Had the paella one of our favorites we like to get in Mediterranean restaurants. The portion easily would feed up to three.
This was my first time and I loved it! Pretty quiet on a Wednesday night, good atmosphere and ambiance. And the food was delicious!
Incredible tapas type small plates. Pork Belly Cuban sliders, Parmesan crusted calamari and crispy brussel sprouts were delicious. We enjoyed the opportunity to try multiple dishes. The Oreo beignet dessert is highly recommended!
Chairs for dining with no backs was not helpful. Otherwise, nice food selection and service

Had a wonderful 3 course pre theater meal with cocktails. I had the arugula & butternut squash salad, salmon entree & Oreo cookie beignet & a Valanni royale. The carne & seafood paella , Brussels appetizer & chocolate tres leche were also ordered by my companions. We especially liked the salad , paella, Brussels & beignet . We all enjoyed the varied cocktail menu & the quick service.

Valanni's Mezze Board is our go-to choice when we need a quick pre-theater choice. The perfect size for sharing - add drinks and you have an instant dinner for two!
A group of friends and I met before a show at the Wilma and had the pre-theatre menu for $35. I had crispy Brussels sprouts with apples which was a great combination. For my entree I chose Paella as did 3 of my friends. A good portion, chockfull of seafood, I couldn’t finish it all, but I wanted to! For dessert, chocolate tres leches cake, and I finished it all. Great meal, great location and a perfect start to an evening at the theater.

We had the fried goat cheese, Brussels sprouts, salmon, scallops, and Oreo beignet. The scallops came with mushrooms and asparagus that did not add to the flavor and the amazing garlic mashed potatoes. Everything else was outstanding. The service was fast and attentive. It was nearly perfect.
The service was excellent and the food prepared very quickly. The space was small and a bit cramped not the most ideal seating. Unfortunately there was a “lively” group that was a bit loud but they were having fun. I would go back for a casual dining experience. the food was good nothing really spectacular to rave about.

Brought a group of 7 and we were able to share a few small plates and two of the paella dishes and we had more than enough food and it was so adorable!
Food was delicious. We had a bottle of Barbera wine along with calamari and Brussels sprouts for appetizers. For entrees we ordered the salmon and steak. The food was delicious! It is a bit loud and crowded and seating was right near the entrance which wasn’t ideal. However, overall it is a consistently good place to eat.
Very interesting & bold appetizers. I recommend getting a few to try and then some paella (although it's a BIG portion, so plan to split among 4). Will definitely go back.
I wanted to love this place but the Food was bland and service was slow.
Valentine’s Day food was OK but overpriced. We were sandwiched into a small table so tight that the table had to be removed to get in and then put back after we were seated, in spite of the fact that several tables were and remained unused. Then the table top was sticky. Three groups that were seated near us got up and walked out before ordering. Overall pretty disappointing.
We decided to try Valanni for Valentine’s Day. They had a pre-Fixed 4 course menu to choose from., which we were a little disappointed as we wanted to try some of their Mediterranean specials. The food was good. We would like to go back and try their regular menu. The place had a modern chic ambiance, which we enjoyed.
EXCELLENT food although it took a while to get service started. The poached butter flatbread was to die for! The roasted brussel sprouts also fabulous.

Reservations were made. We arrived 10 minutes before scheduled reservation. Host directed us to the bar to wait for about 5 minutes until the table was ready (about half of the tables were empty). 15 minutes pass and I walk back to the hostess to see when the table will be ready. She said “whoops”, as in she forgot, and then put us at a small table for two with menus. After another 10 minutes waiting I asked one of the closest wait staff (there were many standing around) about a menu item, which he kindly told us about, then left. 10-15 minutes later, no water served, no one else waiting on us, we left. I don’t know how they stay in business with the lack of service they were showing. Monks was great as usual.
The room we were seated in was very crowded, but worth the inconvenience since the food was excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Valanni on Friday, January 24th, 2020 for dinner during Restaurant Week. The food was prepared beautifully! We shared our appetizers of Brussel Sprouts and fried calamari. These dishes were delicious and seasoned perfectly. The calamari was some of the best that I have eaten! I loved my chioppino! It was full of fish and the red wine sauce was delicate and delicious! My friend's salmon platter was cooked to perfection. All of our food was served at the correct temperature and the portions were just the right amount. Dessert was delicious and capped off our splendid meal. Service was excellent with staff being attentive to our needs.
Overall we were very, very happy with our meals at Valanni and recommend this restaurant very highly! We know that we will return soon!
We came for restaurant week and we absolutely love everything.. especially the veggie paella and the Brussels with apple were heavenly... I will definitely be back.
Went here for my birthday dinner & I will definitely recommend this place for your birthday gathering or a brunch/ date night it’s a vary clam please & they drinks are pretty good over all definitely recommend
I had been to Valanni for happy hour so came in with very high expectations. The seating was the most difficult part to overlook. The ottomans were especially uncomfortable for a 2-hour dinner experience - I think seating with a back is essential for one to be able to properly enjoy dinner. The location of our table also had a draft the whole time, so our entire party wore our coats for the length of dinner. Service was appropriate, though after ordering it was almost 15-20 minutes before the first course came. The food itself was great - except the veg paella which was seriously undersalted and lacked flavor. All in all, an average experience at a place that had more potential!
We were 23 minutes late to our reservation due to an Uber accident. They seated us at a small cocktail table. After a few moments the host was nice enough to move us to a table. The food here was pretty good! But the service is what was excellent. I really appreciate what the host did for us.
Was a good place, we went during restaurant week and the food and portions were good! They couldn’t split the whole meal which was kind of annoying but we figured it out.
