With a Jules Verne meets Art Deco aesthetic (with a heaping helping of steampunk thrown in), we are creating a course full of interactive kinetic sculptures.

Great for big group with kids. Have high chairs. Have alcohol, have games. Great!
Pizza not good, rest was pretty good - Brussels sprouts, salads, etc.
Urban Putt is and has been for some time now my favorite place to take out of towners visiting, family visiting the bay area for the weekend and I always seem to impress my dates when I take them there:}
Hands down, a true gem!
Great place for a large group with kids. They were very accommodating and it allowed us to ease into things before sitting down
Fun birthday spot, good food and decent pricing for SF. Really cool indoor minigolf
Perfect with kids!
This place is amazing! Good food. Great variety of drinks and the indoor mingolf course is a real treat! We loved the entire experience and hope they open up one in Los Angeles
Mini golf was a fun experience and the food was quite tasty!
Amazing service. Great food up. Fantastic time golfing. A must visit for those who haven’t had the chance.
Great food and plenty of space for our group of 6. We had a delicious dinner and drinks then played a round of mini golf!
I was very happy to see they had the beyond burger !
I always recommend Urban Putt as an attraction to people new to the city or people visiting from out of town - this will no longer happen as I was so embarrassed and offended by our visit there on Monday. I brought friends who were visiting from Europe and we made reservations for 8:30pm. Mind you, when I made reservations I had no idea what time they closed, I just saw the availability and knew we could make it. When we get there it was like we arrived to a funeral. Staff was visibly upset over our arrival and man at host desk tells us that we would be the 3rd table all night and they were trying to wrap the night up. I responded with: "should we leave then?" and he said no it was fine. When we sat, waitress told us that kitchen would close in 15 minutes then continued to hound over us to take drink orders and food order while we were trying to translate menu items to our guests who do not know English or American cuisine well - she stopped by 3 times in a matter of 7-10 mins. You don't have to be a genius to understand that we were translating the menu to our guests so obviously we needed more time all three times. This made our guests extremely nervous and really weirded us all out. Food comes out and they didn't even bring us napkins or silverware. I had to ask for napkins then had to go and get silverware from another table. Again, this whole situation was very embarrassing for us as we decided to bring our guests there because we'd always had fun playing there and figured it'd be a great place for eating and entertaining.
It was not our fault it was a slow night, it was not our fault it was a Monday, it was not our fault management or whomever stayed open leaving us time to book a reservation. I've never have felt so unwelcome in my life. I am so sad our guests had to go through such an awkward experience and am beyond embarrassed for bringing them there, we had such limited time together and it was misspent being treated like trash.
Terrific food, very willing and attentive service. My only quibble would be that the noise level is almost overwhelming on the ground, golf, floor. I realize the music, bells and whistles are all part of the ambiance, and important ones at that. But we started at 5p.m. Saturday, and the sound becomes pretty muddy and indistinct quite quickly. I would think any level of sound-deadening insulation would be good for kids who can be really impacted by noise.
But overall, five stars, great staff, terrific Shirley Temples for the girls, excellent, creative food (best Jambalaya ever!)
My husband and I went for a much needed date night out. We had made reservations for 5:30, but ended up getting there right when they opened for dinner at 5. The hostess was very nice and accommodating, as we were the first ones there. We were seated immediately, and our waitress was prompt. We ordered appetizers, which came out before our meal, and everything was delicious! Once we were done, we went downstairs and played a round of mini golf. The course was super creative and we had a lot of fun! Would definitely recommend Urban Putt to our friends!
The special occasion was my daughter's 16th birthday. This is not a romantic venue.
It gets very crowded so if you have young ones come early to putt.
The food was really good. And the service was OK. However, our server made up for the mistake which helps keep the 4 star rating. Definitely recommend. Fun environment and good food.
Dinner was delicious, but we went on a Saturday and it was so busy we didn't even golf. It was a 45 minute wait just to tee it up...
What a fun family night. Highly suggest having dinner, putting then heading back upstairs for desert:)
We've golfed here before but decided to stay for dinner this time around. Great prices, no long waits and lots of fun, small plates to share. The chicken and waffle skewers, smashed potatoes and devils food bundt cake were all big hits with our group. Family or date-friendly. Would definitely go back!
Went with friends visiting from out-of-town. First we golfed and then we ate. We were there for a 5:30 reservation. There was already a table full of a 6 year-old birthday party and a couple other folks in the restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and tasty and plentiful. We shared a bunch of little plates (starters and sides) and a salad and a bowl of Jambalaya. It was a nice way to sample a lot of the dishes. I'm not sure if the menu changes but this was the perfect time to be eating peaches and tomatoes! The chicken and waffles, which was not my choice, was better than I imagined it would be. The Jambalaya had just the right amount of kick.
Incredibly accommodating of food allergies. Great service! And they have skeeball. Need I say more?
Super fun for an evening with my daughter. Also good for small group of friends as a meal with casual fun activity. The mini putt course is REALLY well done.
We had my young son's birthday party was a blast for kids and adults alike. We played putt putt while the kitchen fired up the pizzas before our reservation. We had enough people that they seated us in the party area of the restaurant, which was fantastic. The kids could make noise without bothering other guests, munch on cheese pizza, drink lemonade, and entertain themselves at one long table while the adults sat at an adjacent table with drinks and adult pizzas and appetizers. It was truly fun for all. I can't tell you how many of them said fun it was. And the friendly server, the hostess, manager, and other staff really made everything run smoothly. Kudos to them.
Food and drinks were much better than I expected from the atmosphere of the restaurant. The wait for golf was only about 20 minutes on a Friday night at 8pm. Each of the holes had a stand for your drink and you finished in alittle over an hour, which is just the right amount of time for mini golf. Other customers were in a great mood and friendly, the holes were creatively themed and challenging but fun. You could take a kid here at 4pm, got with friends for dinner first at 6:30 like we did, or go late for some mini golf fun. This place is a service to the community, I'll be back.
My daughter and I took my wife there to celebrate her BDay. We started upstairs for dinner with cocktails (great drinks)! The food was fabulous, I had the chicken & waffles (YUMM) and my wife and daughter shared a deep dish pizza which they loved. A little hint, do not ask for "ranch dressing" ask for their homemade buttermilk dressing. Then we went downstairs to play miniature golf - what a kick! Visualize playing miniature golf on an assembly line. The SF theme was great. Go there with the expectation of great fun and sillyness...
Most items we got to eat were really delicious: scallops, ribs, biscuit, mac and cheese. Empanadas were blend. Service was very good and other customers were a little noisy, but that was ok with us. Our toddler roamed around and enjoyed himself saying hi to other tables.
While the indoor golf was amazing and brilliant, the food and restaurant upstairs were not something we'd repeat or recommend.
Food was OK. Not a place to go for gourmet, but definitely a good date spot. Tables are close together and there are no booths, so communication could be difficult when crowded. Service was acceptable.
Staff were super friendly, comfort food perfect for night out with kids, and the putting was outstanding!
It was awesome. We had a great time! The course was fun and interactive. Definitely not what we expected. The people there are really fun! Patrons and staff!
Host was not friendly, (he changed us to a table for 2 when we seated ourselves at a window larger table because host wasn't there when we walked in - turns out no one ever sat at table we had sat ourselves in which was near window) Waitress not attentive & told me wrong soup - luckily soup they brought was still very tasty though...husband ordered jambalaya & they should have given him an extra plate to discard shells. So overall service was poor but food very good...
Amazing place...mini golf was fun, unique and incredibly creative. Bar downstairs was great and convenient with a decent craft beer and cocktail menu. Food upstairs was very surprisingly good and the deep dish pizza was legit!!
A great bite to eat before playing a round of mini-golf on the course downstairs! Pleasantly surprised by their deep-dish pizza (coming from a Chicago native), and the chicken & waffle skewers were fantastic.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was yummy and there were some good veggie options to go with our chicken and burgers. Great cocktails and other drinks menu too.
So much fun and the food was delicious! We were a group of 10 and ordered Brussel sprouts, fries, chicken and waffles, and the burrata plus 3 large pizzas and I ended up taking home 2 pizzas! Everything was very fresh and tasty. Service was excellent! Will definitely be back
The server was kind of impatient and rolled her eyes when we weren’t ready to place an order - even though we literally just sat down. We had 2 different servers, so it was the first one. The golf course was too hot and stuffy. Now I know why miniature golf is usually outdoors. Each hole was way too close to each other and there’s not enough standing room.
It was my best friends birthday and so we wanted to do something unusual. This is definitely unusual. Fun for people watching to
We were early for our 7 pm dinner reservation. We were seated promptly and our very pleasant server recommended cocktails and beers. Once we were ready, she recommended excellent appetizers. The lamb meatballs and warm burrata cheese were just the right size for four of us. The server's dinner recommendations were also spot on. The jambalaya was well-spiced, the pork chop was cooked perfectly, and (after a small delay in the kitchen) the hangar steak was exactly as requested. The staff more than made up for the problem with the steak - without charge they supplied a cocktail, an extra salad, and dessert. The food was much better than we expected for a mini-golf venue. We also very much enjoyed the golf!
Great ! Food was slow arriving- so Manager gave us free drinks & golf coin ! thank you-we loved the yummy food !!!
Loved Urban Putt-great place for a date night! Fun ambiance, great food and got to play mini golf after dinner--what more could you ask for?
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! We were from out of town and were looking for a fun dinner ad came across this place. This place first has such great service and the food is terrific. We had dinner upstairs first and then made our way down for mini golf. Most unique and fun ive ever seen. i wish this place existed in southern CA where we live and id come once a week! We will be back next time we are in town for sure!
