We also feature an all Italian wine list showcasing small Italian producers and wine based cocktails. we look forward to serving you.
Very good creative and tasty food, nice attentive but not annoying service, tasty wine. Great place for a meal with a friend. A bit noisy but conversation is still possible. My second time, and will come again. Feels like a rare find in SF
We have been coming here for years. It's a great spot for a nice casual dinner. We were there for happy hour which is also always great. The spicy salame pizza was super tasty. Our waiter was super friendly and the only thing I would say could have been better is the bread they serve with the cheese. It was super dry and dense.
Perhaps we ordered the wrong items. Both the octopus dish and baked eggplant with cheese were unappetizing. The little gem salad was ok but the lettuce seemed a bit wilted. The beet salad with ricotta tasted more like dessert and was cloyingly sweet. We were disappointed after reading such great reviews.
Great neighborhood restaurant. We've been several times and will continue coming back.
I love UVA Enoteca- every time I visit SF we always come here! The food is delicious, fresh and authentic!
Love it! Uva Enoteca is my go to place for fantastic and delicious Italian food!
We took a friend to SF to see Hairspray (it was fabulous too!). We made reservations for an early dinner afterward. Two of us had the arugula salad to start with and one had the baby gem salad. We all loved the salads! I had the octopus main (delicious!) and pasta and pizza were the other dishes. My friends loved their food as well. Service was great; the wine recommendation was amazing! Highly recommend this place!
Great wine selection and great food. A Lower Haight staple...
Great food. Nice service
Great neighborhood spot with delicious pastas!
Too expensive for the quality of the food. Nice place.
Fantastic ambience, delicious food & good value.
Got the group meal (> 6 people) for the first time. Food was good, but we only got one of each dish, so splitting it 6 ways didn’t feel like each person got much.. but, it was reasonably priced at $30 and still high whality
Food is great and the prices are well worth the value. Wine is great and the place is great for date night or family/ friends getting together.
We got seated right away on a Saturday night at 8pm. Serving sizes are good sized, we were able to split a pizza and salad between the two of us. Ambiance is nice, service was pretty quick. We were happy with our meal.
Food was nice, but nothing spectacular. Same with service.
Amazing food and great staff, will definitely be back!
Attentive service. Food arrived quickly and it was well prepared and delicious. We ordered a few dishes that had tomato sauce that was tasty but perhaps the waitstaff could have helped us balance our meal a bit.
We made reservations for eight and the day before we added two more and UVA could. Not have been nicer or more accommodating. It is a small place and two more may not seem like a lot but it was and we really appreciated their help.
Quality food, clean, good value, I would return
Our experience was flawless. Delicious food. Extraordinarily attentive and patient staff. Perfect Mother’s Day brunch. Can’t wait to go back!
Fantastic group dining price and quality for groups of 10 (need to make a reservation in advance).
Great food, great service. The asparagus and burrata was delicious.
I absolutely adore Uva Enocteca. This restaurant has been my neighborhood "spot" for years - it's a hidden gem. They have the most outstanding flavors in San Francisco (the smoked burrata is to-die-for) and a delightfully warm, cozy vibe. I highly recommend the pasta pomodoro, corn salad, and the chocolate budino.
great venue but we went for a friend's birthday, marked it in the reservation, and they didn't do anything or bring anything out for her which was quite a bummer
One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Great wine and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
This neighborhood restaurant always delivers a very good experience. The menu is unique as Italian restaurants go and the food is consistently quite good to excellent. The pizzas are well made and unusual and the crostinis are always a treat as starters. It can get noisy when the smallish restaurant fills up. Good choice of reasonably priced Italian wines.
Awesome cozy Italian restaurant ! Great pizza, pasta and salad and lots of wine to choose from! Absolutely will return and recommend!!
Poor service. Order was missed so we waited 1.5 hours before we received any response. Really poor customer service.
Everything was soooo goood!!! Salad, pizza, pasta, everything!
This is a neighborhood gem! Excellent wines, delicious food. We keep coming back time and time again.
Team is way friendlier now that women are part of it. Keep it up!
As always, this restaurant is the perfect backdrop for a special evening of any occasion!
This is a great low risk spot for a nice dinner
The marinara sauce was too salty; our waiter was efficient but not very friendly. Prices were reasonable. I’ll give it another chance.
Really nice staff, great meatballs and really expensive wine. Everything else we've tried to eat was ok, but not something to remember.
Excelente servicio y atención, la comida muy rica
Great ambiance for a date night or dinner, but I went for brunch for the bottomless blinis. At first they got my reservation wrong since they looked at the wrong name, so they declined our request at first and we had to wait to speak to someone.
It took a half hour to get water for the table of 6. and 1.5 hours for our food to come out and the food was basic/ mediocre at best for brunch. The service was nice, but very understaffed. I would not recommend this place for a weekend brunch.
Our party of six had the best time! Great food, great ambiance, great service! Will definitely coming back!
