Urban Village Brewing Company
Best happy hour!
The food was great ( specially the gnocchi)
The only comment I have is that they don’t do any other cocktails beside what they have in their menu.
Great service, quite good food.
Great food, great service, great beer, great atmosphere. The entire experience was amazing at Urban Village. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to our large group. The food was so fresh and amazing, it all came out in no time. They had a great beer selection and a large variety of styles to choose from. Would defiantly recommend and will be going back!
This place is great for large groups who just want to relax and drink some beer. We had the pizza, which was ok. The beer cheese fries were AMAZING. Must get. I only tried the kombucha but my friends said the beer was excellent. Ambiance was on point - lots of room, large tables, TV screens to watch games, and bathrooms were super nice and clean. Service was not excellent - server came around too frequently and was not very knowledgeable on the menu items (especially regarding what qualified as vegetarian. which was important to our group). Also, there was a hair in one of the beers and lipstick in one of the cups. Overall, great place to hang out for happy hour but maybe not to eat. It also seems like the outdoor area is nice, although it was too cold for us to experience it.
Overall a good neighborhood spot. Thought of it more of a bigger party / game watching venue so was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the pizza and other food we’ve gotten there.
Food was good, beer was just OK. A bit surprising for a brewery restaurant.
Amazing food and great beer/drinks!
Great pizza, good beer! Fried pickles were a little too doughy but the whipped ricotta on our pepperoni pizza was delicious!
Well apportioned brew-pub w some excellent beer offerings that are often changing. Sampled pizza that was well-carried out, though crust was a bit chewy. Great place to watch sports.
I loved the games that you could take to the tables. Food was awesome and our server was polite and friendly. Would absolutely recommend and return!
Really enjoyed this place, definitely will return!
Flew solo with my boys tonight. Didn’t feel like cooking or eating at a chain restaurant, so we hopped in the car and headed over to Northern Liberties for a quick meal. The boys seemed to enjoy everything, and except for a wee bit of Caesar salad that wasn’t finished, all dishes went back to the kitchen almost perfectly clean. My eldest was particularly impressed with the mussels and I had him dipping sourdough bread and pizza crusts into the bowl to sop up the sauce (I almost weeped with pride!). All in all, a fine night out with my young lads! .
Our FAV northern liberties spot. Don’t go anywhere else! Best spot to go with a big group or just a date night. Games on the tables, great beer brewed onsite, and awesome brick oven pizza. Happy hour is the best but anytime is a good time to go. Very kid friendly too
Went during happy hour, half off pizza. Really enjoyed the one with pulled pork.
Food was outstanding and the beer was great. Our server however was less than desirable and did not check up on us throughout the meal/did not go over the menu or provide us with recommendations. She sat at another table with her friends the entire time. While the service was awful, I will still go back for the amazing food.
Great happy hour with half priced pizzas and $3 craft beers!
Even though there were 5 people standing around up front no one came over to us for 8 minutes before we decided to leave and check out the place across the way.
Pizza was excellent, salads were delicious, atmosphere was artsy, friendly, and relaxed.
Great service by friendly staff, nice urban vibe
If I lived in Philly this would be my spot. Party of 6 and we had a great time
We moved to Northern Liberties about 4 months ago, and this is already our go-to spot. We have learned that it is a gem in the neighborhood. We bring any visiting and family friends here because it's just so perfect. The beers are varied and delicious and don't kill you with hops for the sake of hops.
Server was great. Place is really now very. I will definitely be back again
Delicious food, great beer, Thursday night quizzo is so much fun! Service is excellent. Very clean restaurant.
The venue is awesome. The decor and games definitely are inviting. The drinks were horrible. The old fashioned tasted like flat ginger ale with simple syrup. The food was average.
Beer was below average
Fantastic restaurant/brewery! Excellent food selections, waitstaff, beer and atmosphere. A must try are the handmade french fries with brisket and Manchengo cheese!!!!! Ohh LA LA! Very attentive wait staff, always striving for your experience to be the best, can offer suggestions and descriptions of the food or the beers! Music playing in the background and plenty of televisions around the room and bar. Excellent experience - check out the website for special events such as drink specials and trivia contests. Great for families, friends or date nights.
Loved the pizza. Great brick fired crust. Great atmosphere. Outdoor patio looks nice for warmer weather.
This was a surprisingly good meal. Surprising because the ambiance is sports bar. But the cauliflower was excellent, as was the kale pizza. The soupy gnocchi didn't fare as well. A really good neighborhood spot.
Great selection of beers and delicious, perfectly cooked pizzas. Will definitely return.
Really good beer selection and variety. The pizza was incredible!
Great pizza and beer! Parking is a challenge! Uber is probably the best!
The food was great, the beer was pretty good (but I'm picky), and the service was excellent. Fun place with patio/open air seating and games outside. I'll definitely return.
Service was great! Our server (Bless?) was very fun and helpful. We all really enjoyed our meal for my friend's surprise birthday dinner. She had a great time!
Excellent find in the Northern Liberties neighborhood. Loved the décor and ability to sit inside or out. Large bar with large TVs - great for Sunday afternoon football. Board games available to borrow. Large, delicious beer menu with many types of beer. Had a 6 sample flight (4 oz. pours). Options for growler fills. Handmade cocktails unique and delicious. Mussels and homemade sourdough bread fresh with butternut squash in broth. You would not think that works, but you should try as we did. Short rib sandwich with hand cut fries was large and juicy. Free parking at the corner lot on Germantown Ave. was a huge plus in this tight neighborhood. We will definitely be back and wish them much success.
Adina was our server and she was great! We'd never been and she had some great suggestions. We had Moroccan spiced wings, handcut fries with manchego cheese sauce, heirloom tomatoes and ricotta cheese with grilled sourdough and the Connie pizza (pancetta and clams). I didn't give 5 stars for food simply because the clams tasted a little fishy. All else on the pizza was great! Wings were unique and fall off the bone, fries were perfectly salted and cheese sauce...YUM! The grilled bread with ricotta and heirloom tomatoes was perfection! Ricotta was creamy and tomatoes perfectly sweet. I'd definitely go back to try more! But please, bring back the fried pickles!!!
