Quick service and great place with nibbles and drinks for a neighborhood happy hour!
Food was good, although not particularly memorable. I appreciated that they had iced coffee. Service was very slow. Servers were working extremely hard; it just seemed like there was a lot of confusion and/or maybe they were understaffed.
So pleasantly surprised at how incredibly delicious and perfect our meal was. Gazpacho appetizer was flawless, Salmon Crudio delectable, and both entrees were perfectly cooked and seasoned. I am a chef and shop at the meat and seafood markets frequently but this was my first time at the restaurant. Needless to say my steak and partners fish entrees were fresh and high quality. Spanish rose' was fab too. Keep thinking about how I need to get back there soon. Do try this place. Healthy Spanish menu. Love.
We had a lovely brunch at the Uptown Market restaurant - excellent service and a good selection of dishes. We all ended up having the salmon/shrimp burgers, which were delicious. I'd definitely go back, and would also be interested to try their dinner menu. When we go back, if its lunch, I'd be sure to ask for a table with an umbrella, as the unshaded sun got more than a little intense.
We have visited Uptown Market the last few weekends for brunch and I have to say, it’s always a solid choice. The food is very good, the brunch menu is not overwhelming and the service is great. They do well with Covid precautions and the servers work very, very hard. I’ve watched them deal with several demanding tables in the scorching hot heat with grace and patience. We will continue going back and we thoroughly enjoy this neighborhood spot.
Food preparation was truly exquisite! Reasonably priced, excellent location and outstanding service.
Spanish inflected menu with some Italian dishes. The menu changes weekly which means I missed the Cacio e Pepe from the previous week but had lovely shrimp and fries and a gorgeous martini!
Good food. Delicious menu items. Great grocery store with unique Spanish/European items directly connects to the restaurant. Plastic shields separate the tables that are safely distanced. All service staff wear masks. There's a patio in front for those who want to eat outside (although they should put up 1 or 2 extra patio umbrellas). Highly recommended!
This was my first time eating at a restaurant since the pandemic and I chose Uptown Market because it feels safe there. Brunch was delicious! I had the chicken and waffles and my husband had an omelet. They were very safe and mindful of social distancing. The service was great and everyone there is working very hard to make the experience a good one during these challenging times. We ate outside and had plenty of space away from others.
Food here is better than Barcelona’s on 14th. The chef is a nice guy that comes out and serves the guests. Everything on the menu is great, you can’t order a bad thing. Very interesting flatbread they have - it’s amazing. It’s my neighborhood spot now
