   Been here many times and NEVER once were we disappointed. The Crawfish Etoufee and New Orleans Gumbo are my favorites. All the dinners are great also. Fresh food and the owner is there working the Kitchen and making the food great. It's well run and worth the trip.

   Upstream Grill is a great restaurant with creative menu options for everyone! I'm vegan and I love having choices of what to eat! My family is not vegan and loves the steaks and fish entrees too. And my family raved about the flan on the dessert menu!!! Best they ever had!

   Excellent value, very good food. If this restaurant was one the lake front, there'd be a line to get in. Definitely worth trying.

   Really loved the outdoor seating! Secluded, great evening ambiance, subtle lighting, fire pit. Perfect spot to have a conversation AND listen to the band playing indoors. The chef knows his Louisiana-style cooking. Their crawfish and blackened fish dishes were amazing!

   Service was quick and food came out sooner than expected. Everyone in our party of five loved their choices. Staff was attentive.

   Great menu. Quiet during the day for lunch but hear its hopping at nite. Menu is creative and interesting. Will go back.

   The menu changed since last we were there, and there were fewer options. In addition,several of our favorites were missing. That said, everything was delicious, especially the BBQ Brisket. The server told us that the winter menu would bring back some of the dishes that were now gone. We hope so! Even with fewer choices, we were not disappointed.

   Unique and interesting menu, food was delicious then stayed for entertainment, saw a great band.

   I so wanted to like this restaurant! Saying that, the food was absolutely delicious, at least the main entree & when I found out about the specials AFTER I had already ordered! The location is a little off-putting, the view out the window is not that great. But sitting inside is pleasant, esp. if you are near the window. It is a very mature crowd & the "live music" is from the 1940's! But, the piano player was a sweet guy. The real issue & killer is that the service is non-existent or shall we clarify, mediocre. Has to do more with lack of training, & the age of the servers. We sat at the table for quite awhile before anyone noticed us. Finally, I got up & got us water for the table! Had to keep asking for water, which I hate. Shows no one is paying attention. Then, we were asked about appetizers & placed our order but no one ever mentioned any specials! If I had known about the specials, we would have definitely changed our order. Also, the two appetizers we ordered came out in 30 seconds but no drinks!!! We were actually finished eating the apps before we got our 2 drinks. Then were told that the wine we ordered was not available! We ordered the calamari (fair, not the best but the aoli sauce was great! ) & the lobster lettuce wraps. The lobster was fresh but the presentation was a complete mess, like they just slapped it on the plate but it tasted good. We placed our order for dinner & I mentioned I was surprised there were no specials. The wait person was like, Oh, did you want to know about the specials! DUH! We changed to the salmon entree special which was delicious & I changed my salad order to the tuna tacos which I could eat every day! They were THAT GOOD! We got another wine, not as good as I had wanted originally but it was ok. What might make us come back is that overall, the value for the food & drinks is amazing. That part is great. I would really like to come back & see more consistency in service & not feel like we are being rushed out the door.
