Great Food and perfect ambiance and lighting
Really good food with great tradicional vs modern twist. On my case, extremely poor service. Server was visibly overwhelmed and disconnected from us. We couldn’t not even understand what he was saying so fast....our excitement was on the food since service was under expectations.
Very loud! I like loud, but found it hard to carry a conversation
We had a fantastic experience. The service was impeccable- from the hostess, to the servers, to the bus boys. Their attention to detail was impressive. The appetizers, entrees and dessert were outstanding. The cocktails were great, too. Would highly recommend and go back!
Amazing! Beautiful staff beautiful people!!
Went this past weekend to celebrate my birthday with a group of friends during brunch. The staff was wonderful and the food was great. Highly recommend!
Innovative food perfectly executed, with attentive but approachable service.
We tried several dishes each more flavorful than the last. We enjoyed the drunken snapper, wood grilled prawns, scallops, and salmon. They also have an extensive wine list and great cappuccinos. Plus server was attentative and polite. We will definitely be returning.
Great food, nice nyc design, mediocre service
This was our first time dining at Upland and we will definitely be back. The food was excellent but the highlight of the meal was the amazing gin cocktail call the cat’s pajamas. I am obsessed with the coconut foam. The other stand out was the service we received from Mike who was probably one of the best servers we have had. It’s the Mike from The Northeast - exceptional.
The food was well prepared and tasty. The service was abominable at best. I have never been so ignored and treated as a nuisance eye rolls and all. It was my friends birthday and they forgot despite my numerous freiendly and private reminders. I am not sure I could return. Terrible.
The menu is creative and unusual and the food is wonderfully prepared. Just terrific. Our waiter, Tony, was phenomenal!
One of the good restaurant in Miami Beach. (South beach). Advise to try. Except the NOISE in. Prefer outside seating.
Top notch food, ambience and service. Had a wonderful dinner.
Service was amazing and food was delicious. The space was so beautiful
The food is good but not a lot of gluten free options.. the server was a bit rude... unfortunate since I’m allergic to gluten I couldn’t eat a lot of things and the waiter wasn’t very knowledgeable about the options :(
The food was good, but not exceptional. I had the triffled pasta and it was a little cold and not very flavourfull. The ambiance was great and service as well.
Amazing food and drinks! Friendly efficient service! Delicious !
Best fish dinner I have had. The Bronzino for two was fantastic. Highly recommended.
Was absolutely amazing :)
Not impressed with the menu at all. It’s a hit or miss. Some dishes were fantastic and very flavorful, while others left a lot to be desired. The portion size is very small. Definitely not meant for sharing. It was fine with me but I know some people would be very disappointed.
Attractive dining room. Service was good. Food was unexceptional but serviceable.
The food and ambiance is very good but it was pretty expensive for what we ate which was not much... but if you’ve never been before it’s definitely worth a try.
We love to take our visiting friends to Upland for delicious food, good service and great ambiance. We continue to "wow" everyone who visits from out of town with our local favorites. Thanks for staying consistent..... 😊
We prefer to dine earlier, as the noise level does rise as the evening lingers....
We went for Brunch on Easter Sunday and then again Thursday night for dinner. Both meals were very good!! Loved the pasta, the eggs benedict were awesome too. The ambiance was very nice, as well!! Would definitely recommend and would come back again!!
Food, service and atmosphere were all amazing.
The pizza, potatos, broccoli, and drinks were amazing!! The service was perfectly spot on. The short rib left room for improvement. It was overly salty and served almost cold.
Great quality food and respect for the ingredientes
Great night out.
The perfect date for my daughter and I! Fantastic food and the delightful staff made for a memorable evening to wrap up our Spring break!
Nice restaurant with great interior design. Service was good though a bit perfunctory. Food was quite nice but did not justify the elevated price level. Pasta with truffles good taste but too salty and the noodles were not quite al dente. Overall a good place but overpriced.
Arguably the best restaurant in Miami area. Superb food, large portions and outstanding service.
Loved it! Always have a great time there! Will definitely be back! Service, ambiance and food are great!
Lovely food as always - I wish there were more non-meat options in the main-section (fish).
The chicken-main is fabulous, albeit at 1/2 chicken rather a protein-bomb (a lot of food!).
The lobster pasta dish is also nice, BUT they are beginning to REALLY skimp on the lobster-portions they provide with that dish - at over $30+ for this pasta dish I feel it is becoming unreasonably priced! If you want a GREAT lobster-pasta, go to Lobster Bar & Sea Grille for they version as it comes with a complete 1lb poster over pasta for the same price!
I mentioned this to the Maitre'D, and they said they'd improve that in the future... but I doubt they will!
This was our second time having Sunday brunch at Upland. We highly recommend the Smoked Preserved Board and the Little Gem Salad to finish and cleanse the palate. The only "clunker" we ordered was the Avocado Toast. We were presented with one slice of toast and a half of an Avocado (scored & seasoned) on a plate...It is essentially a DIY Avocado Toast for $11.
The service was excellent as before and we will definitely return to explore more items on the menu.
Great quiet spot south of the action. Our waiter was amazing. We sat outside and ate very light. Falaffle Salad and Pistatio pizza but he could not have been nicer and didnt try and make us do a main, as long as we were happy. Great night.
Wanted to love this place. It is beautiful and charming and the menu reads so well. Everything we had - appetizers and pasta - while flavorful were barely room temperature. Nothing was hot or even very warm. When we told the server, he was a little condescending, saying that's how it's prepared. Funny, we'd had the same dish at maybe 5 other places, including while in Rome and it was hot every other time.
If we were still in Miami, we would take advantage of the Happy Hour and book again tonight. We had the squash blossoms appetizer and main courses of seared scallops with citrus ponzu sauce and truffle fettuccini. All were first-rate. The maitre d' graciously accommodated our request for a table with less air conditioning. Our server, Mike, was friendly and charming and kept the wine flowing. The room is visually soothing and relatively quiet. An altogether excellent dining experience.
