Great atmosphere on Valentines Day, with terrific singer/ piano player.
Open tables everywhere and we get seated by the kitchen 😔
This place is excellent. If you haven't checked it out you should.
From where we were sitting, we could hear not only conversations in the lobby, but also kids screaming and playing in the pool.
The live music was way too loud that we couldn’t hold a conversation at a normal volume.
The food was okay, but nothing exceptional. The appetizer was better than both entrees.
The overall experience was average at best. Not like we spent a fortune, but for $65 I’d expect a better experience.
Liked some of the updating at Urban 42 but it kept the dining room wide open. It felt like we didn't have much privacy and were hearing other tables and could even see the doors to the kitchen. Set up was just a little off for a high end dinner spot. The main dinner was excellent. Filet perfectly made. The creme brulee wasn't enjoyable since the creme was ice cold and seemed out of place with the crispy sugar topping which was slightly warm.
Staff was great. Food was very good. We enjoyed the evening. Thank You.
Great music! Love the band. Was surprised the meal was not shown on the web page so as to know the special menu for New Years Eve.
The food was amazing. Presentation, quality and flavor was outstanding. I could not leave anything on my plate. The mixologist made me the best Manhattan I have ever had and provided me with a choice of rye, whisky or bourbon. They also used the luxardo cherries which were delightful. I would highly recommend Urban 42. Definitely not your typical hotel restaurant experience.
Family met for early Christmas celebration lunch. Restaurant didn’t have our reservation or table ready so we had to wait even though there was no one else in the restaurant. We had to wait a long time for our order to be taken, refreshments to be refilled, and food to be delivered. This was strange because we were the only table in the restaurant. Other than poor service, we had a good experience.
The Waitress, the Nigerian Girl was AMAZING!!! Very friendly. Food was good! Very quiet, overall a great place . A little pricy so bring atleast a $100.
Wait staff was unknowledgeable about menu. Service was very slow, it was not by any means busy. It was however very clean and quiet. Over priced for the food you get. Entrees are small portioned.
We loved our time there! We were able to visit and totally enjoy the food and be pampered. Between Monte and Joe they kept us so completely comfortable. Water, wine glasses filled..and the food was Yum...and more Yuml!!
It was a joy to be able to come to a restaurant and not have to yell at each other to visit and be served so professionally.
Again, we all loved our evening. Thank you so much!!
Excellent food and service. Nice menu choices! Great behaves, as well!
Was very wonderful although there was babies and children that were crying of course you could never expect that so was hard to hear our conversation over kids crying
Great waiter, Jason. Great food and overall a pleasant experience.
An apparently revised restaurant, we found the service from Joe to be excellent, the food selections to be interesting and delicious. The quinoa and black bead salmon Bowl was a favorite
Two of the three dishes didn’t come out with all ingredients. Jack hammering was happening above us and they didn’t have our reservation
Food must have been cooked by amateurs. Chicken tasted like water. Meal should have cost $10 instead of $25.
They had 4 entries and 3 were sold out, the 4th also became sold out by the time the order arrived. I would have understood had the place been very busy but it was very quiet. The service was slow, and the waitress (though trying her very best)... was not well trained, which is not her fault.
We had the buffet, which was low on fruit and the pancakes were tough, nothing was very hot:(
Our waiter did a great job being professional, but had little pep in his step. There was a long wait from sitting down to ordering. Our food came out cold. After the food came, never came back around until we were ready to leave.
The atmosphere is very nice, they did a great job with the remodel. However, The Sunday brunch was very disappointing to say the least! Service was ok, they were polite, but clearly understaffed. The food... TERRIBLE! And most of the buffet was empty throughout our visit. It is very overpriced. I'm sorry to say we will never dine here again.
Great service and food. The whole experience was wonderful!
The steaks were good. The cocktails were good. All of the sides were cold. The meatloaf was horrible. What are the steaks was severely Overcooked. It's really too bad because this is a nice restaurant.
Just underwhelming. Met with family there for a nice lunch after reading all the reviews, but will not go back. Front door staff was nice, server and service was awkward and food was meh. The sweet potato quinoa burger was just a mooshy glob on a bun and definitely needed some sort of sauce... Fries were cold... crab looked like it came out of a can... veggies looked past their prime. It wasn’t terrible but definitely NOT worth the prices on the menu and not worth trying again.
4 of us met for breakfast at 9:30 am on Saturday morning. I had made a reservation on open table and they couldn't find it. Luckily it wasn't busy. We decided to try the buffet which supposedly started at 9 am. Eggs were dry, no plates were out we had to ask for plates. We had to ask them for the waffles because they were out.
Bacon was good and so were the waffles when they got them to the table. Coffee was great. A disappointing buffet for $14.95
When we arrived for our dinner reservation we waited at the host stand for several minutes with at least 4 staff people walking by us as well as the manager with no acknowledgment. Finally about 5 minutes later one of the servers came to us and said the kitchen is "slammed" and it will be at least a 15 minute wait for the food. We decided to wait in the lounge that was adjacent to the restaurant. We sat for 30 minutes in the bar, during that time we saw bartender and manager bickering to each other and guests at the restaurant waiting for over 30 minutes with no food. Staff were overwhelmed and the impression we received was they did not want any more customers. Customer service was very poor. We decided to leave and eat elsewhere. We appreciate the server's honesty as if we had been seated and waited for 30 minutes for the food to arrive our evening would have been ruined. I felt sorry for the guests that had to wait so long and could not leave.
Excellent Sunday brunch with very good service. Great opportunity to visit with friends in a relaxing environment. Definitely will return.
We have loved staying at the Ramada/Delta and eating at Bassie's/Urban 42 because of the good memories we have had there over many years. The Whiskey Crab Bisque is the best! Our server Joe is always so kind and accommodating. Monte is one of our favorite people. They take very good care of us there, even if we are only in town two or three times per year.
Slow service but great food!
