It was my Anniversary and I informed this during my booking. There was no special table arranged and nobody greeted. It was the worst in terms of experience. Will never visit in future.

Was really craving Thai which is hard to get in Shanghai so I figured surely this famous Thai hotel brand should have good food. It wasn't unfortunately. Portions are kinda small which is fine but the flavors are very bland. They sat us in the corner and forgot about us. Waiter forgot a beverage so I canceled it in the end. Had to hunt them down to pay the bill. Really not 5 star level unfortunately.

Food was really good in general, except the pork knuckle was unfortunately a disappointment. The skin was rubbery and the meat was too hard. Dessert: Cendol on the other hand wasn’t quite what we anticipated, perhaps just stay as authentic as it should have been rather than this quirky version - oh, the crushed ice chunks made it hard to eat too...
