Service was great, tables were spread out and I felt comfortable eating out during Covid. Food was delicious!

We had a nice quiet Sunday evening birthday dinner with friends. The tropical rainstorm I believe kept other diners away. Very attentive service, really great food and wine. Definitely will be back!

Waiter was but really attentive and had time to hold long conversations with people he knew rather than check on customers. However, the manager was very helpful.

This was the first time my husband and I have eaten dinner here and we were very happy with the food and service provided at urban kitchen. The menu is extensive and varied and the food is very well prepared and fresh.
Serving sizes are generous
We will definitely be back to try more of their offerings.

We tried out this restaurant because of Houston Restaurant Week. We like to try new restaurants during this time and we sometimes find some great ones. Like, Urban American Kitchen! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! My husband got the HRW menu options. I chose off that menu. Both were excellent

The food could have been much better! We had to send something back because it just wasn’t good. I had chicken wings and waffles which I thought was an odd thing. These didn’t have hardly any meat so I wouldn’t recommend. They did very kindly replace our meal and service was attentive

The food was fantastic. This was our second trip in three weeks. Both times the service was excellent and the food, even better.

The HRW menu had choices that my friend and I both enjoyed very much. She had ceviche and the red fish. I had the jicama salad and pork ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. Have decided it is a cut I will try at home.

We met with friends to celebrate a personal victory. Made reservations and they were ready for us. The manager was also the waiter, the to go order person and the “go to” person for everything. The food was ok but we had to wait to get tea, ordered wine they didn’t have, tried another bottle of wine and they only had one. Food took more than 50 minutes to come after we ordered. Ambiance was little to none.

I have been here in the past and really enjoyed it. After this experience, we won’t hurry back.

We shared a wonderful girls’ dinner out together. With this Covid stuff, we have missed each other. The restaurant was sparse and we socially distanced ourselves. Our food and service were fabulous as always! We wanted to support “Local” and so we did!

Sat outside. It was quiet, cool and separated from other diners. Food was great. Glad they are open again for in-house dining.

Always fresh food and friendly service. Took a client there who hadn't been before and he was impressed. THEY NEED YOUR SUPPORT SO GO EAT THERE! Neighborhood gems are hard to come by.

Fast friendly service. Healthy food

We went for Brunch. Place was empty at 10 am. A few diners came in while we were there.
Scrambled eggs and bacon were just ok
Husbands over medium eggs had hard yellows
His steak was ok
Grits tasted like instant. Very powdery and lukewarm
Biscuits and gravy were blah. Biscuits tasted canned and warmed over and gravy tasted packaged. Both were less than lukewarm
Crepes with fig and Brie were good but the Brie could’ve been melted a little more.
Chicken and waffles not special. Waffle was tough and chicken a little too salty
My Bloody Mary was good. Waiter was pleasant and attentive.
I will not revisit. Would not recommend it.

The food was very good and we will be back for more of their outstanding salads. My only concern was a table placed so close to our table, the other diners kept bumping my dinner companion's chair.

I used to like this place but brunch food quality was very low. It’s lower prices, so I’m not expecting much but still. Bland yet overly salty.
