During our stay at the Delta Hotel we had dinner and breakfast at Urban 42. Both meals were delicious. The fish tacos were amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant!
In today’s world I understand but we waited for 15 minutes at the host stand to get acknowledged and brought to a table
Food looked like it was packaged food. Spent $40 for a filet but looked like it was a plastic garbage
Urban 42 is a classy restaurant with an excellent ambiance. The food they serve is delicious.
We ate at the Mother's Day buffet at 1 p.m. The only fruit they had were chocolate dipped strawberries and grapefruit. Supposed to be a tray of fresh fruits. Later they brought a bowl of cantaloupe and one of honeydew. The desserts were great and the hot food was good also except for the meat. The pork loin was so dry thinly cut so was hard to swallow and tough. The chicken also was dry also but at least had something moist over it. They seemed too short-staffed also for waiting tables. Was not what I expected for $32.
To put it simply, the food was subpar, both in quality and in type selection. I sent my wife and mother-in-law here for Mother's Day brunch and hearing their report, I completely regret this decision. Not worth the money or disappointment
Mother's day brunch. First, our table was directly in front of where people walk in to be seated. It's not comfortable to have people watching you eat while they are waiting to be sat. Second, service was not great at all. Is water the only thing we could order non alcoholic? Still don't know because we were never formally greated by a server. Ran out out of water and took awhile to get refills. Maybe they are understaffed? Lastly, the food was very disappointing. The only breakfast option was scrambled eggs. Thats it! Donuts and fruit don't count, which they had. We had five kids with us ages from 5-16 and they barely ate anything. Simple dishes for the kids would not be a stretch.
The room was nice, the two host ladies were nice. For the amout of money I spent I know there are better options.
They lost the reservation so we were forced to leave and eat elsewhere.
Great atmosphere, great food but limited selection of choice
We had a horrible experience. We waited 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. After we got our drinks, it took over an hour for us to get our food. When our food came out, it was wrong. There were people around us that arrived after us, ordered before us, and got their food much before we did. The restaurant was not busy. Some tables had multiple waiters and would repeat “have you been helped?”. We will not be back.
My husband and I arrived in time for our 6:30 reservation and we took about 10 minutes to figure out what we wanted and it took about an hour to get our food our waitress not once asked how our food was or refill our drinks. The hostess was not wearing a mask and she was getting in close proximity to customers. Service was rude as hell. Food tasted like it was sitting under a heat lamp. My husbands burger was so salty he could only eat half of it my fillet was over cooked. Took another 20 minutes to get desert a tiny chocolate lava cake that im sure was microwaved. 10/10 would not recommend.
Had great time and the brunch was wonderful!
It was so unfortunate because the Food and Cocktails were INCREDIBLE, however the service was basically non existent. We have to waive over someone to take our drink order after we got sat and waited about 10 mins. Same thing for dinner order. It didn't seem busy and they must have prepared for Valentines traffic since they had a valentines menu but just such a bummer due to service when the food is SOOOO GOOD!
The service was absolutely terrible. Our server was also the only bartender (she was serving about 40 people alone). The other 3 servers only had a couple of tables, but wouldn’t help us or the bartender out. The manager was only acting like a host. My food only had one tasty element, and it was the duck leg. The overall atmosphere feels like an airport bar with the business we were facing in the lobby.
The risotto was excellent. The smoked salmon was strong but it was dry but then again it was smoked salmon.
Great atmosphere on Valentines Day, with terrific singer/ piano player.
Open tables everywhere and we get seated by the kitchen 😔
This place is excellent. If you haven't checked it out you should.
From where we were sitting, we could hear not only conversations in the lobby, but also kids screaming and playing in the pool.
The live music was way too loud that we couldn’t hold a conversation at a normal volume.
The food was okay, but nothing exceptional. The appetizer was better than both entrees.
The overall experience was average at best. Not like we spent a fortune, but for $65 I’d expect a better experience.
Liked some of the updating at Urban 42 but it kept the dining room wide open. It felt like we didn't have much privacy and were hearing other tables and could even see the doors to the kitchen. Set up was just a little off for a high end dinner spot. The main dinner was excellent. Filet perfectly made. The creme brulee wasn't enjoyable since the creme was ice cold and seemed out of place with the crispy sugar topping which was slightly warm.
Staff was great. Food was very good. We enjoyed the evening. Thank You.
Great music! Love the band. Was surprised the meal was not shown on the web page so as to know the special menu for New Years Eve.
The food was amazing. Presentation, quality and flavor was outstanding. I could not leave anything on my plate. The mixologist made me the best Manhattan I have ever had and provided me with a choice of rye, whisky or bourbon. They also used the luxardo cherries which were delightful. I would highly recommend Urban 42. Definitely not your typical hotel restaurant experience.
Family met for early Christmas celebration lunch. Restaurant didn’t have our reservation or table ready so we had to wait even though there was no one else in the restaurant. We had to wait a long time for our order to be taken, refreshments to be refilled, and food to be delivered. This was strange because we were the only table in the restaurant. Other than poor service, we had a good experience.
The Waitress, the Nigerian Girl was AMAZING!!! Very friendly. Food was good! Very quiet, overall a great place . A little pricy so bring atleast a $100.
Wait staff was unknowledgeable about menu. Service was very slow, it was not by any means busy. It was however very clean and quiet. Over priced for the food you get. Entrees are small portioned.
We loved our time there! We were able to visit and totally enjoy the food and be pampered. Between Monte and Joe they kept us so completely comfortable. Water, wine glasses filled..and the food was Yum...and more Yuml!!
It was a joy to be able to come to a restaurant and not have to yell at each other to visit and be served so professionally.
Again, we all loved our evening. Thank you so much!!
Excellent food and service. Nice menu choices! Great behaves, as well!
Was very wonderful although there was babies and children that were crying of course you could never expect that so was hard to hear our conversation over kids crying
Great waiter, Jason. Great food and overall a pleasant experience.
An apparently revised restaurant, we found the service from Joe to be excellent, the food selections to be interesting and delicious. The quinoa and black bead salmon Bowl was a favorite
Two of the three dishes didn’t come out with all ingredients. Jack hammering was happening above us and they didn’t have our reservation
Food must have been cooked by amateurs. Chicken tasted like water. Meal should have cost $10 instead of $25.
They had 4 entries and 3 were sold out, the 4th also became sold out by the time the order arrived. I would have understood had the place been very busy but it was very quiet. The service was slow, and the waitress (though trying her very best)... was not well trained, which is not her fault.
We had the buffet, which was low on fruit and the pancakes were tough, nothing was very hot:(
Our waiter did a great job being professional, but had little pep in his step. There was a long wait from sitting down to ordering. Our food came out cold. After the food came, never came back around until we were ready to leave.
The atmosphere is very nice, they did a great job with the remodel. However, The Sunday brunch was very disappointing to say the least! Service was ok, they were polite, but clearly understaffed. The food... TERRIBLE! And most of the buffet was empty throughout our visit. It is very overpriced. I'm sorry to say we will never dine here again.
Great service and food. The whole experience was wonderful!
The steaks were good. The cocktails were good. All of the sides were cold. The meatloaf was horrible. What are the steaks was severely Overcooked. It's really too bad because this is a nice restaurant.
Just underwhelming. Met with family there for a nice lunch after reading all the reviews, but will not go back. Front door staff was nice, server and service was awkward and food was meh. The sweet potato quinoa burger was just a mooshy glob on a bun and definitely needed some sort of sauce... Fries were cold... crab looked like it came out of a can... veggies looked past their prime. It wasn’t terrible but definitely NOT worth the prices on the menu and not worth trying again.
