Upstairs at Landrace is a casual neighbourhood bar & bistro, our food is led by ingredients which are carefully sourced from local farms and market gardens, we work with producers who have a natural approach to growing and use regenerative, high welfare farming techniques. The menu regularly features handmade pasta, line-caught Cornish fish and meat from Haye Farm in Devon, and Huntsham Farm in Herefordshire.
You can join us for a quick plate of pasta at lunchtime or a longer celebratory meal with friends & family in the evening. Our menu changes regularly, you can find sample menus updated weekly on our website.

The wine/cider list changes regularly, focusing on small European growers and makers. All our wines have been made following low intervention organic/biodynamic practices. We also pour many local naturally made ciders and perrys. Our soft drinks are made in house showcasing seasonal cordials, and aperitif/digestif offerings can bookend your meal if desired.

The service was attentive and knowledgeable and the food delicious. We had tender Cantabrian anchovies, cucumber in ayo blanc, fettuccine with pork ragu and monkfish in a Provencal sauce washed down with a dry Piedmont muscat. We will return!

Was visiting Bath, saw a review and decided to give it a bash. Looks can deceive but don’t let the entrance deter you. A rustic establishment with character. Service was excellent, food just as good. Lovely cod dish, ragu tagliatelle (was very tasty) . Great starter, cucumber feta mixture ( go for it) my explanation will not do it justice. Wine a little pricey but good. Try it out it is a little gem

Next level service and top class food. What a great dining experience at Landrace. Highly recommended for anyone interested in good food and wine while visiting Bath.

Partner had the pasta dish and loved it - with the cucumber small plate it was perfect for summer evening. The cod was perfect - fish always is here yet this time somehow even more perfect (yes I know that's poor English); it flaked away and was at the point where it's as moist as it can be without any trace of raw fish flavour. Presumably each piece of fish is scanned by a special machine before being accepted into the kitchen and then a computer calculates cooking and resting time - or is it experience and genius combined? Lovely well timed service too. Thank you

Upstairs at Landrace was a joy. I don't know how I found out about them but I am so glad I did. It feels like the kind of place that the locals know about and want to keep to themselves. It's a great space with friendly, open service. An atmosphere of calm enjoyment. And, the food. Wholesome, original, so delicious. We'll be back next time we stay in Bath. As a bonus I picked up coffee and cardamom buns the next morning for breakfast. Seriously, I wish we lived nearby. Wonderful. Like Gail's when they had one store and a soul. Never change.

If they have their whipped feta cheese dip with vegetables you have to order it! It was one of the best dishes we had in Bath and we had many wonderful meals!

Good honest food cooked well. We didn’t have time for dessert or to try lots of things as we were going out afterwards. But our 2 cannelloni and 2 side salads were great with a side of the cheese fritta’s. Can’t wait to go back one day and try more. The bakery downstairs is outstanding btw x
