Excellent service and delicious meal. We loved every bite of the broccoli, salmon (great farro salad) and pasta. Just wonder why the kitchen ordering staffer needs to be so loud. She was screaming out orders to the cooks during our entire meal! It was terrible.

We went for the turkey dinner on thanksgiving. It was the best meal of my entire life. The atmosphere, the cocktails, the food, and the company. 10/10

We went on Thanksgiving day so the menu was limited to a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, a Branzino for 2, and another roast for 2 (I can't recall what that was right now). We chose the Branzino, a salad, and a stuffed squash appetizer. The salad and squash were nothing spectacular....the Branzino was good, but I've had the same at other Miami restaurants for half the price. We asked the waiter for a small cornbread basket from the Thanksgiving menu, and he made it seem like a problem to get a couple pieces of bread (by all means, charge me for them....but please dont make it seem like a problem!!) The atmosphere was casual and inviting....dogs are welcome outside ( a plus for me). I would give Upland a second chance on a regular non-holiday day. Overall it was OK.
Fantastic food and service. We were going to be in Miami for Thanksgiving week, and wanted at least a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. A little bit of Yelp research brought us to the right place! We came in early, 2 pm, but the folks at Upland were already rolling. The food was fantastic, with everything cooked to perfection: turkey two ways --baked and fried--, with all the fixings (special mention here to the mushroom bisque & superb stuffing!), and outstanding service, too. Keeping Upland in my phone book for any future visits to Miami Beach.

Everything is solid at this restaurant, everything from the quality of the food to the attentive service.
we just had happy hour but it was an exceptional happy hour. service and staff is out of control good, and the food and flavors were seriously outstanding. love this place.

I love the decor and the atmosphere of this restaurant. We definitely would return to try more dishes. The pizza was amazing and the pasta dish was cooked to perfection. The Bronzino was one of the best we ever had. The skirt steak was cooked exactly the way we like it and it was so juicy and tender. Everyone loved the desert, it was big enough to share among 4 of us. We paired the meal with a Malbec, very affordable and good value. Our server was very friendly. I highly recommend it and I will go to Upland in NYC.
Carrots sound boring...but order some with your meal...yum! Had a great time tonight.

Absolutely a must/go-to dinner spot in Miami...not to be missed. Vibe was energetic and fun. The food and service are both top notch...a true foodies paradise!
We went two nights in a row....the first evening was just for happy hour and light menu from the bar. Best burger around and the bartenders are real pros/super creative. Don't miss having a specialty cocktail with them.
We have been to Upland in NYC and Miami...love them both. Chef Justin Smille is a culinary genius.

Having been to the the New York Upland I was looking forward to the meal and they exceeded my expectations. The branzino for two is a must.
Excellent food experience
We visit Miami once or twice a year and always come to Upland for dinner. This time we met friends who live in Miami. They had never been there. And enjoyed it as much as we did.

Excellent but small bites from the Happy Hour Menu at the bar then on reco from the bartenders an absolutely stunning Pistachio Pizza... just perfection crust blistered crust to high end crispy rich cheese and savory crunch from the Pistachios. Friendly, skilled bartenders and management.
The food was really bad. The pasta was undercooked and had way too much pepper. The pizza base was fine but the marinara didn’t taste very nice and there wasn’t enough mozzarella on it.
Food was overpriced and very mediocre.
The drink I ordered was great but the bride to be did not enjoy her drink! She ordered a bloody mary and she was not happy with the way it came out! We ordered a frittata and it turned out very salty! There are very limited vegetarian options and they do not allow substitutions from meat to veggies. This was very disappointing as they did not accommodate for dietary restrictions.

The service was the worst, and the restaurant was pretty empty on a Sunday night! Our server had the personality of a rag. He was also pretty much like a ghost and only come back when it was tine for the check. Food was underwhelming
The fit out of this restaurant is impeccable, nice lighting, huge yellow flower pots, thousands of lemons in large jars with light flowing though giving the whole restaurant a very unique and homey style.
The food is also amazing - especially the carrots!

I had the nova bagel. The waiter was nice and told me the bagels were made at upland. Bagel were not good soft on outside and nova salmon was fishy tasty and too salty to eat. And the capers tasted like vinegar.

I heard a lot of hype about this place. I’m a fan of Steven Starr however disappointed with Upland. Pleasant staff, menu just ok , and a sticky table top is my critics review.

Expected much more from this restaurant especially after picking it off of a time out list. Restaurant is pretty but everything is just very average. Food is ok, service is ok. Nothing special.

My husband and I were in South Beach for an overnight getaway. The bartender at our hotel recommended Upland. We were more than pleasantly surprised. Our server was superior and the food was exceptional. We would highly recommend it. The only improvement might be noise canceling tiles inside. We enjoyed sitting outside. Loved it!!!
Terrific experience provided by our server Devon. I’m a fan of the NYC location, however there are also great food options available at the SOBE location as well. The Little Gem salad is a must order. Duck wings are delicious. Short rib so tender and could feed an army. We’ll be back again.
Arturo, our server was fantastic and made our meal more enjoyable with his entertaining personality. We will come again when we visit Miami.
