I really enjoyed my brunch. Our waitress was amazing very friendly and upbeat. The drinks were really good (get the strawberry basil lemonade) the food was okay. It was very loud but not necessarily a bad thing. Everyone seemed to be really having a good time so I didn’t mind. Overall really nice place.
Tons of fun great atmosphere and food. Very great waiters held our table when we showed up late. Would go back many times 10/10
I wish we were upstairs. But everything was awesome. You guys are great.
Birthday!! great server great food, loved this brunch!!
New Years Day
Fulfilled a brunch reservation here on 12/19 for my wife’s birthday. Arrived 30 mins early & were seated right away. However it took over 15 mins to be greeted by our server. She came over, was friendly, and took our drink order. It took over 20 mins to receive our drinks. We were sat at 1pm, greeted at 1:15. Received drinks at 1:38. The bartender brought our first round of supposedly “bottomless” drinks — the strawberry basil lemonade with tequila - which was delicious. But our server didn’t come take our order until after 2:15. At this point we’re getting frustrated because our server isn’t being attentive — the busboy was more attentive than she was. After taking our food order, we waited for it to be brought out — took about 20 mins which was to be expected — no complaints on how long the food took. During the wait for the food, the bartender did come over & asked if we needed anything & got us a second round. The food was underwhelming. I ordered the chicken & waffle sandwich with a biscuit substitute. The whole sandwich was very bland. My wife ordered the chilaquiles & Buffalo wings. The wings were really good, however her chilaquiles were also bland.
We didn’t see our server again until we were ready for a box for the wings & the check. Couldn’t even enjoy the experience of “bottomless” drinks because our server was hardly at the table.
Overall, it was a 2 star experience & we won’t be returning.
Had a lot of hopes for this location.
The service was so awful I am now writing a review about it. Our server was extremely rude! Skipped over our table consistently despite most of our party not even having drinks yet. On a two hour sit time we only had 30 minutes to eat. When a food order came out incorrect- she responded by saying “you told me you wanted that, that’s what you ordered” and was unwilling to take the plate back and bring out the correct dish.
Our initial issue before the rest of our service experience was that upon being seated we were informed that the 60 dollar bottomless mimosa deal needed to be purchased by everyone at the table or wasn’t available at all. Their “whole table participation required for bottomless mimosas” was NOWHERE on their website and had it been we would have chosen another location, as one individual in our party was pregnant and forcing her to purchase alcohol she cannot drink is ridiculous. Our server once again was unwilling to make accommodations, even when we requested to physically separate the table between drinkers and non drinkers to make it easier for them to “keep track of who was drinking” as she said.
Ultimately the food being tasty was the only reason brunch wasn’t completely terrible. The manager was also very kind after hearing about our experience.
Tried for the first time while visiting some friends and overall we had a great time! It was pretty noisy but there were multiple large parties. Our waitress seemed to forget about us pretty often and it took a while for us to get our drinks. Food tasted good and drinks were pretty good too.
Dinner reservation for 7pm, food was excellent (most of our table ordered the chicken sandwich, I had the cauliflower steak which was so flavorful). By ~8:30, it had definitely transitioned to more of a lounge than restaurant, great music!
Went here hoping it would live up to the talk of how good the food was. All 4 of us thought the food was good. Nothing was bad at all considering we enjoyed our meal but the burger nor the chicken sandwich lived up to the hype. Would definitely go back because the place was nice, staff was very hospitable, drinks were good cold and staff was terrific but other places in the area to go with better food.
We ordered teriyaki wings, uproar mix wings, and shrimp for appetizers. Then ordered both burgers, chicken sandwich as is and then one chicken sandwich with Buffalo.
Great bottomless brunch with different drink options!
Really good food, the cinnamon roll was outstanding. Service was excellent.
Overall good experience but service was very slow for everything. We really liked the ambiance and the food was better than expected for being a more casual place. The whipped feta appetizer was especially tasty.
Food and service was meh
We had such a great time at Uproar! The trivia host is amazing.
Burger was kind of dry, they were out of some menu items and service was ok.
The food was very mediocre, the tables were so close together, you barley could move around, the service was awful it took forever to get any type of service, i feel like their are way better brunch options.
Disorganized, but friendly. Server didn’t know what kind of oysters they had which is concerning. Items were added to the bill we didn’t order. Bill got fixed accordingly. Food was ok, and not memorable.
Super fun place. Good music. Like a club for for brunch. We had a great time. Only thing not great was that the waffles were 100 percent eggo waffles. I know an eggo when I see one and they served eggo waffles.
The Uproar burger, brussel sprouts and apple cider old fashioned were amazing! The chicken sandwich and sangria were good but not my favorite. Overall it was a great dinner with great service!
Met a college friend for brunch, it was great!
Came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday and had the best time! I go to a lot of brunches around the city, but Uproar really exceeded all expectations. Great food, service, drinks and atmosphere!
Had a really good time and the food was spectacular.
My cousins and I wanted to do a cousins brunch and found the perfect location. Feby was an exceptional waitress.
Wonderful experience. Great atmosphere outside, excellent service, yummy food.
Cool Chicago casual spot!
The service was very poor. We ordered Pepsi and a beer and the Pepsi was flat and watered down by the time it came to our table. The waiter hardly ever stopped by our table although he walked by us quite a few times. I’d not recommend this place at all
The best Biscuits and Gravy I've ever had! The brunch food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. Great place overall.
Food was amazing and our server was so nice! Will definitely come back here again.
Automatic 20% tip applied to your bill, so be prepared to wait an hour to get a drink or service.
Food was fine, service was ok, place is noisy. Fun for a night out with friends but not the place to go if you want a more relaxing dinner.
A bit overpriced for a brunch but the staff was awesome!
Sunday brunch was accompanied by a very loud and intrusive audio/visual of the Bears v Browns game. Understandable but unwelcome due to it preventing all conversations below a yell even at a small table. Consider turning the audio down.
The Bloody Marys were very good. I had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was cooked too well and the waffles were soggy. Overall, not a bad experience, though.
Never disappoints! Chicken and waffles are so yummy!
As a vegetarian i loved that they included the (V and GF) next to certain food options. But i ordered the biscuit and gravy and you wouldn’t think by the way it sounds that it would have meat in it but it did. The gravy had small bits of ham in it that was NOT in the description. Just something to be aware of you have a different eating preferences.
Great atmosphere, greater service! The food was tasty and we left with a smile on our faces.
Great place to be seen.
Food was good but restaurant was too loud and the servers were rude.
Slightly disappointed by the menu and their prices. They didn’t have much to offer (especially on the healthier side) and it was pretty pricey! Great decor and friendly service. But they can improve on their menu!
