Awesome food, awesome service. Always leave happy!
Plenty of gluten free options; the food is always good
Great food with good flavors. Not the most extensive menu, but they do what they have very well. The happy hour pricing is great too until 6 everyday!
Food is always good!!
Great food and great service!
Food was excellent as always. Charcuterie tray was a little disappointing; it used to be much more robust.
Small but eclectic menu with ample brunch options. $10 Mimosa pitcher was a steal! Patio was heated and very quiet, not at all busy on a Sunday around noon.
Food was Meh. Bruschetta was roasted, so it was very odd biting into soft bread.
Overall not what I have experienced in the past. There are too many places in KC so unfortunately won’t be dining again.
Really cute place to grab dinner and a few drinks with friends! Their menu is small but has variety. The food was good, but sort of pricier (which is expected for this area). Definitely got what I expected out of eating here- good food, great environment, and great drinks!
We enjoyed a good dinner, as usual at Urban Table. Our only issue with our evening was the noisy couple at the table next to us, who were apparently on a blind first date. The guy just didn't have an inside voice, or an off switch, and some of his topics were actually hilarious to listen too. Problem was i couldn't hear my wife talking due to his high volume and constant chattering.
I’ve been here a couple of times and each time I’ve had an excellent meal. Today we got the dip duo which was delicious, definitely try the goat cheese. I also got the Italian margarita and fried rice bowl. Both were amazing, I will definitely be back again.
Everything was great!
Great experience and Service. I highly recommend urban table. The food was good too.
Family favorite! The chicken salad sandwich is a must have. I have chicken salad but their sandwich is perfection. Always a go-to spot!
The service was not on par. Forgot things requested. Didn't ever bring silverware and napkins till she brought the food and we asked for them...then we had to wait 5 minutes before she brought them.
One of our coffee mugs was dirty (this is not the first time this has happened). And there were few choices for tea. Most of the selections were gone.
My order was not as good as I had remembered...not as robust of a dish as it used to be.
Bathrooms...One stall was broken (tank lid and flusher missing), yet it was not marked as being out of service.
Quality overall has substantively decreased. Very disappointing.
I have always had excellent service at Urban Table. I think our server this day was not on task, however the meal was delicious and we had a lovely time.
Ha brunch with in-laws and everything was done extremely well. Server was attentive and food came out hot and fresh.
I had chicken tacos and the chicken was dry and overcooked. The tacos were without taste. My wife’s udon bowl was too spicy and my daughters meal was mushy. The seats were worn out we sat close to the front door and it was too breezy and our waitress never asked me how my food was and the manager never checked on us. I am surprised that bread and butter concepts allows this to happen at their restaurant. I don’t plan to go back to urban table
Unique combinations of ingredients and always so good!
I took my wife to Urban Table, and the waitress was wonderful. However, we were not able to eat the food from the prix fixe menu because it tasted bad. We actually made an effort to eat what we ordered because we didn’t want to come across as rude. The cheese fritters were the only food items that we felt were edible.
In defense of Urban Table, I have heard that brunch there is good. So I still want to give this place another chance, but I don’t recommend the prix fixe menu.
We went on Valentine's Day and were surprised that it was a prix fixe menu for $70 per person. I'm not a big eater so the value was not there and we felt duped. The server was fantastic. The tables (on the veranda) were VERY close together so private conversation was impossible. Probably won't return because the fixed menu left a bad taste in our mouth (pun intended)
The food was good. The service was fine. Overall I thought the cost vs. the quality did not feel like a good value.
Normally a big fan of urban table. This time was not very good. Ordered chicken salad and it was spoiled. Coffee mug had a lipstick stain on one of them. I have been several times never had an issue, not sure if I will be back for a bit.
Always a great experience.
Cozy spot with great service and food. I will be back!
Warm and inviting space, we settled in at the end of the bar nice a cozy. Best position in the house. Service is top notch, great takes on comfort food but turned up. Moderat pricing at $125 for two including a bottle of wine.
They were out of several items like the soup and a few wines. The drinks were changed recently and not very good. Our waitress was really good but it seemed they had very few menu items actually in stock.
We visited during restaurant week, so it was busy. The inside of the place was nice, but on a cold night the patio was either too cold or too hot, depending on where you sat. Food was good, but the restaurant week menu was not much of a deal. Cocktail did not taste like it was mixed properly. Still, I would eat there again.
This was our first time at Urban Table & we really enjoyed it. The artichoke fritters were amazing, our entrees were good & I loved the aesthetic!
We had a spectacular dinner at this wonderful restaurant in Prairie Village! The cocktails and food were fantastic and our server was incredibly nice and attentive! The place had such a terrific vibe! We loved it!
Overall it was very good. Server could probably have used more training. He was probably new at his job. Only complaint is the chairs need to be replaced.
We had the best waiter. My apologies as I have forgotten his name. We had the same gentleman the last time we ate there - he always makes for a lovely experience! The food was delicious as always!
We visited Urban Table for brunch and overall the food was fair but nothing special or memorable.
Not our first time dining here. But, unfortunately, not our best experience. Hangar steak was iffy at best. Cooked perfectly, but the the taste just wasn't there. Fries were fabulous. Appetizer was delicious. Chili was phenomenal. Dessert was a great way to finish the evening. The main entree was the big disappointment. Will not deter is from coming again, but definitely didn't help the evening.
Always enjoy eating at Urban Table great food and service!!!
We went for brunch/lunch on New Years Day. Food was great and Ashley our server was wonderful.
Where to start. Booked reservation for NYE based on promotional email. $65 fixed price menu, non ordering off regular menu. Brought out of town guests knowing we would have.a great meal with nice ambience. A man fell out of his chair twice at nearby table because chair was broken. Not a single staff or manager helped him although everyone saw it! Man replaced his own chair with another at table next to him. Manager came over and took bad chair but did not check on patron!! After prompting our waitress to encourage manager to check on patron, he did. It was inconceivable to us. Man limped out of restaurant and I hope his lawyer calls ownership.
Delightful server for our table which is the one and only good thing about the evening. Menu was trying too hard with strange combos for a NYE celebration but we all made our selections. Three of six chose 16oz sirloin. Two lobster tails and one vegetarian pasta. Later informed they were out of sirloin—this was 8pm. Selected chicken instead which was small and dry. All portions were skimpy other than the vegetarian pasta entree. All vegetable and starch sides were cool, not warm and mediocre at best. We were still holding out hope that night could be salvaged by dessert. Three of us ordered creme brûlée, which was nothing more than completely uncooked cream that had been torched on top. We literally poured them out of ramekin into saucer like milk for a cat. Told server she was great but we wanted to speak to manager. He came over and apologized but had to be prompted to comp us anything. Finally we said we would happily pay for alcohol and tip our server on what would have been total but we were not paying for meals. We have eaten at Urban Table many times and new this was not their standard quality. Manager was obviously in over his head, plenty of servers but completely unorganized and who knows what was going on in kitchen. To cap the night the table next to us who arrived 1/2 hour later was served sirloin!
We've been to Urban Table before, but for New Years Eve, the service was slow compared to prior visits and it wasn't very busy. It seemed like we were always waiting on the server for ordering, refills, and even to pay the bill. We ordered our steak medium-rare, and it came out more medium to well done -- thus dry for a rib-eye steak. Compared to what we saw coming out across the board on other tables; them as the table next to us said theirs were dry too. So they were either pre-cooked or the cook doesn't know the difference between meet cooking modes.
