Urbana Craeft Kitchen & Market - Hyatt Regency
Holy cow! 4 of us for Thanksgiving dinner. GREAT service, food was good. It was cozy and friendly and quiet - I could hear well. We actually had conversation! Honestly it was so great I’ve been telling everybody that this is the way I’m doing holiday dinners from now on. I just can’t say enough about it. Highly recommended. Dale Cook. And wife, mother and Aunt.
Our server was hard to find when we needed a few things - water, silverware, & the bill.
Food portion was small, but textures were excellent. Juice glass was very small. Need bigger water glasses. Tasty.
Interesting breakfast menu with some different choices. My "sandwich" could have used a bit more time in the press to warm it up more, but my companions' eggs, bacon, pancakes and potatoes all looked really good.
A lovely room with nice light coming in - great for gathering in the morning.
The young man who was the waiter was very good, but it was a while before I was seated by the host and assigned a server.
Food was good, no complaints there. Interesting menu with a depth of flavor.
Few people in restaurant on Saturday night. Perhaps the menu needs to be re-evaluated to be less of an ultra-trendy place and more mainstream.
Excellent restaurant with great food and service. Whether you prefer a sandwich and beer or a dinner with wine the menu provides everything anyone could want. We were there with a group the night before our 50th high school class reunion. We will return!
the food was wonderful and different. service was poor
Coffee drinkers are allowed unlimited coffee but tea drinkers get one tiny pot of water. That's was my only complaint.
Our server was really kind and the food was great!
There was no one in the restaurant but us. A couple people at the bar. Our waitress was very nice and the food was ok but not great.
I invited a friend to have breakfast to observe her recent birthday. She found her way from Eden Prairie, and we both enjoyed our meals. Our server was very courteous and attentive. We both will certainly come another time!
This place is not at all what I thought it would be. My cocktail was terrible, and my food was disgusting. I don’t appreciate when a restaurant decides how much sauce/condiments goes on my entree. Really disappointed. I do not recommend
Great creative menu. Excellent food.
Great service great food. Gina was very attentive.
Good combination of Easter Brunch selections and regular menu. Appreciate the way in which local food items were highlighted with a nod to Scandinavian heritage.
Meal was excellent. Good flavors, textures were complex and presentation was interesting. Filling, even for a meatless meal on a Lenten Friday.
My friend and I enjoy checking out new restaurants in the area and try to hit one or two new ones a week. Our favorites are farm to table, locally sourced spots, and Urbana Craeft seemed to fit the bill perfectly. Unfortunately the pretty website was about where it ended for this one. My son has a severe soy allergy and there was nothing on the menu other then sweet potato fries that he could have, thankfully I had some snacks for him in my purse, but with most restaurants becoming more aware of allergens lately this was disappointing. I ordered the veggie burger and was also let down. The greens on it were wilted, and the flavor was just ... off. The fries were good though. My friend got the schnitzel and it was very dry. On the plus side our server was very friendly and accommodating when it came to checking the menu items for something my son could eat. I really wanted to like this spot, but I don't think we'll be back.
Service was horrible. I had to get up from the table and personally refill our coffee twice even after we asked the server for refills.
Food is great but portions are small.
It’s an awesome modern restaurant that has something on the menu for everyone.
Very nice experience for a Sunday brunch, close to the airport. Good food; very good service.
Went there with girlfriends for breakfast Saturday at 10. Clean and new and nice comfy chairs. Great service and food and quiet enough to hear one another easily. Surprisingly affordable. We all want to go back.
I met three friends for mid-morning breakfast to observe a birthday. Each person ordered something different on the
menu. Our server was excellent and we were not rushed. I’m sure we will all return.
Food was okay, not a great presentation. Service was bad. The server was slow, and not personable. I wouldn’t recommend
We have dined at Urbana Craeft Kitchen several times but have never had such poor service and overall rudeness by the staff. Our food order came out incomplete and by the time the additional food accompaniments were delivered the abelskivers were cold. When we expressed our concerns about the service and food the manager argued with us and did not offer a solution or compensation for our inconvenience. We were seated in the foyer on hard chairs rather than the back dining area which we had expected for our group of 8. We will no longer patronize this restaurant.
We had an excellent breakfast here. I would recommend it highly!
Excellent food- all prepared well and hot. Delicious!
We had a delicious and enjoyable Thanksgiving experience. Thanks also to our server for making it fun.
Excellent all the way around!
I just am still waiting to receive my 100 points for dining there. The hostess did not know how to reward me!!
This place was amazing! We came with a large group and literally everyone LOVED everything we ordered, including picky kids. SO GOOOOD
My wife and I went here for a date night, not on travel. So our expectations may have been different than their typical customers.
The food here was not good, especially considering the prices. The walleye had bones in it. The hangar steak was ordered medium rare and came out medium well. The dark chocolate creme brulee, strangely, had a pumpkin flavor and texture?
Our waiter and the bartender tried to address our needs at dinner, so the stars are for their willingness to help.
The next morning, when we asked for creamer for coffee, we were given an open creamer container from another table that had a sizeable chip in the porcelain, which is unsafe. The breakfast wait service at 8 am was also slow, even before the Vikings fans came down for breakfast -- seemed understaffed.
Overall we enjoyed our experience here. For not being super busy, the service was a tad slow. The food was decently good. We enjoyed the roast beef sandwich over the burgers. They had a lot of other things we would’ve like to try! The broccoli tots were fun and tasty! We also got the goat cheese chicken pizza which was good, but not amazing.
Our server was amazing
Excellent food with some traditional Scandinavian entrees. My partner really liked the scrambled egg fondue bowl. The wild rice aebelskivers were a real treat with their wild choke cherry sauce. We plan to make this a regular stop whenever we’re in Minneapolis.
Food is creative and tasty. This is a great place for having guests (esp if from out of town and unfamiliar with scandinavia cooking). Have eaten both breakfast and lunch here, really enjoy it. Kind of a hidden gem!
Food was average, at best. $105 for dinner for two. 2 drinks (got them half way through the appetizer) 2 main course. Meat balls tasted like Ikea food court.
Okay if you are staying at the hotel, not worth the drive from the city.
Always like to see Red Lake Nation Walleye on a menu when we have guests along from out-of-state. And the Avocado Burger was sensational. Friendly host and wait staff - attentive service. Very enjoyable!
My daughter and I made reservations for 10:15 on a Sunday morning. We arrived to a chaotic scene. There were two groups in front of us, also with reservations. You could tell the restaurant had just cleared out, as there were many dirty tables. The manager was frantically trying to bus and reset the tables. Servers could care less about helping. He tried his best, but one of the groups in front of us ultimately left.
We were finally seated about 25 minutes past our reservation (being that we both work in the industry we were understanding, to a point) Another table was sat just after us. We sat, both tables, for about 10 minutes without being approached. When the server finally did approach the other table was kind enough to inform our server that we had been there longer.
Our server did not want to be at work that day, it was the first Vikings game and she had her jersey on, the only server/employee we was with one on. She slammed food down, got our orders a bit off, and overcharged us. I had to go to the cafe area to ask about more water, they serve water in rocks glasses, and I drink several glasses of water in the morning. She barely came to the table. I had to ask the manager to fix our bill. I didn't want to wait any longer for our bill. Left cash but did not have enough for a tip.
Great spot in the middle of a growing suburban hub, nice setting and great food options. Food was surprisingly good, in fact very creative dishes and the majority of ingredients are locally sourced.
I tried a featured item on the menu - some sort of Swedish hamburger that I thought was awful. I sent it back and ordered just a turkey burger. The waiter must have been new, but he still charged me for the bad burger. The second burger was marginal also. Won’t eat there again.
Their abelskivers are amazing. We tried the wild rice but it didn't come with the cherry syrup nor did it come with whip cream. My apple abelskivers didn't come with whip cream either. Otherwise was a great place to celebrate our wedding
