   Very quiet restaurant, not a ton of foot traffic, which was pleasant for conversation. Food was good, but cocktails weren’t great. Despite being relatively empty, the food took a while to get out of the kitchen even though our order was relatively simple (Caesar salad, chicken sandwich, lobster roll).

   I would love to say I enjoyed my birthday dinner at Urban Cove, but I did not get to eat there. Instead, after taking the subway and walking more than 10 minutes I got there to find out the restaurant was closed, after I was allowed to make the reservation online. Two gentlemen inside stared at me blankly and said they’d have to get marketing to fix the issue, rather than offering any assistance. After walking back outside, one man came out to offer some other recommendations. Overall an extremely unpleasant and unfortunate experience that does not make me want to go back.

   We used a Groupon voucher for dinner. Food was excellent, although the Groupon was quite limiting for choices, BUT what we’d have was quite delicious.

   Took 45 mins to get food - eggs and chicken and waffles, nothing crazy. No apology or acknowledgement of the wait, could see other tables around us complaining about the wait and the quality of the food. There were no more than 8 tables in the restaurant so unsure what the holdup was. Waffle was hard and crumbly. Sausage had no flavor and was likely microwaved, didn’t even taste like sausage. Would not go back.

   The atmosphere at Urban Cove Society&Kitchen was welcoming, sleek, modern and cozy making it one of the best restaurants to go to for an intimate dinner. The service was superb! Our waiter Abdul was attentive, with top quality drinks. Overall, highly recommend && definitely looking forward to coming back.

   Service was good and the waitress was very attentive. Then my issue was the door. It stayed open and closed very slowly, letting all the wind in.

   Urban Cove was such a beautiful experience. The ambiance is 10/10 and I will definitely be coming back for dinners , cocktails , and so much more.

   Super disappointed. Three of us went for brunch. Two of us waited one hour for our meal and the other an additional ten minutes. This was not due to a busy kitchen whatsoever. There were only three other tables there, two of which already had their food. If the meals were good it would’ve been OK but they were less than passable. My Eggs Benedict were over cooked and not runny like they should be. The Chicken Sandwich lacked any real spice or flavor and the Chicken and Waffles had way too much going on (Hollandaise sauce, syrup, poached egg..) and none of it is was cohesive. Finally, to be considerate, we called to let them know we would be ten minutes late (twice) and no one answered the phone.. yet when I gave my name, they knew that I called. (?) Urban Cove Society is really poorly run and that’s sad because it’s in a great location and could have great potential.

    Urban is in a hotel. They don't open until 11 on weekends. Turns out my reservation was at Alcove - the hotel bar/restaurant. Not the vibe we wanted. Sterile ambience. Great food, great apologetic service (definitely not their fault). Urban should really update open table!
