Farm-to-table dining in the comfort of our home: that is the unique experience you will find at Urban Hearth. Located in a cozy North Cambridge storefront, our intimate dining room, knowledgeable, friendly staff, and exquisitely crafted menu are the heart of our dinner service. Join us for a la carte or at our chef's counter where you'll have the pleasure of interacting with Chef Erin Miller while dining.

We share a story of culture, community, discovery and home. The globally-inspired, locally-sourced dishes we serve celebrate our rich and complex connection with food. The table is set, whether marking a special occasion or the end of a busy day, we look forward to sharing the evening with you. We welcome private event bookings for graduations, birthdays, weddings and more. To equalize the pay disparity between tipped staff & kitchen staff during our busy times, we add a 5% kitchen appreciation fee to each check. We require 24 hours notice for all cancellations.

Incredible little gem in Cambridge! From the “life changing” biscuit, to the fresh Maine 🦪 oysters. Every dish we ordered was delicious.

The Counter Experience was great. Watching the chefs make your dishes as well as the others in the restaurant was exciting. The food tasted fantastic and the stories behind the dishes were illuminating.

This was my second time eating at Urban Hearth and first time not doing the tasting menu. Both are amazing options and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Have been here twice before. Loved it the first time but second was just ok. This visit was a disappointment. No dishes that were really great and one was not good. I think for small plates to really work there needs to be something that ties them together rather than just a number if random things.

The food was novel and outstanding. No problems there, would recommend to a friend and return myself. The only problem was the awful wine list. The recommended wine we had did not stand up to the strong flavors of our meal. The selections were very limited and could stand a serious upgrade with professional recommendations.

Culinary delight. Imaginative combinations and great service with a somewhat limited menu. Went there with my adult children. We ordered over half the menu. Everybody loved the shared plates. Now we know why Chef Erin was nominated for a James Beard award. The red wine I ordered was amazing. The cocktail could have been better (YMMV).
