experience does not compel me to return.
From service to food to price to people sitting in wet swim suits. not what i expect to see if i’m paying $30 for a steak. then we ordered fajita bar. when everyone else’s meal arrived , they sold us the fajita bar was closed so they decided to bring us out a plate of dried up chicken from the left over closed fajita bar. Gross. 3 people working at the desk twirling their thumbs idle. An absolute disgrace of a restaurant.
Atmosphere was great; love the live music! Food was good.
We did not keep this reservation as the day before we had eaten there at lunch time at a time when it was not that busy. It was myself and my two grandsons for a simple sandwich and spaghetti first of all they charged me for two spaghetti meals and I only ordered one and we had to wait for over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. People that came in after us were served prior to us and I truly feel the my order was forgotten until I mentioned it. Sitting there with two young boys for over 30 minutes who want to go swim was very stressful.
We got pasta Alfredo it was good it wasn’t the best I had I’ve had but it was good
Waited 30 minutes for drinks, greeted at the table by the manager, who did apologize after 20 minutes of not being recognized. Very understaffed and inattentive. Food was good after waiting an hour with hungry kids. They did bring orange slices to the table when my husband asked for bread or something to hold the kids over. Would not return.
The food was good we had the eggs, choice of meat, with potatoes. My son loved his Belgium waffles w powder sugar. Service was not so great. Couldn't be seated outside hostesses said needed larger tables for bigger parties eventhough it was parties of 2 seated. No table separation. I believe parties should be dining every other seat or booth. People was too close on the busy environment. Waitress was overwhelmed so I can understand her frustration but not very polite. Service could have been better for $50 plus breakfast...
I was seated indoors but they moved me outside when I informed them that there is where I requested through the app. Not sure how long we sat there until a waitress came to our table who had noticed that we had been sitting for too long. She immediately took our order. She also noticed that the table was not balanced. She quickly ran and got two plastic blocks to place under the tables legs. She provided us with excellent customer service from there on out and I wish I got her name. She was great. The food was OK
The food was great and fresh. Priced average for the portions.
It was the worst Greek chicken salad I have ever had... The chicken was so dry I had to choke it down. Hardly any gluten-free options... Very disappointed.
Took a half an hour to get drinks and hardly any gluten-free options
The perfect place with the perfect staff with the perfect fresh food
amy was as a pudding pop and so helpful when it came to ordering and making a great choice. yanira and ricardo were awesome at front desk. gerarldo and his partners took care of my family. shane at security was exceptional . the girls who made my coffee at the lobby coffee shop were awesome. the luggage i purchased my kids were amazing . very detailed and i noticed they sold 9 units in 24 hours. plus i got it at a moderate price of $50 each vs ebay or amazon at 79 plus 15 shipping. another thing that was great at the restaurant was the manager white guy in blue shirt. he took care of us at dinner time. the grove is underrated or largely under marketed. they do need to add hammocks and benches to the whole grove 360degrees walking pathway and all over. i suggest selling the benches teams and hammocks each differently themed to universal or diney or seaworld or all or the the highest bidder. i love everything about this place except for one over the top loud obnoxious life gaurd. yes you know who you are. hotel resort is top notch and ill include it up there with bitcoin
Is there a way to leave a negative star? There were 9 tables in the restaurant with 3 servers and we were completely neglected the whole time. 1 server can’t take care of 3 tables? The mahi mahi had ZERO seasoning and was so over cooked it was inedible. My kids pasta with butter was literally half cooked noodles sitting in a puddle of butter. The server came over 3 times in an hour and a half of service and disappeared for the last 45 minutes. His excuse? “I thought the kids were done with the pasta that’s why I didn’t come back over”. So you didn’t think to clear the pasta from the table? Or to ask after we all had taken our first bite to see how everything was or if we needed anything? If you have children with you at the table just know that you will be neglected. I asked to see the manager and her response was “that is unacceptable”. That’s it? The front of house and back of house need a complete overhaul and to learn what hospitality means. If we wanted this kind of service and food we could have just went to Applebee’s.
ZERO STARS
great service and vibes! Please choose to visit and have a great night with your s/o
The food was wonderful, but the atmosphere and the environment for a valentines dinner was not well sorted had people walking around in swimwear or just not know it was a dining area
The food was awful. You need more choices. Cooks also need to learn how to properly cook a steak.
Only complaint is that we went down for breakfast after looking at the menu online...after we were seated they mentioned they were only offering a breakfast buffet...shocked when bill was $90 for 3 people with tip. I thought that should have been posted somewhere. Food was good though.
Excellent service and good food.
The food did was not seasoned and cold when it came out. There was no social distancing between the parties being seated. I felt rushed to eat and get up. The whole experience was disappointing.
We attended a brunch. The good was good and the service was good.
