   Was super excited to try this new restaurant out, and heard so many great things about it. However, our experience was not good. First off the host forgot we were there after we checked in and after waiting 10 minutes past our reservation asked if we had been helped yet. Then after we got seated the waitress took 15 minutes to come over and when she did we asked her for drink recommendations and she was very unhelpful. Appetizer showed up before we ordered the main (never like when that happens). The place was beautiful inside and when I asked where the bathroom was a man walked me all the way there. However, I think we got a bad waitress which ruined the night. She came back only 2 more times in the night. Didn't give us forks or knives (had to ask someone else). After we finished all our food she didn't come back to see us or clear our empty plates for another 30 minutes. Was going to order dessert but because of the service we received we decided not to. Overall, wouldn't go back. Likely our server that wasn't great. Food was ok, maybe other people would have a better experience with a different sever.

   The ambiance, the design of the restaurant is bar none. It's beautiful with vegetation, soft lighting, and open air. It feels very natural and relaxing. We had some great dishes. The Torro Rosso Vodka was a huge crowd pleaser. The pasta was al dente and the sauce was light but rich at the same time. Their cocktail menu drinks so come from a keg, so that did change the experience depending on when the drink was pulled. The Roman Mule was delicious though.

   One of the best Italian restaurants in Nashville. Very aesthetically pleasing. You can take a picture anywhere inside, outside or even the restroom it’s just so beautiful really gave a Miami vibe. When I arrived I was a little lost as I didn’t see any big signs pointing to the restaurant I had to drive around the building to find it and then parked in a garage in the same building where the restaurant is located. There is no parking besides the garage but they do offer a two hour discount for the garage. I arrived 10 minutes late but I was seated immediately. Our server was Derrick and he was so kind and very patient with our table. We took a while to order our food as we couldn’t decide it was our first time here and not everyone in our party arrived on time so I appreciate him being so kind. We ordered a few rounds of tequila shots($15 each I believe). Appetizer which was delicious. Our main entrée of choice was; short rib that came with mashed potatoes, pork chop, Tuscany chicken, and a pasta forgot the name, but it was all amazing! You really can not go wrong with anything here. For dessert we got the tiramisu and I can honestly say it was one of the best I ever had! We also got the gelato with an espresso shot. That was very delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. I came here to celebrate my birthday with a few close friends but I would also come here for a date night or dinner after work, brunch, to sit solo at the beautiful bar.. really any occasion!

   V Modern Italian is amazing! Very chic atmosphere with a DJ playing, delicious food and fantastic service from Joseph! Everything we ate was phenomenal-meatballs, short rib, vodka pasta, brunch truffle bruschetta. Fresh Pasta from New York and pizza dough from Italy. Pizza was outstanding.

   Disappointing overall. Got our drinks, mine had a bug in it, we were sitting close to the bar, saw her take it back, mess with it for about 30 seconds and then brought me a “new” drink back, interesting since it took them over 15 mins to make our first ones. And the drink was not good at all, didn’t drink it. Service was just poor. I sat without water for over 20 mins, even though she said she was going to get it to refill, came back to check on us and still didn’t realize and I had to tell her that I needed more water. Appetizers, bruschetta and meatballs were good. My husbands short rib was ok, nothing spectacular, but definitely way better than my bolognese. Bolognese just wasn’t good, pretty flavorless, and extremely blah. After sitting with no plates at the end of the meal for over 15 minutes, the server came by and asked us how we were doing and I just asked her to bring the check. I thought that was odd, no asking if we wanted to see a desert menu or anything. The atmosphere was good, but we won’t be back, I went in hungry and left hungry unfortunately, since the main dish just wasn’t good enough to eat. Many better Italian restaurant options in town.

That’s not the level of care or execution we promise to our guests, and I’m truly sorry that we missed the opportunity to make your evening feel special. Your feedback about the bolognese, the missed refills, and the lack of attentiveness at the end of your meal has been shared directly with our leadership team for immediate review and correction. We work hard to create an atmosphere where the food and service live up to the space.
