   The Restaurant was somewhat busy but not extremely because there were several open tables and 4-5 servers (around 530 pm). We waited 10 minutes before being seated. drinks and appetizers were served and then there was an HOUR wait for our food. A bit ridiculous I felt especially when all we ordered was a salad and a steak, not complicated dishes. I noticed others who were seated later than us have their food brought fairly quick. Not sure what happened there but after reading reviews I see that this seems to be an ongoing problem. The food was good but the wait too long so that is why they only got 3 stars. the prices were average and the menu had a different flair which I liked because I enjoy trying new things but sadly I do not feel we will be returning because the wait was entirely too long and the noise level was a bit over the top as well, My husband had a very hard time hearing me which also increased our frustration..

   We had a very enjoyable experience. Our server was personable and very helpful. Hangover burger was spot on!

   This was one of the best meals I've had anywhere! The food was delicious and the service was good.

   Was blown away w the Pork chop dinner, also loved the flank steak. Was a perfect evening for wife and I before a show at River City. Will def be back.

   Great food, cool atmosphere and nice craft beer selection. Service was very good also. So nice to have a place in downtown Wheeling to get a great meal! We hung out at the bar after dinner for the live entertainment. Had a blast. Can't wait to go back next time we're in town.

   Overall it was a good experience. We had a great waitress! The atmosphere is definitely nothing to write home about, but it wasn't loud which is great. I think they need to be careful about the prices. There are a couple burgers that are $14 and that is the à la cart price. I would highly recommend adding a side if you want to charge $14 for a burger. That was a big issue that was brought up. I think also they need to do more homemade things. For example the french fries (waffle fries) appear to be frozen and the jalapeño poppers as well. Don't try too hard to be a foodie restaurant before you make sure that your items are all homemade rather than frozen. I love to see local owned restaurants succeed. I hope that the owners don't try too hard to be a foodie restaurant and make sure they work hard to be a good restaurant first and foremost. I definitely plan to go back!

   We have eaten at the Vagabond Kitchen at least a half dozen times. The food quality is always outstanding and the service is also very good. It has a nice casual laid back atmosphere as well as different menu items outside of the regular menu items.

   We walked in and weren't sure how it would be because the set up wasn't that special. The menus weren't very official. But the food....beautiful display and delicious tastes! Wonderful for our date night
