   If you are looking for a quiet unassuming place with good food at a reasonable price, this is your spot. It is the restaurant attached to a hotel in the slabtown neighborhood. At Sunday brunch time, there were only 4 people although we were told it can be very busy. The food was perfectly prepared, the coffee was good, and the waiter was engaging and helpful. This is not a.trendy foodie hotspot, which is what makes it an understated gem. The menu misspellings gave us a laugh, but the chef’s cooking skills are no joke. We thought it offered excellent value in these days when everything is so expensive. Off the beaten track, and well worth a visit!

   Long time pdx resident. This place is in a little bit of a "random" corner of Northwest. Charlie our server was fantastic and the food was very very good. Solid experience way above expects. Def will return.

   Perfect place to go if you’re solo dining! Great food and the atmosphere is really comfortable. The Brussels sprouts and steak were super delicious

   BEST BRUSSEL SPROUTS I have ever had. We had a lovely dinner. Excellent food and great service really nice environment. Easy parking I will for sure be back. Lastly, I cannot tell you how amazing the brussels sprouts were. I am still thinking about them and may need to get recipe.

    Went to Urban Steel for a late night dinner. We were very impressed by the service provided by Grace. She was informative, attentive and recommended the best dishes - which were delicious! If we’re ever in Portland again, we’d definitely stop at Urban Steel for drinks and an excellent meal !!
