Excellent food. Great decor. Need to work on service a little. Waitress came to take order and greeted us with “are you ready?”
She took our order brought our food and never came back. We had to settle our bill with the bartender. Still had a great time
The food is absolutely awful. There are plenty of places that offer much much better food. If I had a choice of eating their food for free, I wouldn't. They need a serious kitchen staff overhaul. Not sure how they even got 4+ stars to begin with.
They didn’t check me in on open table. The girls says software is not working
It was great as always, and loved the cheesy naans!
Enjoyed the main dishes and curries. Sorely disappointed by the Tandoori Chicken. Great place for families. Kudos to the new girl who served us. Keep up the good work!
Food was a decent - not bad but not overly delicious. Service could have been better - had to remind for missed items and wait for bread (roti) repeat order for a while. Food presentation could be in nicer containers. The way dishes were served look like half filled bowls.
Nice find for Indian in Vaughan!
The food was delicious, according to my mom they have the best garlic nan in the world 👌🏼
Great service, clean and comfortable. Most importantly the food is super tasty.
A lovely date night!
As usual excellent food, and great atmosphere as the restaurant filled up around 9.00pm. Naan or rice are included with your food so prices are very reasonable as usually one pays extra. Huge selection to choose from and the best vegetable samosas in Vaughan. We will continue to eat there whenever we have a yearning for Indian cuisine.
This is a hidden gem for Vaughan! Food was delicious. Great portion sizes and affordable
I am usually a harsh critic of Indian food as I am of Indian decent. But this place exceeded my expectations. It was full of flavour that I usually don’t get when I go to other Indian spots. I often find the food bland as they need to cater to the non Indians. But not this place!
Please check it out if you haven’t.
I took my wife and 2 adult kids to the restaurant for Mother’s Day. I surprised everyone with my choice. We love to try diverse foods and being from Maple loved this opportunity to try something different. We love Indian food and ‘UM’ was so great ! All around great experience from palate to service. We will definitely visit again and encourage our friends to do so.
My family of 6 came here for Mother’s Day lunch. It was not very busy. The appetizer vegetarian platter we ordered had burnt pakora. One of the naans had a hair in it. They gave a 10% discount due to that. And offered a replacement but by that time the appetite was gone. Other than that the food was good. The service was terrible. Very slow and no one came to ask how the food was or if we needed anything. For that reason I will not go back.
I will definitely go again. Service was prompt, quick. Food tasted amaaaaaazing.
Too much noise due to some repairs going on upstairs. We could not talk to my host.
All these repairs should be done after hours.
Fantastic Sunday night dinner with my wife
The food was good, and overall it was a good value for the food!
The food and service is excellent and they always go out of their way to be helpful.
Fresh delicious Indian cuisine and great service. I love their garlic Nan bread.
The food was so delicious and cheaper compare to other restaurants. I will definitely go again.
A very nice but out of the way location. Clean. Friendly staff. Excellent tasty food.
Just a great authentic Indian restaurant, great menu, excellent staff, food was tasty and hot and served very well. No hassle on time spent and a really enjoyable experience.
As usual whenever we go here, we always have a great time. The food is excellent and so is the service.
It might be a little pricey, but it’s definitely worth it.
First time here, food was awesome. Both the veggie and meat platters were great. Lots of veggie options. Amazing samosas. Only complaint, the waitress could have been slightly more pleasant and I’d recommend putting TVs also near the doors so people can see from both sides of the tables. We will definitely be back.
Wasn't expecting much of a culinary experience given the location, but I was very wrong. The food was fresh, tasty and extremely flavourful. When asking that they keep it mild on the spice, they easily accommodated us while still delivering great flavour. Would definitely recommend it if in the area.
I was so happy to give this restaurant a try. It's great to have such an amazing Indian restaurant close to home I will be returning to try other dishes can't wait! Thank you
Great. Very nice. Keep it up
Amazing food! Service was great and attentive, ordered and ate within an hour without feeling rushed.
Will definitely be back!
The food was fantastic. Very fresh. Loved that a large section of the menu was organic. Will definitely return.
Best Indian food in Vaughan so far. Nice level of spice, and food and presentation were well polished.
Menu had some unusual offerings not seen before in an Indian restaurant. Service was very good with regard to our lovely waitress, however the kitchen needs to coordinate things better so that everyone gets their food at the same time.
Delicious crisp samosas, plenty of piping hot naan and a very extensive range of vegetarian dishes. A good selection of desserts. For a new restaurant it seems to be building up its clientele, and I noticed Skip the Dishes were in and out all evening picking up orders.
Excellent food. Excellent service. What more can I ask for?
