   What an incredible experience! The food and the service were amazing. We let Andre pick our food and wine pairings and it did not disappoint. The coliflor was so good we ordered another one!

   I’m surprised this place has not earned Michelin recognition. Every dish we ordered was so good. Every bite did it’s magical flavour in my mouth. Service was outstanding. We will come back to this place again next time we visit Portland.

   Urdaneta is hands down my favorite place to eat. The food is amazing yes but it is so much more than the food. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable and the ownership is amazing. They are so kind to their staff and customers. The wine and drink menu is also amazing. Such an absolute pleasure every single time. Not the spot for big groups, keep your group small and treat yourself is my advice. Enjoy your special moments with the people you love at special places like Urdaneta. 🤘Thanks again everyone who makes Urdaneta so special.

    First time guests and we enjoyed our evening immensely. Wonderful food, great service and lovely atmosphere. It was my partner's b-day and our server brought us a nice glass of Cava right off the bat. That set the tone for an amazing evening and fabulous plates of tapas. Definitely will be returning again. Highest recommendation.

    We brought some friends, all of us dining here for the first time. The service was on point and very attentive, but not overly so. The atmosphere was great. A bit rustic, fitting the type of food they served, but with 80’ music. The food portions are small, surprisingly small on a couple of plates, but we all left satisfied and full, just had to order a little more than we might have elsewhere. That, however, was to our benefit as we were able to try more variety. I’m glad we did. Every single dish was so very good! Even the dish we ranked least of them was better than so many other great dishes elsewhere. This place knows their business. Every plate had different flavors. All of them were so well layered and developed. We’ve been around a while and have eaten all over the world and I will say that Urdaneta has some of the best food we’ve ever had. Prices are high (a little too high) and the portions small but the quality of ingredients they obviously cook with and the skill with which they do it are, again, on point and excellent.

    All the food were delicious. Presentation was very nice too. However, we regretfully will not be going there again because every dish we ate was too salty for our liking. We ate all of it though because they were delicious. Washed them down with lot of water 😊 I’m sure others are fine but we just could not take that much salt too often.

    We loved our dinner at Urdaneta. There were two of us. We ordered two items from the Pinxtos menu, two from the tapas primero menu, one from the tapas segundos menu, and a dessert. It was the perfect amount of food. Our favorites were the beet salad, the creamy eggs with trout, and the salt cod dumplings were to die for. Everything was delicious. There were a couple of small lapses in service but it was no big deal. We really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend Urdaneta.

    I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!

    This was one of the best meals I have had in Portland in a long time! Every single dish was a 10/10 hit, I'm not kidding!! It's hard to pick a favorite but I think the Oxtail dish was our fav. We can't wait to come back!

    Urdaneta is perhaps our favorite Portland restaurant - creative & delicious Spanish-inspired cuisine, cozy ambiance and attentive/warm/welcoming service. The menu contains year-round favorites and seasonal surprises. Go with an open mind - even if you *think* you might not like a certain dish, it may well become your new favorite. Trust the advice of your servers, then enjoy your evening on a date, with friends or as a group.
