Amazing food, service and ambiance. Definitely going again.

Friendly and tasty we dined on the enclosed terrace and felt safe, attended to and almost like normal. We look forward to our next meal at Upper West.

It was so nice to go back to our favorite restaurant after a long hiatus.

One of my favorite dinners I’ve had since moving to LA. Highly recommend starting with the tuna crunchy rice.

We’re all vaccinated and slowly emerging from our cocoons so it was great to go to our neighborhood restaurant and feel as if nothing had changed! Still not ready to dine indoors but we were in the room where the big windows are open to the street so it was as if we were outdoors. Felt very safe, all protocols were followed and everyone seemed happy to be back! Can’t wait to go again!

Fabulous food.

Amazing food by an amazing chef. Great atmosphere indoors and extensive bar if you just want to grab a drink. Try the bread pudding, it’s unreal!!

As always it was sublime!! Friendly service, amazing food. It’s like home but so so much better!! This is my favourite place in the area.

This is one of our go-to restaurants on the westside. It never disappoints!

Great visit after "lockdown" Unique wine list and diverse menu with something for everyone.

Great food and service. Pretty big portions. Fun cocktails. We had a group of 7 and were seated well away from other tables. Would definitely return.

Our first time to Upper West and we will definitely return. We had chilled Thai peanut noodles to start. Flavorful with a light peanut sauce. For entrees we had Pan Roasted Pittman Farms Chicken, actually more like a stew. The flavors were amazing. The Squid Ink Spaghetti with shrimp and sausage was delicious as well. The ciabatta that came with it was so good. Service was friendly and attentive.

We LOVED this place!! The ambiance and the food were amazing!! We can’t wait to go again!

Excellent- neighborhood gem

Delicious food and cool ambiance... Will definitely return. But the menu on Open Table says Happy Hour is daily until 7. We made our reservation at 6 so we could have time for that but when we arrived they told us it ends at 6. Not happy with that.

A delicious, fun night out

Even sitting on the sidewalk, with lots of traffic whizzing by, it was tremendous fun to enjoy our appetizer of sinfully rich blue cheese potato chips, our delicious cocktails (I had a raspberry lemonade gin concoction, from which they kindly eliminated the basil at my request; my husband had a dry gin martini); the sweet, tender special pork loin, the iron flank steak, and a piece of chocolate cake. The staff was very nice about a requested substitution of a vegetable for the goat cheese mashed potatoes that came with my pork, and let me have asparagus instead. (They gave me multiple vegetable choices.) My husband's steak was perfectly cooked. The staff was very friendly and solicitous.

First time back after a year. Service was great and the pork chop and chicken salad was yum. This is always the best place on the Westside for food, atmosphere and service😎

This is one of our go to restaurants. So glad to be able to dine comfortably with them again, although sitting close to Pico does create a lot of background noise.

Obviously had to eat outdoors, but there was an excellent portable heater. Everything was excellent from start to finish.

Best food... so many gold standards and unique creative dishes too... sooo hard to choose! Fun to pick a few plates and share. Cocktails shaken to perfection and wonderful wine list. Best of all, everyone that works at Upper West is kind, generous, and makes every customer feel special. Beautiful evening out!

Good food, good wine!

From service, to food, to drinks, Everett was great. The flatiron steak and roasted chicken were both delicious, and my el Diablo drink - I could have had 5 of them!

Outstanding as usual. Covid friendly seating both inside (windows are so huge it is like you are outside) and outside. Feels like you are in a city, very vibrant.

A wonderful valentines meal. Service and food was perfect! Relaxed and incredible quality. Love love this place.

In LA for Valentine's Day weekend, somehow managed to beat the rush and get a table here as soon as they opened for dinner. Wow what a pleasant surprise.
The food: quality ingredients, beautiful plating.
The service: amazing and intuitive, great staff.
The location: street side, not too many cars that go by.
The pro tip: order ALL the appetizers. Thank me later.
