   Fabulous meal start to finish! We ordered 6 shared plates and left delightfully full. My only regret is not getting a biscuit to go!

   Birthday dinner for a dear friend. Food was tasty. More impressive than assumed based on the menu. Might have been my own ignorance. We ordered 6 items for 3 people and it was just enough. Plates are not abundant but the taste was superb. Will come back for sure. Book in advance, it is a small place but very comfortable.

   We shared most items on the menu and enjoyed every single one. Beautifully presented and really interesting flavors. Fun evening!

   We arrived 20 minutes before our reservation and were seated outside promptly. The server came a few minutes later and took care of our drink order and answered questions with some menu items in an effective way. Once the drinks arrived we ordered all five of our dishes. Once she had left I noticed my drink was incorrect, however for the next hour (seriously an hour) no one checked on us or even noticed us. Another 10 minutes go by and we make awkward eye contact with our waitress assuming it was a mistake and the food was never put in. (Mistakes happen, everyone is human) ! . However, the only thing mentioned was that she was sorry for the wait and the bread will be out shortly.. I mentioned my drink was incorrect and she did happily bring the correct drink. When the bread arrived it was cold and had been sitting out for awhile. Next was the salad which was excellent. Then the other dishes came out shortly after. We did find it rather odd the main dish was served second to last with the cabbage coming out last. On top of this, the items seemed to have been an after thought as the dishes that should be warmed even slightly were cold as ice. Personally, I do not hold any person responsible for a mistake and judge a restaurants quality of food on service solely. They did remove our drinks from the bill, which was a kind gesture! However, I was excited to try this restaurant hoping to take my father here for his retirement at their chefs table. However, due to the lack of service I was not able to even inquire about it, as we were to the point of frustration and simply ready to leave. For the price you can get a better meal, experience, and service. I will not be bringing my business nor anyone else’s here.

   Thank you for sharing this important feedback with us. Let me start by sincerely apologizing for this poor experience. You happened to join us on a night where our team was very shorthanded and it was the first night that our patio was officially fully booked. The patio doubles our seating capacity and as a very small team, it always takes us a little time to adjust to this. We were all overwhelmed and unfortunately your experience reflected that. We all care so deeply and work hard every day to provide impeccable service and when we fail to provide it, it truly affects us. I know you said you weren't willing to come back, but I've left a note in your profile and hope you will give us another chance so we can show you the experience we are known for here at Urban Hearth. - Abby, GM

   Online menu is not kept up to date. This is a disservice to customers trying to decide whether to come in or wait until another time.

   We promise we will try to update the menu more frequently. Sometimes the menu changes happen moments before we open the door so it's a challenge to post it online once we are in service. We appreciate your feedback and business.

   Erin Miller, with her very capable team, both surprised and delighted us with creative, perfectly pared ingredients, presented in a manner that astounded our senses. It is NO WONDER that she is a James Beard Finalist!! If I could influence that panel to name her best chef in the Northeast I would!!

    This food was delectable. It is certainly an expensive night out, but the quality and ambiance are the best I've experienced in the area.
