Enjoy the contemporary surroundings of our light and airy, newly refurbished V&A Restaurant open for Afternoon teas and dinner.
For dinner our dishes are cooked with fresh, seasonal ingredients and include favourites such as Pan Seared Lamb Rump, Grilled Seabass Fillets and our legendary burgers are not to be missed.
We also serve super-healthy salads and gluten-sensitive options. And don't forget to leave room for dessert - sticky toffee pudding or chocolate brownie anyone?

    Absolutely amazing!! Food was stunning, the service was brilliant. We were mainly looked after by a lady called Nabhella (I think I may have spelt that wrong.) she was polite, kind and attentive. The food was all stunning. Absolutely wonderful and close to the station.

    We were a party of 11 and didn’t tell them until we arrived that one of our party was lactose intolerant. This wasn’t a problem at all, the chef put together an afternoon tea with a mix of vegan and vegetarian items, all of which were delicious and looked amazing. We could have as much tea and coffee as we wanted and the afternoon tea for the rest of us was extremely delicious with a good mix of sweet and savoury. Would definitely go again.

    We had the Mother’s Day Sunday lunch. We were sat in a room with one other couple but were asked if we wanted to sit in the bar but we were happy chatting on our own. The meal we had was lamb which was cooked perfectly, boiled beetroot and parsnips with a red wine ju. Ot was a lovely meal but It would have been nice to have had some greens and carrots. Waiting staff were very attentive.

    The food quality was not the greatest . We were never given a choice to the fillings of the sandwiches, yet the people sat behind us were . Our servers however were really nice . And went out of their way to wish my little girl a happy birthday and really engaged with her . It was also a cracking cup of tea

    Really enjoyed the food. Just the right amount for us. We were there celebrating our wedding anniversary and the restaurant gave me a free glass of Prosecco 😊

    Food was fantastic and ambience delightful. I did have to ask for milk for my tea which took a while as staff were not around, and the table was set with saucers instead of side plates which was disappointing but afternoon tea was lovely.
