   The food at urban Grill is always very tasty. I had the seafood risotto and it was excellent. My husband had the red snapper in the sauce was a little barbecue-we for his taste. There’s a great wine list we always enjoy the ambience although I recommend going during the week if possible because it can get very noisy on weekends.

   This was a great find in downtown McKinney square. We set outside and enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine and shared a few apps, salad and a dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff were all kind and offered great recommendations. We can’t wait to visit again!

   Another outstanding meal at Urban Grill and Wine Bar. The food was fantastic. We enjoyed appetizers with meatballs, cheese and meat board, and a crab cake. Everything was perfect. Entrees included filet, carbonara, scallops, and halibut. Cooked to perfection, service impeccable. I love the wine list here- always something new to try, with very fair and reasonable markup (by restaurant standards). Great place for a date, night out with friends, celebration, or just wanting a darn good meal. Highly recommended, will be back soon.

   One of the top 3 places I have been too. The food and cocktail was phenomenal. Easy to get in and great service. It was very loud though. That was the only downfall. My wife and I will for sure be back.

   We had dinner here with friends on a Tuesday night, so not crowded. Our server was very good, knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I had the butternut squash risotto with seafood - delicious. Other dishes ordered were the red snapper special, seafood linguini, and the filet. All were excellent. We also love their bar - great cocktails. The wine list is a "bit" pricey - but all good selections.

   Average food and service and poor ambience. Lamb was very chewy and bland, was supposed to have chimichurri sauce but came with very little seasoning. Very loud, could barely hold a conversation due to the large group.

    Our second time here. The first was amazing. This thing food still great but we were brought someone else’s food twice. Our waiter brought us a free dessert for all the confusion. We still will definitely return.

    1st time dining experience at Urban Grill. From arriving and being welcomed warmly to our server, eryone was very professional and so nice. The servers recommendations were helpful and spot on.     Horrible! We booked in advance for a regular table. OpenTable has options to say bar countertop height. We booked a regular table. We were put in the bar area in this tiny counter height bar table. Barely big enough for our plates and glasses. The bar was so loud we could not hear each other. The bar tables are up against the glass front windows so we were in a fishbowl. On the other side of the glass was the outdoor tables so we were smashed up against a window with people inches from us staring at us. I ordered a medium rare steak. It was prepared medium to well. Horrible shoe leather and burnt to a crisp on the outside. Worst experience in McKinney in ten years. Avoid!!!

    Food and service excellent as ever. Swordfish was served with a delicious rice base and the bang bang shrimp was outstanding. Our server Jen was as attentive and knowledgeable as ever.

    This has become our favorite dining in downtown McKinney ! The food is amazing, it never disappoints. The service is exceptional and the bar is top-notch. My husband always orders a seafood dish and raves about it. I’m obsessed with the Mediterranean chicken. Go and you will not be disappointed.

    Excellent service however Beer came warm, perhaps serving on cold mugs will help. Fish was dry, pork was excellent. Place was a bit over-crowded (too many tables) and loud.

    We’ve been to urban Grill a number of times and really enjoy it. This is the first time we’ve been there on a weekend and it was extremely noisy. If you go, try to go during the week so that you can talk easily with the other members of your party.

    Went for my birthday month asked before ordering if I could sub out rice on the Jamaican jerked red snapper …. They subbed out ALL rice ALL vegetables and ALL plantains! Why? Who knows! Just bc I don’t eat rice I received a boring plate of spiced red snapper with no “Jamaican flavor” and a ridiculously large side of sweet potato fries that were just ordinary. And servers only comment was “should have let me know” …. “I only requested Mitch sub out rice”… way to place the blame on someone else when the server is the one that should be taking care of the diner!

    My wife and i had planned to meet for dinner in downtown McKinney after she finished up an appointment. We had 6:30 reservations but arrived 30 minutes early and were seated promptly. They have a great menu that included gluten free pasta options and a great choice of meat dishes as well. They flavors on both our salads and entrees were unbeatable. Keith was our waiter and he was very helpful and attentive. I highly recommend and will return.

    This is our favorite place in downtown MxKinney ! The food is excellent and beautifully presented, The staff is amazing and so personal and professional. We love sitting at the bar and enjoying a delicious cocktail and taking in the cool vibes of the place. I definitely recommend this place. Nice for a high end, trendy restaurant.

    I’m Gluten Free. The waiter couldn’t answer all my questions about ingredients so the cook came out. That was a great customer service. We figured out ingredients for a semi custom dish. Here’s the problem, I was sick as a dog all night long. I’ll NEVER eat there EVER again 😣
