   We were not impressed by the loudness of the open room. There were too many tables in the small room. Because the prices were very high, we were surprised that there was no complimentary bread or rolls. The "large plate" servings were very small. My dish was luke warm at best. At the end of the night when our bill came it included 3 desserts that we didn't order, so it was lucky that I reviewed the bill. It was our daughter's birthday, and the server came out with what looked like a thimble full of whip cream - very underwhelming.

   Normally I really enjoy the food here. This time I wasn’t so impressed. I had the special ; a lamb sirloin -ordered medium. It came served very rare, was served sliced with a copious amount of soft and chewy white fat throughout , which was horrid on the palate-really it was inedible. Served on a fantastic cheese polenta which was creamy and delicious. However, the polenta had candied Brussels sprouts hurried throughout it - which was an odd texture and flavour combination. I couldn’t distinguish or appreciate the lovely flavour of the sprouts on their own.

   It was my third or fourth time to Urban Dish in as many years. I drive up from Aurora. I love the small restaurant feel, the family owned and run, tablecloths and candles and nice ambience. Service is always top notch. It is quiet and we can enjoy our conversation unlike some bigger restaurants. Menu is very big on gluten-free and dairy-free which we appreciate. Wish I lived closer I would go way more often. Keep up the good work!

   Great service, great food, great experience... Perfect for a family birthday dinner! Great cocktails and the right recommendations sealed the deal!

   no not much food for the cost slow service very loud and overall the food is okay at best

   The service was amazing, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere was romantic. It was a great place to celebrate our anniversary. We’ll definitely come again!
