We went to Urban Farmer for the first time for my husband's birthday. My steak wasn't cooked properly and had to be sent back 4 times and when it finally came back, it was tough and overcooked. My husband loved my meal, but my mom's pork was too salty. I also asked for sparkling water 3 times and received flat Voss sparkling water. The manager did take a significant portion off our bill, but we won't be returning.

The dry aged and wagyu ribeye are supreme. This is a great steakhouse for the simple reason of variety of steaks. There are several cuts and styles to choose from with a great accompanying wine list. Listen to staff recommendations as they are great!

I thought this place was just ok... I ordered the New York steak sampler. I really only enjoyed one of the samples. My salad was delicious though (heirloom tomato). Service was great.

Wonderful restaurant and ambiance! The breakfast food was so fresh and flavorful! I had the vegetable frittata and my husband had the oatmeal, which he said was nothing like he had ever had! It was so good! Then he had the blueberry pancakes. The service was the best! My only wish is that they had other milk alternatives like Oat and Hemp for their lattes! It was our favorite breakfast so far! ♥️

Urban Farmer was amazing. The use only local farms for their ingredients. We had the corn soup, grass fed ribeye, and shrimp cocktail. we will definitely return next time we are in Portland.

Amazing salads and vinaigrettes. Get anything seasonal. New York Steak Tasting will easily feed 4-5. Angela Winery Urban Farmer Pivot Noir was excellent with the steak and the pork. The ambiance was unique as the restaurant was nestled in an atrium on the 8th floor of the Nines hotel. Make sure to go to the15th floor and checkout the view of the city. A night to remember.

The service was amazing. Casey was very attentive, and made us feel so good about our experience. The cheese cart service was awesome, and the cheese was delicious. The cocktails were outstanding. Best whiskey sour in PDX! Thank you for everything!

The service was amazing! I noted that it was my birthday and they immediately served complimentary champagne. The dessert was so bliss, that I was tempted to return before the day was over. I will definitely dine here again in the future.

Great modern steak house (and more). Great service at the bar and table. Congrats Urban Farmer on the fine collection of whiskey. Our food was top-notch from the salad through dessert. Urban Farmer moves onto our list of 'one of our favorites' in Portland. Can't recommend it enough.

Amazing ambience and actually quiet enough to talk. Great service although toward the end got a little slower because they were getting busier. Salad and cornbread delicious. Very expensive steak was a little too cold and bland. Cooked to a perfect medium rare. Minimal seasoning and no salt and pepper on the table (I guess salting the meat is a no no now? I am obviously out of touch). I enjoyed the experience and would go again for the ambience but because steak was so expensive and actually not great, would probably hesitate to go again.

Food was ok. I liked my halibut but wasn’t the best. My hubby ordered the wagyu 7X from Colorado. It was undercooked and we asked to cook it more. It wasn’t tender as wagyu should be and had vein/gristle, not worth $$. We had wagyu before and this was not up to par. The sides of potato purée and foraged mushrooms were good. The best part of the meal was the cornbread and accompanying butter. Service was ok, a little pretentious IMO.

Great food, service wonderful, on point, not pretentious, knowledgeable. The cheese cart is great, duck, pork was amazing. Breakfast exceeded my expectations.

Their service was exceptional! The drinks were delicious and their cornbread was delightful, however that’s where it ended for me. The texture of my tenderloin was buttery and delicious, but it was over salted and served lukewarm. Additionally there was too much acid in their special salad—poor balance of flavors. For the price, I expected more. That’s being said, the restaurant was beautiful, clean, and the food was obviously very fresh. My prior (and first) experience here was the same: overly salted.

What a hidden gem! I was not expecting the outdoor feeling inside a hotel but the atrium space was gorgeous. The menu had many surprising and playful elements and all the food was delicious. My only feedback, I enjoy a true medium rare steak, but mine was a little undercooked. It could have used 1 or 2 more minutes, but was still edible to me, just more rare than a text book medium rare.

The food was great - but very expensive. This was a birthday dinner - included note in reservation and told server - but nothing was done - it wasn’t even mentioned. It was a nice setting even though it was in a hotel - but all the plants were fake - so it kind of ruined the “farm to table” atmosphere.

Fantastic food. We had the steak selection which gave us the chance to try 3 different cuts. Highly recommend. The salad and fries were also awesome.

Surprising atmosphere welcomed us, WOW!
Greeted by charming lady, and our waiter demonstrated his belief in “Farm to Table” approach quite enthusiastically. Quite charming. Then came Hefe-weizen, one after another. Good start! Six of us ate steaks of various cuts, and all were good, except the one served medium. It was closer to well done and quite dry. Others were very good.

The steaks were on the dry side. Halibut nice and pea hummus fun. Cornbread fun and bok choy good. Atmosphere too much like a hotel and for the cost of food expected different. Drinks were unremarkable and service slow and very slow for couple next to use whose food arrived long after ours though they were there when we arrived.

El valet Parking cobra 20 dólares
El lugar es bonito, aunque da mucho el sol y llega a ser molesto.
Tardaron más de 50 minutos en servir nuestra comida, que solo eran ensaladas, además trajeron la comida sin respetar tiempos y también órdenes incompletas. El servicio es pésimo desde el Valet, la hostess, meseros....
No vale lo que cuesta.

My organization hosted a dinner for 12 of our clients. The meal was excellent and the service superb. they took care of us in a timely manner and in addition they were great fun. It was a most enjoyable evening.

Food just misses the mark. Nothing exceptional, which for the prices they charge is disappointing. El Gaucho or Ruth’s Chris are way better choices.

I took my niece for her birthday. She ordered a steak. Normally she eats her beef well done. She tried medium on the advice of our server as the best way to eat her cut. It was too pink, so our server took care of getting it a little bit more done. No fuss, no muss. And my niece enjoyed her meal.

The desserts were awesome. We had a butterscotch extravaganza and a crème brulee and shared. Overall, it was a great dinner after seeing "Wicked".

We had a fabulous meal Each of us ordered a different cut and feed of steak and loved them all. We had two amazing desserts! Great wine list. LOVED the atmosphere. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Overall, service was pretty good but the food wasn’t. Our entrées and salad were very salty. We ended up feeling sick later that night after our meal.
