   Jehni is the best! We love coming here for the wonderful food, excellent ambiance, and the great staff. Urban Decanter is a real jewel in downtown Forest Grove.

   We drove over 40 minutes to visit this place based on the reviews. My meal was delicious. My wife's meal was undercooked and they did replace it. The appetizer was delicious and the wine was nice as well. However, when we arrived we were seated in a small table either near the bar where the chairs are so close to the aisle I was afraid I would take an elbow from passers by. When we asked for another table, we we taken to the other small table in the place. A larger table sat empty through our entire meal. They had many excuses for their slow service. "Half our staff has Covid" and "the cook burnt her hand". That may have all been true, but all in all, it was not a nice dinner.

    Everything that my party of 4 ordered was delicious, fresh, flavorful and filling. I was impressed and will definitely return. Note: having been in the industry for over 4 decades I am rather discerning and perhaps a bit picky and it is not easy to impress me so I give accolades to this small, local business doing it right.

    Always excellent the second we walk in the door. Fabulous team that greets you with smiles and warmly even when slammed. There is an lovely delicious wine and bubbles selection and Top notch cocktail list as well. These gals know their stuff. Food is always spot on and made with care that you can taste! It’s our favorite place in wine country. High standards but unpretentious and welcoming. What more can ya ask for?

    If a menu has a “ask about our wine pairing” note, one does not expect the server, upon being asked, to panic. Wine was good, food was solidly okay, pairings were to the benefit of neither the wine nor the food, which was a shame.

    We were delighted to see this restaurant in Forest Grove! We found the other positive reviews accurate and were very pleased with the food. The Butternut Squash Risotto was some of the best I’ve had. Manicotti and Meatballs Appetizer were very tasty as well; a little on the spicy side. Would prefer see more high-end options for Wine by the Glass. Service excellent and atmosphere is casual. Will return because we didn’t get dessert and the Tiramisu looked amazing! The restaurant is worth the drive if you don’t live in the area!

    The server was really helpful in selecting wine, and the food was good. However we were disappointed that they were out of a large number of the things on their menu that we had looked forward to ordering. Since it was the beginning of dinner on a Friday it seemed odd that they wouldn't have planned ahead better.

    Our first time dining here. The service was okay - the servers also hostess so its kind of hectic, but they are friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and well prepared. The menu is a bit thin but what they have is very good. Overall quite good for this town.

    By far the best restaurant in Forest Grove. Charming atmosphere, absolutely wonderful food (a relatively small menu all excellently prepared), great wait staff, fun cocktails, beers on tap and a very ample wine list (local and international). My wife and I have become regulars. Please come frequent this fantastic restaurant and keep their business thriving!

    Urban Decanter is our favorite spot in Forest grove! The menu is fresh and the food is amazing. You must must must try the burrata and the meatballs. The wine selection and wine club are top notch. The owner (Jill) and everyone who works here are so friendly and knowledgeable….I trust them to pick our wine every time we go, and I’ve never been disappointed.
