Pizza and salad were great. Sat our in the parking lot under a tent which for now seems to be the norm at a lot of restaurants. Would go back.
We went for brunch and it was not the same experience we had for dinner or lunch. The eggs were cold and there was a new waitress that got the order wrong, the order was also 3 dollars more than what we ordered. The bloody Mary’s were great, the best part of the meal. The girl training the new girl offered to pay out of pocket for our meal that of course we refused but a manager should’ve been watching over the situation more and handled it better. We paid for our food that was incorrect and ate it but lesson learned no brunch here again. Stick with lunch and dinner. Also missing happy hour specials of before Covid, I wish they would make a return.
Food & service were great! The garlic bread was the best!
Even with the outside Covid dining, everything was wonderful.
Server was new and made every effort do be perfect and she was. Ambiance is as good as it gets these days. Comfortable seats and spacing. 2 adult women shared the Balsamic Calamari and Danielle Pizza. More than enough. Cocktails & food, all well priced.
For and service were great. Noise level wasn't bad except for the patron at the table next to us. His favorite word was the "F" bomb. That wasn't pleasant.
We apologize for the rude guest nearby, we do appreciate the positive feedback on your dining experience and we hope to see you soon at Urban in Brick!!
The food and the service at Urban Coal House are always at its Best,,,,,,
We were happy to serve you, thanks for the great response!
Gavin the bartender and the waitress girl and Food,,, were at its Best,,,👌👌👌👌
Great experience. Food was great. Service was excellent
We love dining at Urban Coalhouse. Great food, atmosphere and awesome service. Our server Bianca was excellent. She was an excellent hostess in the past and now is an exceptional server. Kudos the management team for training such exceptional staff.
Keep up the great work!
love the craft beer selections but would like to see more continuous porter or stout choices
Love the pizza, especially the Don Gregorio. We like to sit in Irma’s section, she is our favorite waitress!
Love the pizza!
It was ok. The margarita pizza I had was bland...had to add salt, which I don't often do at restaurants. The chicken soup was delicious. Most in my party liked it for the most part. I would go back and try something different.
Great pizza! Irma is great server. Takes good care of us and always makes us laugh.
Great very good food and service
Norma is the best waitress and the food is always delicious
Norma is the reason to go! I adore her!!!!! Food was good.
The hostess was very accommodating in promptly seating our group. great service & food, and awesome managers!
Every time we visit our daughter who attends Stetson University we make it a point to have dinner at Urban. Never disappoints. The owner and her crew are very attentive to their guest.
The pizzas are always great and Mike always provides exceptional service!
Kitchen/wait staff needs to coordinate delivery of meals better. Second time in two weeks one person received their order significantly earlier than the three others. Also, table bussing is poor. Shouldn't have to ask to have table cleared as main order is arriving. I like this place, but they've got to pay more attention to the basics
Great management, food and awesome service. The hostesses make you feel welcome as soon as we arrive and our server, Mike was also exceptional!
This is our usual Friday night date spot... wings are OUTSTANDING... good food friendly wait staff ALWAYS... thank you!
Best best wings.... delicious pizza and our server Megan is great.
We enjoyed sitting at dining table, but better value at bartops. Food and service always good
Overpriced. Not great food. Server was good, but man overpriced.
We were there on a Saturday afternoon for brunch. Food was great, service was prompt & friendly. We will be back.
Great food, atmosphere and happy hour specials but the exceptional service staff really makes this a great place for casual dining and drinks.
All pizzas were missing basil as described menu. Bar had incredibley difficult time getting a drink order of scotch on the rocks! Sent back 3 times! The bartender kept putting 7 up in it!!!!!! Waitress was great 😊
Urban Coalhouse is always a good spot for tasty eats and good craft beer.
Love the free wings coupons and Justin and Gavin are good hosts.
Liz was a wonderful waitress for our challenging group. She knows the menu exceptionally well, made winning, tasty recommendations and helped accommodate several special requests. Happy hour is a great value.
Great food and great service
Pizza Great....Wings Great - but do not overlook the salads - especially the Apple Salad. You can have all your guilty pleasures without feeling guilty!
VERY good pizza - and excellent service. One suggestion would be to start to carry gluten free pasta. I can't wait to go back again.
top notch but limited menu. solid classics and great roasted brussel spouts
Wings were burnt, pizza nothing special.
The place was less than half full, empty tables everywhere, and they seat us right next to a loud table of 8. The obviously inexperienced waitress took our appetizer order first, then came back for entree/pizza order, and while the apps did arrive first, the pizza arrived seconds after we just started in on the apps. She should have waited till we were done with the apps to put in the order for the pizza (which takes minutes to cook in a coal fired oven). When we were done with the apps, we had to clear them away ourselves onto the nearest empty table, so we could start eating our now cold pizza (should they change the name to Urban Coldhouse Pizza?). When we asked for seasonings for the pizza (we should NOT have to ask, they should be offered), the grated cheese jar was about 10% full - with all the large pieces of cheese which can't shake out through the holes in the top. Oh and my wife's $9 glass of house red wine was like 4 oz. - I know heart healthy beef sizing should be smaller than a woman's fist, but a glass of $9 pizza place house wine? The dirty app plates stayed on the table next to us the whole time, multiple passes by our waitress garnered not even a glance at them. And lastly, another waitress sat down across from us in our section to go through her evenings haul of tips - real classy. Food? Wings and pizza (their specialty) were mediocre at best. Wings were cool, only hot where they rested on the hot plate - they must pre-cook all the wings during the day, just placing them on a hot metal plate that is heated in the oven at time of order. Caramelized onions on top were were more mushy than caramelized. And the requested complimentary hot pepper was missing (server error or cook?). Pizza may have been good if it were hot, but as stated above we had to eat it cold. I do know the crust away from the edges was a bit chewy for coal fired pizza expectations. Toppings were ample, the lone highlight. Overall a very disappointing experience.
