Great new restaurant in downtown Columbus. Dynamic menu with fresh, local ingredients as well as fun cocktails. Will definitely be back!
The food was fantastic! The martinis were perfect and the service was excellent. Will definitely come back!
The experience I had was very good. The chef, the sous chef, the waitress, the owners, the staff in general were all very gracious and nice. The food was excellent! Everything was delicious. The standout star was the lobster roll. It was to die for. Excellent!!! Oh, and I Ioved the open kitchen concept. It was like sitting in a friend's home-kitchen and having dinner - except this was HIGH quality food, HIGH quality cooking, and HIGH quality service.
I have to say this is probably the best food and dining experience I’ve had in Columbus in a long time! Highly recommend!
This is the blackened salmon with creamy polenta and sautéed spinach. Cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned fish, if they have it on the menu, order it! I promise, you will not be disappointed, Chef Adam is a genius in the kitchen!
The food, service, and staff is superb! I will definitely continue to support this awesome restaurant!
This is our favorite new place in Cbus! The food is divine. The atmosphere and service are par none. I can't say enough about Adam and his incredible team. The creativity and love put into this place are inspiring. You will not be disappointed.
They were so accommodating and welcoming. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Food was absolutely fabulous!!!
It is nice to see that Columbus finally has a great place to enjoy awesome food prepared very well. The staff and chief very friendly and loved, loved the pork chop and small plates.
Can't wait to see if they open more than just Friday and Saturday nights.
I loved the food and atmosphere!! The chef/owner was funny and engaging. But the food overall was absolutely delicious!! I will definitely be going back!!
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend. Decent wine selection too.
Took a chance on this restaurant on a whim. We were seated right away, was seated at the back bar across from Adam, the chef and owner. We loved watching him cook entrees while enjoying conversation. We felt like we were having dinner at a friends house. Food was excellent! We’ve been back several times. Highly recommend you try Uptown 51 for yourself.👍😁!
Current, efficient (not rushed) in every way! Food, decor; Adam Yoho and staff set the tone for a remarkably pleasant dining experience. Menu (bar/food) is concise; artistic and quite savory. We do recommend.
We just stumbled upon this restaurant while passing through Columbus. The food was absolutely wonderful. We ended up trying just about everything on the menu. We particularly liked the mushroom toast. Wow!
The chef stopped by our table a couple of times to get our feedback and to just chat. He made the experience extra special.
Give this new restaurant a try. You will not be disappointed.
Britney and staff were great!
Food was great and priced well for what we got
1st time at this new spot in downtown area. Drawn to menu and use of Butcher & Grocer meats. My wife and I were super impressed with the quality of the food and the value for the money. Open kitchen with single chef preparing everything, with great skill. The pork chop was one of the best I've ever had and my wife enjoyed her scallop dish very much.
This is an excellent addition to the Columbus dining scene and I'm projecting that it will soon attract a trove of foodie fans!
Brittany and the chef were amazing!
Fastest sit-down meal we’ve ever had! We were in and out in under 30 minutes and enjoyed cocktails, an appetizer, and entre. It would have been great to have the plates spaced out over an extended period of time to enjoy each other’s company, our drinks, and the restaurant more. Service was great, but didn’t give much space/time for the dinner party. Cocktails/food were decent. The Rockefeller dish is definitely on the saltier side, but an interesting spin on a classic. Great for a quick bite, but not super conducive to a date night/special occasion. Thank you!
Fantastic food! Chef is awesome !
Don’t let the interior set up fool you, this place is well beyond what the layout may have you believe. When Uptown 51 took over this space I was skeptical to be honest. It was a sandwich shop prior, then a casual coffee/breakfast place. The unique layout does now give you the ability to watch this chef use cuts from Butcher and the Grocer along with creativity and clear skill to create great flavors. These dishes are great with presentation. I typically eat filet but tried the steak which is a cut he works out with the butcher but affordable at $24 served with chimichuri with broccoli crispy potatoes and chili aioli that has a kick. I started with an elderflower cosmo that was amazing and we tried the beat appetizer. I have never tried beets but the description made me curious so I gave it a go. I’m so glad I did, amazing. They are 50 yards away from my front door and I hope they will be here for a long time.
Adam and Alana were amazing.
Food was on point. Friendly chef and staff. Unique setting where you can watch the chef cook your meal. Only feedback would be to lower food prices a bit.
I asked for my steak to be well done and it was not and then it was cooked for a little longer and it was still not well done but the outside was burnt....terrible experience !!!
Dinner was with my wife and another couple and they let me pick out the place. It was FANTASTIC. The food was great and the atmosphere was even better. The Chef, Adam, came over and we had a nice discussion on food, wine and the world. We definitely will be back.
We had a birthday celebration and the food was great!
This is going to be my birthday place. I plan to bring another birthday celebration this weekend!
I love the Hibiscus Margarita!
I think that I will do wine this weekend.
Cant wait until Saturday.
Excellent! Best meal we have had in a long time!
This place has a lot of promise, but needs a lot of help on the execution. Especially if they expect to survive in a space next door to Due Amici.
The food menu reads fantastic, but the food itself left quite a lot to be desired. Luke warm. Not a ton of flavor. The charred carrots just tasted like burnt charcoal, and were practically still raw-hard on the inside. My boyfriend's steak that he ordered medium was also burnt on the outside but still bloody on the inside. His brussels sprouts were also under-done. My scallops were good, but the bed of polenta it came on was frigid.
The kitchen is open with a bar behind it so small parties can mingle with the chef. Cool idea, but the chef didn't wear a mask while he was back there cooking and conversing. Yikes.
The cocktails were also just okay; and the lack of a wine selection by-the-glass (just one red and one white, neither of which were all that good) was thoroughly disappointing.
The service was decent - very sweet people; but our server was a bit unkempt. Crocs with socks, camo sweatpants, and a t-shirt. No one is asking for black tie, but a nice pair of jeans or slacks with a shirt takes very little effort.
We visited very shortly after their opening, so I'm sure there is a curve at play here. Hopefully they can sort some things out and still do well.
