Vagabond Sushi Bar
Great quality of food for reasonable price; really enjoyed service and recommendations of staff.
For those of you who enjoy the retro atmosphere, Vagabond has it right. Totally 50's motor inn décor. the menu is concise and extremely well done. The sushi chef was well schooled in his art. The food was delightful, our group of six tried over a dozen different dishes and left fully satisfied.
The best sushi in Miami by far. The fish is so fresh, it melts in your mouth. As it should. The service was also outstanding. From the welcoming hostess to the servers.
Food was okay; service could use work. Overall the experience was fine for the money. Would consider going back again but not necessarily in a rush.
Great Spot and I thought relatively casual but fun and keeping in with the neighborhood ,a little artsy. It's great that you can get something at the restaurant and go to bar after.
We had the ramen which was good and some of the sushi rolls. And then we went next door by the pool bar and had drinks and listen to the DJ which was really fun.
Very nice lounge. We loved the place. Service was spotty in the beginning but then it got to be very good. I suggest to advice guests that food comes to the table as soon as it is ready and in no particular order. That would serve no surprises to diners. The Torrejas for dessert are the best EVER!! Save some space for them.
Music was too loud for only a few people in the restaurant.
Love the changes!
Everything great. Lots of menu options. We were welcomed by a lovely hostess and offered seating options. Our waiter was excellent as were all the food runners. Food quality was outstanding and prices were reasonable. It is always better to get off the beach!
Amazing sushi ambiance and service
Top 3 Sushi and Asian in miami for sure.
The food is very different... not your regular sushi
They even have steaks
The dessert was the absolute best you must save room even for a bite it’s well worth the splurge - there take on a French toast!!
Good food but bad and unexperienced staff, dinner was expensive and really not worth it.
The waitresses didn t know anything about the menu and didn t know how to serve dishes and wine, terribly dressed as hookers ( mini shorts and really horrible).
Tables and chairs in plastic!
Cheap dinnerware and casual napkins where you would like to find real napkins , regarding tge price you pay.
Dirty floor, dirty terrace where people smoke everywhere, and last but not least, a garbage can on the terrace...!
You d expect more for a place like this.
We ll never go back.
Fun place, food pretty good, friendly service. Restored MIami Modern motel.
The food is delicious and special. The service needs work.
Such a blessing for the neighborhood. What a great night. Wonderful food and service. Doesnt disappoint
My boyfriend and I go to different places in Miami every week. He asked me if I want to check Vagabond. It worth drive. Food was amazing. Service is outstanding. We always order lots of appetizers to share. Every dish was nice. After 2 hours dining we had nothin left on our plates. Will definitely come back again
Does disappoint. Great addition to the neighborhood. Cant wait to to back.
Everything from the new decor and fabulous remodel to the AMAZING sushi was perfection! I highly recommend Vagabond sushi for any occasion.
I recently checked out the new Vagabond Sushi spot in the MiMo neighborhood. Our pleasant server was efficient and food delivery to our bar seat location was pretty quick. This is a great perk if your are in a hungry mood and need something fast. As the restaurant has recently opened, there are a few tweaks that are required, however not unexpected in a new establishment (one being the lighting - too low in some areas, blinding in others). With time, I expect they will work out the details. I will try again.
The restaurant is too new to give it a fair review. Service was outstanding and although ambiance and experience is not quite there yet, I'm confident that it has the potential. The menu had a nice Spanish twist to it which was a bit weird to see sushi and torrejas, for example - but it worked!! The appetizers were on point, the Duck Foie Gras Fried Rice was out of the park, but the Pork Belly Ramen was bland, sushi was ok and they need to get creative with the bar since they don't have a specialty cocktail menu yet. We'll definitely give it a second try once they are more established.
